hello! i’m avian (my long-time internet alias) and i’m 18 years old. please don’t persecute me for the lack of proper capitalization — it’s a stylistic choice…any other poets out there?
i’ve been roleplaying for some time now, but it’s usually been very casual, low-stakes roleplays. i first started on roblox (yikes) then moved to a small internet forum where most of the roleplays i joined died out after my second post. however, i am relatively familiar with forums, and i know bbcode, so that’s helpful! i really enjoy fantasy roleplays and pretty much anything other-worldly; it’s a nice escape. mythology, sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, etc. i’ve also always wanted to try d&d, but i live in a very small town with very few people who even know what that game is. maybe i’ll have to find people online who will teach me.
i joined looking for a more casual roleplay. i like to plot when it calls for it, but planning out every detail before i post isn’t very enjoyable for me. i’d rather figure things out as i go—it’s more fun for me that way! i also am hesitant to reach out because a lot of the people here look like very avid/advanced writers, which is rather intimidating! however, the best way to learn is through surrounding people better than you, i guess. i do consider myself a good writer…just not the best one ;)
