Ool didn’t react to Izzy’s comment about them being funny, Neo had a simple soft smile on his face which wasn’t uncommon for him when he didn’t look neutral.

Marrion moved easily as she picked up Izzy up, her super strength enough to handle it. She then dropped Izzy off at a strategic location.

Before Marrion moved her legs with the stealth and purpose of a predator, Izzy created the perfect opportunity for her walking out in front of the guards acting like she was very inebriated.

The two guards looked at her confused,

“MIss you aren’t supposed to be here.” Guard #1 started to say, he looked like a young man in his armor, hair not showing probably clean and conservative.

Meanwhile the Guard next to him looked like an older man with a bit of a beard,

“pfftt, when you’re in this work as long as I am, you’ll learn when Lady V brings you a blessing from above.” He snickered looking at Izzy.

“Course we can help a pretty lady like you out. Why don’t I show you back to the barracks so you can rest?” He leaned forward a bit with a sleazy grin,

“But sir I thi-” the younger guard spoke up clearly looking like he was objecting to the whole idea and just as the older guard turned to look annoyed at him and speak up, suddenly the older guard found himself getting dragged back by, and choked/sufficated to death by silk as he tried to let out a muffled scream due to Marrion who had moved in like a stealthy predator with a purpose, gaining the [Surprise] boon dealing damage to him directly before the guard stopped moving and his body was dragged over to a bush.

Meanwhile the younger guard got hit twice as he made a pained sound, first his inner elbow hit making him unable to strike her with his spear, then just beneath the collar bone as he made a pained face, the impacts making him jolt in place before he was jabbed on his pressure point just as he was about to react to Marrion, a look of terror on his face briefly before he was paralyzed by Izzy, as she struck the pressure points, quickly, unpredictably and precise, he slumped over, not moving, as she also benefited from [Surprise] bypassing his armor.

That gave both Marrion and Izzy an opportunity to get back to the hole where the rope would go up soon before the other guards had a chance to circle around.

Assuming the other two men came along (narrator note:I’m assuming they did after the guards were taken care of, Since Neo was literally on the move in his post)

He’d pause just by the wall of the building that needed to be scaled, and he turned his head to Miyu, he had been rather quiet up until that point,

“A thief who doesn’t like to climb ropes so he won’t?” Neo chuckled,

“That’s a nice joke, I’ll have to keep it in my repertoire." It seemed that he was deliberately not indulging Miyu’s statement about not being willing to climb.

He then turned his head to Aren, “It’s not a problem my friend, you would be far from the first.” He continued to give him the same sort of slight smile from before.

“I am sure they were both very impressive from what I heard.”

Neo then promptly began to scale the wall, it was apparent that he knew based on the sounds he heard that the two guards had been dealt with. That and the other’s dialogue.

By this point Ool had brought up what looked like a rope to the building’s rock wall, While Neo began to scale the wall like he was sighted and pretty solid at it.

He hurried up the wall before he got to the top and tied the rope to a metal flag pole which was placed into a hole in the ground, letting down the rope for the others, crouching nearby the edge to make sure they got up, as he gestured for them to come up the rope.

Miyu let out a sigh before pinching the bridge of his nose at Aren's realization.

"I hate how that was entirely untintentional, cause I would've had a better reason to smack you for that unfortunately unintended pun."

Looking up the wall, Miyu hummed to himself as he contemplated his choices. It was either to get backpacked by the brat next to him, or get hoisted up by the waist with a bored expression by the others.

Both seemed underwhelming to him - as picky as it was.

But the second he watched Neo scale the wall with ease and manage to bring a rope unfurling down towards them, Miyu smirked as an idea came to him.

"You can scale up the wall yourself, kid." Miyu tapped his foot onto the ground three times before a small manhole sized blur of space stirred below Miyu's feet. "I'll see you up there in thirty seconds. Be sure to catch me from up there. Toodles."

