The Great War is over, and humanity, despite the odds, has emerged victorious. Though with the help of Covenant separatists led by Thel 'Vadam, or as he is most known by the Arbiter. Plus, the actions of the Spartan John 117, who went missing after the war conclusion and is listed as MIA.
While this is a time to celebrate the end of a destructive war and to the rebuilding of both sides, it would not be that easy. Despite the peace, problems and war still linger. From the Covenant remnants to the re-emergence of Insurrectionists that has started to appear on several human worlds. So, even after the end of the Great War and the peace that followed. Peace was not truly achieved in the galaxy.
But that would not stop those from ending these lingering threats to humanity. Wasting little time combating these threats, the new Spartan IVs, along with ODSTs and parts of the UNSC military, were mobilized to counter these threats. Now, one task force is heading toward the human colony of Argos V as a Covenant Remnant, the Spears of the Prophets is attacking it, and a task force is heading to the colony to defend it. Starting a chain of events that will lead to a greater threat than the task force can realize.

Set in 2555, three years after the end of the Great War. In this rp you will be playing as a group of ODSTs that are assigned to the ship
New Canaan is a doomed cause and has been left to rot. The local UNSC forces tried their best to fight off the Covenant in both space and land. Holding the line while civilians were evacuated while they desperately fought on. But the UNSC forces would be overwhelmed and forced to retreat from the doomed world with their surviving forces in tow.
However, to the dismay of the few survivors of New Canaan, the UNSC left them behind and abandoned the planet. Either by mistake, they were overlooked, or they were deemed too much of a risk to rescue. Now, as these abandoned forces figure out how to survive, they know that they would likely die on this rock, either to the Covenant soldiers or during the glassing. Yet there is hope, for it seems that not all of the UNSC abandoned New Canaan. For it was discovered that there was still an evacuation ship waiting in the system for two ONI operatives that are still on New Canaan. While it is unknown why ONI operatives are on New Canaan and why they are still here after the fall of the planet to the Covenant. It did not matter to these survivors, and now the group is trying to find these ONI operatives and use them to get off world before the Covenant can glass the planet. But, for the time being, and for unknown reasons. The Covenant has held off glassing the planet, and now the time is ticking to find these ONI operatives and get them to help with getting off-world before the Covenant can finish off what is left of New Canaan.
If they can accomplish this in time, however.

Hello and welcome to the rp. Set during the Human-Covenant war in 2551 and on the world of New Canaan. You will be playing as stranded military personnel that, for some reason, they have been left behind when the planet fell to the Covenant. Now desperate to survive, they have found each other with the hope that they can still get off the world before the planet is glassed and join the dead. They are heading to the last known location of one of the Oni operatives.
Now you have the choice of playing as either an army, marine, or odst soldier. Spartans are not allowed to be played and will not be encountered in the rp. So keep that in mind, and you will just be playing as normal humans, not supersoldiers. But feel free to make your character how you want as long as it makes sense. Though when it comes to ranks, nothing above Lieutenant.
