Raph looked at her, "I'm only going to outbthe answers I need and see what's going on, I'll come back Jackie I promise that." He would try and keep that promise with every fiber of his being, "Jackie I will come back to you no matter what I won't leave you forever." He put his arms around her and hugged her.

Jackie hugs Raphael back tightly clutching at his shirt. "I know you would try to come back. I just have this fear. If you leave you won't ever return. Its a silly fear I know. Just chalk it up with the nightmare I had and I'm terrified that this will be the last time I see you." She said honestly. She wouldn't bear that to happen. It would crush her.

"Shhhh it's alright Jackie I will come back to you," Raph kept his arms around her. Just to say that he was always with her no matter what happened, he knew Jackie didn't like this him going on his own that is. Still he rather have her here than with him and taking a chance of her getting killed.

"I know you wouldn't want me to go with you, so just for a while longer, just let me forget I know you're leaving." Jackie said placing her head on his chest frightened that indeed this would be the last time she'd have him in her arms, breathing. She didn't know how her father had coped with just her. But then again, Zacharias was a man of his word. If he promised his wife that he would raise and protect their daughter, he would until he no longer breathed.

Raph nodded, "I'll stay for awhile longer Jackie if that's what you want." He knew that's all she wanted from him was one more night, he could give that but after tonight he would leave. He just needed answers and to make sure no other assassin came after her again. He just could give her one more night that she wanted from him.

Jackie smiles up at Raph knowing that he was doing so just for her, which made the sadness she was feeling lessen if just a little bit. She places a kiss onto his cheek. "Thank you. It means a lot that you would do that for me." She says honestly. After he left, she wouldn't be leaving her house that often not feeling safe anymore in her home town. But she once more reminded herself to forget, so walked inside the house with him glad that lunch was about ready to be served.

Raph smiled, "Jackie I would do anything for you." He knew that was true, in the least they had gotten inside for lunch. He held her hand just enjoying the feel of it, he would come back to her no matter what the cost he would come back. Even if he had to kill other assassins he would do it just to come back.

Jackie raises an eyebrow and hums. "Its a good thing that you fell in love with me then. Most other girls would have enjoyed that power." She said keeping her hand in his until she had to be seated to set but was kept close to him which appeased her.
"What brought you here Raphael?" Zacharias asked him watching to make sure he wouldn't lie. He was good at detecting them. Near perfect but even he could fooled as posed when Jackie had given him that small white lie.

Raph looked at Jackie father,, he would only tell part truth not all of it. "I used to live on the streets, there wasn't really that many jobs for people to take back where I had lived, so I came here when I was offered a job as a blacksmith. The people around me always said I had a way of making weapons so I took the offer and came here sir."

"Hnn. That is a good thing you came here then. You are good at the weapon business." Zacharias said nodding his head. He had been a penniless street rat himself. Jackie was glad that his father took that. Sure it was the truth, but not the entire truth.

Soon lunch ended, Raph had a pair of clothes he had brought with him he put them in the room he would be staying in. He wondered if Jackie wanted him to sleep with her, he shook his head if she wanted him to she would ask him to sleep in her bed with her he knew that.

Jackie walked through the hallway searching for Raph stopping at his door gaining her courage. She then knocked at the door. "May I come in?" She asks shyly. She knew that this might be the last night she had with him and wanted to be by his side.

Raph heard the knock, "yah you can come in Jackie." He was just getting his extra clothes into the pack, the clothes he was going to wear already set out. He took off the shirt he was wearing and took off his boots, he had always liked being without a shirt when he was asleep.

Jackie walked into the room taking a breath. "May I stay here for the night? I want to stay by your side." She said blushing slightly. This was way forward of her but she didn't particularly care that much. Let others think what they may, she wanted to be by the man she loved.

A bright smile came onto Jackie's lips as she walked forward and places a kiss onto Raphael's cheek. "Thank you very much." She said happily. She had placed the knowledge that he was leaving in a far recess of her head to reflect on later, entwining her fingers with his enjoying just how much bigger his hands were to her own. And how warm he was.

Raph smiled, he couldn't resist. He bent down and kissed Jackie, still he was gentle even though his mind didn't want him to be. He put his free hand on her cheek, as he kissed her he felt good when he was around her all the time.

Jackie kisses Raph back, wrapping her free hand behind his head, happy. There was a warning in her head and she moved the both of them to the right. And just in time to avoid the arrow shattering the window and hitting where he had been not too long ago. She clung onto Raph as her racing heart from fear settled down, Henry coming inside quickly.
"Everything okay in here?" He asked seeing the arrow glad that no one was horribly hurt.

Raph looked at the window, he ran forward. Seeing the shooter, he grabbed a throwing knife he always kept on him and through the knife, it hid the shooter square in the shoulder. He watched as the shooter ran off, looking around outside making sure he didn't have any back up.