Miyu saluted with two fingers before taking a step forward and dropping into the blurred space of his pocket dimension on the ground and disappeared without a further comment.

With Neo already up there himself, and Aren already informed, it wouldn't take long for Marrion and Izzy to group up with them at a moment's notice. But Miyu had other ideas for joining back up with the rest of the motley crew.

The pocket dimension's opening remained as Miyu was inside. A whole thirty seconds passed just like Miyu announced to Aren before the opening stirred slightly as if answering to its user's command.

Soon after, a silhouette of a small body shot out upwards like an arrow, scaling past the wall in flight before their fast approach to the end of the rope and their trajectory to Neo's current location reached to a slow decline as Miyu, with arms crossed and expressions lax - with a piece of jerky protruding from his mouth - rested mid-air briefly as he looked to the others that had already been up there with an expectant gaze.

"Well? You gonna grab me or what?" He said simply without fear of the idea of gravity yet to take a hold of him. His voice slightly muffled as he had snacked on his rations while he was inside his pocket dimension.

Miyu's Actions:

Marrion made a mental note to return to this place later if possible. There's a few unconscious guards ready to be harvested. For now though, she followed along with others and climbed the rope like a normal person. She noticed that having four arms didn't necessarily mean she was any better than other person at regular rope climbing. Interesting.

Another thief choose to blast himself up for no reason. Marrion wasn't sure if she's supposed to help catch him midair or just watch him go splat on the ground... She choose the later. If he go splat then she could harvest his brain for her meal. If there's any. The others wouldn't stop her for taking some of him, right? Hopefully not.

Aren breathed out a sigh of relief when Neo dismissed his mistake with a soft smile of understanding. This was not the first time his fat mouth had almost gotten him in trouble... or rather, it was possibly the first time the victim of his careless words had been so understanding. A shiver ran up his spine as he recalled a particularly heinous offense...

He shook his head and was about to start climbing when he noticed the midget drop into some magical space. He blinked once, twice, three times, then shook his head and reached for the rope. This day just keeps getting weirder, he mused as he began climbing the wall.

Aren settled into a comfortable rhythm quickly; he was no stranger to a night climb. Just as he was about to reach the top, though, he heard a whoosh behind him. He looked back and up at Miyu, raising an eyebrow in mild surprise as he reached the apex of his trajectory and floated there for a second. "Oh, for f-" was all Aren had time to utter as gravity began to take hold of the shorty.

Aren's left hand darted outward and grabbed Miyu by his collar, his teeth clenching as the rope dug into his other palm. He tensed his legs as he braced for the sudden extra weight, his breathing slightly ragged from the exertion. "You know," he started, "it's a good thing you're not a big, fat guy, or this would be reeeeaaaally difficult." He swung Miyu side-to-side a few times to build momentum, then grunted as he tossed him like a sack of potatoes onto the top with Neo. He quickly scaled the last few feet to the top, where he knelt for a few moments to catch his breath.

The younger guard slumped where he stood, frozen in place by the precise taps of her needle. Izzy leaned back, admiring her handiwork for a moment before flashing a bright grin.

"There now. Tha's much better. Ye looked far too tense, love." She reached up and blew an exaggerated kiss toward the paralyzed guard. "Try not tae miss me too much."

Her fingers waggled cheerfully in farewell. Then reality returned.
The rest of the patrol would eventually circle around. And unlike her latest admirer, they might not be nearly as accommodating.

"Right. Time tae bugger off." With a quick pivot she broke into a jog toward the wall, boots crunching against the stone path as she hurried back toward the rendezvous.

She arrived just in time to see Neo already perched above, Marrion making her way up the rope, Miyu launching himself into the air like some sort of deranged projectile, and Aren beginning his climb.

Izzy stopped for half a second and blinked. Then took another swig from her canteen.

"Aye, ah'm not even gonna ask."

Hooking both hands around the rope, she began climbing. It only took a few pulls before she found herself directly beneath Aren.
A fact she noticed immediately. Her eyes drifted upward.
A grin spread slowly across her face.

