Stay consistent with the setting’s tone, while magic and fantasy elements are allowed, try to keep them grounded within the world rather than overpowered or reality breaking. Lastly, be active and communicate if you need to step away so the story doesn’t stall unexpectedly. Youre welcome to do horror, romance, action, casual, whatever you feel like doing at the given moment.

Original Characters (OCs) and characters from other fandoms are fully welcome as long as they fit within the tone and setting of Vaelthorn. Canon friendly races and creatures include humans, elves, orcs, dwarves, goblins, mages, beastfolk and other half races, spirits and ghosts, naga, dragons, and a wide range of monsters and mythical beings that naturally fit within a medieval fantasy world. If it feels like it belongs in old legends, ruins, forests, or kingdoms like this one, it likely has a place here!
