"Oh my gosh, is that Tsukiyama? Her fashion sense is even worse than I thought!"

"Seriously! I can't believe she'd even go out in public like that!"

"If I were her, I would just die!"

Just her luck. The one weekend that Noriko decided to not spend in her room, she runs into the three meanest girls in her class. Thankfully, they hadn't directly confronted her yet but it was only a matter of time till they did. Noriko had to find a way to escape without looking like she was a puppy running with her tail between her legs. Even though she was a social outcast, she still needed to have some dignity.

Her luck might have finally been turning around when she passed a movie theater just as a huge group of people were leaving. Noriko quickly jumped in to blend with the crowd, hopefully getting the three girls off her trail. Just to be sure, the brunette didn't stop walking the same direction of the crowd until she made it across the street. Taking the chance to rush around the corner of a building, Noriko pressed her back against the wall and held her breath. There was no sound of clicking heels and obnoxious high-pitched voices drowning out the bustling city noises so it was safe to say that she finally lost them. Noriko let out a sigh but immediately squeaked when she felt a ding in her purse. Digging through the brown satchel, she pulled out her plain-looking cellphone and read the screen.

One new message.

Noriko raised an eyebrow at the notification. Her father was the only one who had her cell phone number and he barely contacted her. If he did have a reason to talk, he would have called instead of texted her. In the end, Noriko decided to open the message. The text only consisted of two lines.

Would you like to start?

Y/N

Just like she suspected, it was spam. Noriko felt her spirit deflate a little, having hoped that someone might have secretly gotten her cell phone number in hopes to make friends with her. Apparently that wasn't the case. Still, she was curious about the message and what it entailed. What exactly would be starting? A game? A race? An adventure? The possibilities were making Noriko so excited that she went ahead and replied back with a 'Y'. Besides, it wasn't like she had anything else planned for that day. Noriko was surprised to get the next message almost a second after she sent her reply. She quickly opened it and read the line of text.

Take the 3:15 Shibuya bound train from Ginza station.

Noriko glanced at the clock at the top of her screen and felt her heart leap from her chest. She only had 10 minutes till the train left and the subway was still seven blocks away. She prayed her flats would get her there in time as she hurried down the block towards Ginza station.

Blaze checked his phone.

He frowned as he started for his current residence, the Orimoto household. At fifteen, he was a little short for his age, but lean and muscular. His fiery red hair was neat, collected above the pair of goggles Izumi -- or, as he had taken to calling her, Zoe -- had gotten him as a welcome present. As he went inside, he examined the number... or lack thereof.

"Zoe-san!" he called. "Did one of your girl friends prank text me?"