"Y'know, boyo..."

She called up the wall.

"Fer a lad tha's always runnin' around rooftops, ye've got a remarkably fine arse." She nodded thoughtfully.
"Must be all th' climbin'." She pulled herself a little higher, the curl of the corners of her lips still evident.

"Very inspirational, really." Completely unbothered by the situation, Izzy continued scaling the rope while trying—and failing—to suppress a laugh.

Miraculously Miyu’s stunt to avoid having to commit to physical exertion didn’t end up killing him as he catapulted himself in his pocket dimension and then opened the other side near the top of where the band of thieves needed to enter.

Neo who had reached inside the hole in the wall, now looked over in the direction where Miyu spoke, his expression shifting from a smile to a curious one.

As a result unfortunately Marrion did not get squished Miyu to nom on. But she was able to scale the rope to near where Neo was when all was said and done. Aren was able to catch him with the time window provided and get Miyu to next to where Neo was though it likely all felt a bit rough.

Neo continued to listen to what everyone had to say while Ool flew with flying F into the stone tiled hallway which they now had access, to, to take a look around ahead presumably without Neo even having to tell the owl beast too.

Neo looked focused at this point, not reacting much to some of the banter going on other then a slight smile that pursed his lips before he went to get a move on, once everyone was up the rope, he’d move in and pull the rope up, presumably so they didn’t gain any more unnecessary suspicion from the outside if more guards came around for any reason.

Neo then gestured for the others to follow him assuming they were all ready too. “We will head down this hallway this way..” he’d speak softly, gesturing the way, it was lit with some small arcane torches that didn’t seem to burn out, illuminating the dark stone hallway, which was wide enough for about four of the group members to stand shoulder to shoulder.

“And watch your step.” He’d of course also gesture to the piece of the wall which jutted up that they’d need to step over to actually get into the hallway.

“We’ll be making our first left shortly.” Presuming they all followed Neo they’d find themselves just before a left turn in the hallway at a point, which if they looked they’d see that it soon led down about five stone steps to a slightly lower part of the facility, however there was what looked like yet another east empire guard who currently had his back turned speaking to another guard idly about both about 40 ft down the hall, they had spears and sort of just looked like they were idling.

When Neo got to just before the turn, Ool landed on his shoulder and put his beak near his ear and said something to him.

He then turned to the rest of the group, not saying a word, he simply made a hand gesture pointing to around the corner and then holding two fingers up, to indicate that there were two hostiles down there, not wanting to risk being heard.

After tossing Miyu to the top, Aren resumed climbing, his heart beating a bit faster from the close call.

Then he heard Izzy's comment, and his heart rate elevated for a completely different reason.

Still, he managed to keep himself composed as he grinned down at her. "Take a picture, it'll last longer." He punctuated the quip with a wink and an exaggerated pose that accentuated his glutes. He held it for a brief moment before climbing the rest of the way to the top.

Aren knelt at the top of the tower, panting slightly as he caught his breath. After a few moments, he stood and followed Neo. As he passed Miyu, he patted him on the shoulder. "No need to thank me, champ. I'll bill ya for it later," he stated with a straight face, once again hiding whether he was serious or not.

When Neo and Ool indicated the two guards ahead of them, Aren nodded and silently indicated he would take the one on the left, and that someone should take the one on the right. Assuming someone was following along to get the other one, he snuck up behind the guard on the left and tapped him on the right shoulder while stepping to his left. The guard looked right, confused, then swiveled to the left to see Aren give him a slight wave. "Hi," he said with a grin before immediately delivering a knockout punch to the jaw.

"Oh, for the love of- Just drop me now! I'd rather die than keep hanging around in between the both of you love birds." Miyu groaned in exasperation before he was sent flying over the top of the rope, catching himself onto his own bottom, before cursing out at the pain as he stood up.

As Aren passed him, patting his shoulder like a job well done, Miyu responded with a sigh before reluctantly thanking Aren.

