Maybe this is just what Cloudflare didn't catch. There could be more that haven't made it past their filters.

In theory, Cloudflare's antispam should be helping us... =/

I'll try to think up a heuristic on how to detect these guys better. Maybe "if the username and email are just a bunch of random characters, then ban" but that sort of scares me.


That could work, but has the issue it gives false positives whenever you get a genuine user with random characters (got a few of those). Any way to implement it in such a way it just flags them instead of outright banning? Or is that too much work? Captcha in that case is the least... invasive option?
