Synopsis:
You were expecting more; an apocalypse, a mass crisis, the awakening of the antediluvians or the rise of the Wyrm but-
The world carried on. Infrastructure crumbled, states contracted and nature grew over the cracks left by the promises of the early 2000s. Powers failed - many an elder found themselves losing power and regaining brief flashes of humanity. For some this was a welcome experience but for others, this was terrifying enough to warrant Final Death.
The dead do not speak.
There is no war to fight, no vampire Jyhad and no antediluvians left to serve. When the anteduvellians failed to awaken at the turn of the millennium many elders pushed East, searching desperately for their forebears. The kindred left are too young get involved and whatever elders remain have either been locked in torpor for the better part of the Epoch (weaklings) or powerful enough to ignore the Jyhad.
All that's left are vultures fighting over the scraps of the Camarilla, establishing miniature powerbases over anemic kingdoms.
Will you try to rebuild from the ashes of the Camarilla, or will you forge your own path in unlife?