"A single cent of appreciation. No negotiations for your payment, kid."

Miyu looked around the corner of the hallway they planned to enter, from where Neo had signalled two individuals blocking their path.

Two guards stationed a bit lower in elevation from where Miyu peeked around to see, talking to one another and entirely distracted.

Miyu eyeballed the spears in their hands. A fine weapon.

Miyu pondered an idea with them momentarily but was soon whiplashed as Aren took the lead as, he too, signalled with his own hands - indicating he'd prioritise one opponent himself.

Before another one of them took to the quick combat, Miyu spluttered out quickly in a hushed tone to either Izzy, Marrion or Neo, "Keep the spears in one piece!" He said without further context.

And soon, Aren made the first hit, a punch aimed straight for the jaw to which Miyu flinched as he felt himself wince in sympathy. Briefly, of course.

Marrion looked at the guards, then Miyu, then at the guard's weapon. She wasn't sure why the thief bother with the spear.

"If you just want regular weapons then we know a place where you can loots dozens of them." She said before rushing forward to capitalize on Aren being a big distraction.

Marrion quickly crawled through the hallway's wall and leapt towards the other guard once she's close enough to try tackling him down. Her two arms would try to choke him to unconsciousness (or death, she doesn't care that much) while her other arms trying to take the spear away.

Izzy crouched near the corner of the hallway, one shoulder pressed lightly against the cool stone wall. For once, she actually remained quiet.
Golden eyes peeked around the corner just in time to watch Aren slip toward the unsuspecting guards. A grin slowly spread across her face. The wink from earlier certainly wasn't helping matters. She unscrewed her flask and took a slow drink, watching as the young thief moved into position.

When Miyu suddenly hissed something about keeping the spears intact, her eyes flicked toward him. A blink. Then another, and her brow furrowed. She Leaned slightly closer, and whispered back.

"Y'know, ah've learned et's generally considered rude tae ask a man about his spear."

The corners of her mouth twitched.

"Especially a'fore buyin' 'im dinner." There was a pause.

"Though judgin' by th' look o' ye, ah suppose flowers an' a nice bottle might work too." She bit down on a laugh before it could escape.

Then her attention shifted back toward Aren. The pirate's grin widened as she watched him tap the guard's shoulder. "Oh, this oughta be good..." She murmured under her breath, settling in to enjoy the show.

Izzy watched Aren immediately punch him square in the face. A silent wheeze escaped her.

"Pffft!!" The sound barely escaped. "Subtle as a fochin' cannon..." She whispered. Still, it worked. Her eyes drifted back toward Marrion just in time to watch the strange woman launch herself from the wall like some sort of nightmare creature. Izzy's grin somehow widened.

"Well..." She murmured quietly to herself.

"Et esn'tha craziest crew Ah've worked weth. Least there's no clowns."

Neo held his position for the time being down the hallway seeing that others were willing to jump in. Normally he did a lot of this stuff himself with Ool so it was nice to have some more teammates were they could get some hitting in rather than just Neo having to sneak up behind people and knock them out all the time, though he was sure he’d probably have to do more of that even on this heist, but he really didn’t mind either way, he already gave them all a great deal of information he was the mind map for this assignment, contributing in that way already.

He “watched” what unfolded silently with a bit of a smile on his face. Though he did raise a bit of a brow as to why there was interest in the guard grade spear, sure they were quality enough but it’s not like they were rare or anything, perhaps they could be sold on the secondary market illegally to people who were trying to pretend to be an East Empire guard, those were some of the thoughts that did occur to Neo, but he didn’t actively voice them.

Aren made his way up next to the guard which he had decided to go after without fail he then tapped the guard, who in fact did turn around as was natural, just as they were about to react and start questioning Aren with their weapon pointed toward him, it wasn’t long before all they could get out was “HEY YOU ARE-”

and they got punched in the face with the surprise attack.

Thankfully Marrion’s bug like agility made navigating the hallway pretty easy as she moved in quickly.

