Historians agree that, while the stories of Arthur and his knights likely drew from real British warlords and chieftains, they were largely fictitious, and should be regarded as legendary. There are a select few in the world, however, who know better. The stories of Arthur, his knights, and Merlin did truly happen in Britain's distant past, a past that is now obscured by the passage of time. The stories tell us that Arthur was conveyed to Avalon, to recover from the wounds he suffered at Camlann and to await Britain's hour of need. In reality, Arthur and his companions sailed across the Atlantic, and Avalon was the island later explorers would call Newfoundland. For centuries, two secret societies have waged a secret war, hidden from the eyes of the public, seeking to secure artifacts of immense magical power. The members of the Order of Excalibur are descended from Arthur and his knights, while those of the Order of Mordred are descended from Mordred and his followers.

In 1912, one of those artifacts was found—the Grimoire of Merlin. This ancient tome contains numerous spells, enchantments, and methods of divination. In the hands of an experienced magic user, the book is a source of extraordinary power. The Grimoire will be travelling to New York, where it will then travel to the headquarters of the Order of Excalibur in St. John's, Newfoundland. The ship it will be travelling on is the latest and most luxurious—the RMS Titanic, and it departs Southampton on April 10, 1912.

This game draws inspiration from the classic point-and-click game Titanic: Adventure Out of Time, and blends the Titanic with Arthurian legend.

The classes were strictly separated aboard the Titanic, so all players should be First Class passengers. Each team should have one mage character—a magic user who can use the Grimoire.

I love this idea! I'd like to play a reimagined Charlie Chaplin, if that's alright.

Glad you like the idea! You can make your character a theater or film actor, but he cannot be the Charlie Chaplin, if you don't mind.
