I don't know if I have a good experience of Role play. Yes, I know how to write a story. I have written books but this part is new for me.
I see it this way that you create a character and tell the story about his or her point of view.

And sorry I don't like fantasy,, history. Just a normal setting...

Roleplay is essentially collaborative storytelling. You create a character and write from their viewpoint and bounce off what others have wrote. It's like a group project where each section works off the other parts all to tell a story.