While the other guard was getting ready to stab Aren with his spear, it was raised facing him and they were mid pivot, exclaiming "TAKE THI-" Marrion jumped off the wall and tackled them for a surprise attack while she yanked the spear out of their hands with superstrength and she got to work choking them.

It was at that point that Neo made his way over quickly and gave them a quick palm strike to the wind pipe while Marrion held them down, so that the guard lost consciousness faster on the off chance anyone else nearby might hear the sounds.

He then gave a nod to her and Aren, “Good work..let’s get a move on.” He said softly, moving down the hall, people did have a chance to try to grab stuff off the guards if they wanted too.

“There will be another left coming up..” Neo spoke softly gesturing for the others to follow him further down the hall, until they hit the left, and he looked around the corner with Ool before gesturing for the group that they were in the clear, there were some wooden doors in the hallway that appeared to be locked about 3 on each side spread out from each other, but Neo didn’t seem very interested in those, perhaps already knowing from his scouting that there wasn’t anything really worth stealing behind them at the moment.

Thankfully this time there weren’t more guards in the hallway but there appeared to be a sizable wooden crate which top had partially been broken off while it was on its’ side. It did look a bit out of place but not entirely with the context that it was a damaged facility that wasn’t in current optimized use and was largely just being guarded from intruders. One would need to spend time to look in the crate to see if there was anything of interest.

Farther down the hall beyond the crate the there was a t-section which must mean the right that Neo had been talking about would be coming up.

“This might get a bit more..dicey.” He forewarned the group softly, as Ool continued to fly and glide gradually above the group keeping pace.

"One piece." Marrion tossed the guard's spear at Miyu before moving on with their infiltration. There's plenty of place to look at but Marrion had a specific stuffs she's looking for.

"You know where they put the mithrils?" She asked Neo. The blind thief seemed to know the place better than any of them. She crawled all over the wooden crate trying to find the magic metal, but it's probably would be faster if Neo can point her out into a specific direction.

Izzy lingered just long enough to watch the two guards go limp before easing herself away from the corner. Her grin hadn't quite disappeared as she slipped past Aren, giving him a light bump against the shoulder with her own.

"Not bad, boyo." She nodded toward the unconscious guard sprawled on the floor. "ye've got ah damned good right hook." The compliment came with a crooked smile before she crouched briefly beside the unconscious younger guard.

Old habit.

Her fingers deftly checked the man's belt and pouches, relieving him of anything small enough to disappear into her own satchel—coin if he had it, a useful knife, perhaps a keyring if fortune smiled on them. Nothing bulky. Nothing that would slow her down. Only then did she rise and quietly fall back into step with the others. Her boots barely made a sound against the old stone floor now.

Golden eyes swept lazily over every doorway they passed, every shadow, every crack in the walls. She'd spent enough years aboard ships and in back alleys to know that the most dangerous thing in a place like this wasn't what you could see, but what was waiting around the next corner.

As Neo warned them things were about to become more difficult, Izzy glanced toward him. Her expression softened into something almost approving.

"Y'know..." she murmured quietly. "Fer ah bloke who cannae see, ye've got'ah decent sense'ov wha's goin' on an' where tae go." She adjusted the strap of her satchel. A wolfish grin tugged at the corner of her mouth.

"The spear's just for personal use. Don't think too much about it." Miyu responded but he didn't think the pair of Aren and Marrion would have swiftly dealt with the opposing foes before Miyu could even register it. With Neo immediately placing the final hit, Miyu blinked before he rounded the corner to follow.

"Uhh... thanks." Miyu approached as he tiptoed around the collapsed bodies on the ground.

With the spears still intact, and the time given to them being brief and temporary, Miyu took to them immediately and placed his inventory space, warping the area in front of him - catching the tossed spears mid-air as they fell into his inventory slowly like quicksand - before both disappearing altogether.

Now he didn't need to buy himself more arsenal for later. Two was enough for the intended purpose.

The following hallways and turns weren't as eventful, nor were they confronted with any other guards blocking their paths along the way.

That was preferable for everyone involved, of course. But judging Neo's strategic caution and words, it wouldn't be long until they were met with a far serious problem ahead of them.

"I'd wanna go blind myself if I had to witness the world and all its horrors, in all fairness." Miyu added in response to Izzy's banter.

What was initially intended for a bout of humour, Miyu turned it around immediately with unaware pessimism as he strolled past with a deadpanned gaze directed to his surroundings.

He continued, "You know, I can't help but pose a question-" He turned his head towards Izzy- "What do you get out of this particular mission? I mean, it's obviously for the money but you don't strike me as the type to go through this level of effort for mere profitable financial gain. Unless it truly is that simple and I'm just misinterpreting your intentions."

Neither toned with sincerity nor was it placed with any sample of disdain, but pure blunt curiosity that seemed to investigate his current appraisal of the woman.

Aren’s fist stung a bit from the punch, but he ignored it as Izzy bumped past him. He beamed from ear to ear at her compliment. “Ah, it’s nothing special,” he said dismissively. Contrary the humbleness of his statement, he puffed his chest out and flexed his arms a bit.

It was only after Izzy walked past and wasn’t looking that he shook the stinging sensation out of his hand. He then quietly followed her and Neo toward the end of the hall, watching and listening for potential incoming threats.

Neo looked to Marrion with a bit of a smile,

“That’s actually where we’re heading, after the next turn we’ll go down a set of stairs and There’ll a locked down storage area at the bottom with some military grade mythrils and Orichalcum as well as gear, and enchanted items. It’s part of the reason why they bother stationing guards around here even though this building isn’t currently fully functional or producing after the war…rumor has it they were made in surplus for some high command people who never ended up hitting the battlefield. Of course I’m not saying there are tons of them..but you don’t need tons of them to make a pretty profit, there will be enough for both of us, and of course plenty of mundane gear to sell for profit if need be too.”

Looking around the crates Marrion would find what looked like well stored containers of wine. Why they were in the hallway was anyone’s guess but some of them did look like they were on the more expensive side, the kind that would be brought out for a celebration or if one had important guests over.

Miyu was able to receive the East Empire military grade spear from Marrion’s pass.

Izzy would actually have some luck herself, on the older guard who had looked more experience, his armor even a bit more ornate than the other one she’d find more East Empire coins but also what looked like a keyring.

Neo clocked it pretty quickly. “Wasn’t sure they’d be lax enough to have a senior guard carry that kinda stuff..but that makes things easier for us..” He’d smile toward Izzy, seemingly knowing what was taken somehow. It seemed as if he didn’t bother looking himself since he was sure others would.

They younger guard had less gold on him but he did have what looked like a handmade east empire dagger, with a lions head on the end. It could be worth something.

“It is true that I’m conventionally blind, I haven’t been able to see anything normally for a very long time, since I was a very young child actually, but I have different ways of telling what’s going on around me.” He’d confirm.

Neo listened quietly to What Miyu had to say, as well as to what Aren was saying, before the group would get to the turn and the set of stairs he was talking about. It looked like there were about five flights of stone stairs going down Ool staying with the group above.

Neo then looked back, "Expect high security down here…be prepared for fighting and or avoiding.soldiers..and possibly tools of the empire’s military.”

He said softly, before he gestured for them to follow and began to head down the stairs swiftly but quietly, using his Stealth E + quiet movement feature as well as energized, at the last set of stairs they’d come out into a short stone tile hallway and at the end was a thick metal door with a classical looking sculpted bullhead in the facade, .but thankfully despite how sturdy the door looked, there was a key hole to open the door.

He’d gesture for Izzy to go ahead and use the keyring keys, looking like he was taking a ready for action stance shortly thereafter

There was a somewhat muffled sound behind the door perhaps in the distance that sort of sounded like metal grinding against stone…
