Mmmmaybe this is a little weird. Maybe it isn't. Hell, I don't even know myself. But as the title says, I'm looking for a specific New Vegas RP. Specifically (getting a little redundant here, I see), one involving Mr. House himself. My inspiration comes from the (woefully few) fanfictions involving his relationship with Courier Six in whatever forms it may manifest. My request, then, is to find someone interested in playing Mr. House while I play the Courier... any gender for the Courier is fine.
In other words, this is a sort of 'Canon x OC' roleplay, except... not quite. Fallout is interesting like that, yes? :)
We don't necessarily have to retread/re-enact the game's plot, of course. I just think it's a great springboard to start from as it provides a perfect motivation to get the two characters together. Or we could set it after the events of the game... or even do a crossover. (I'm quite fond of the original Bioshock and even though I haven't done the deed myself I'm well aware of the House-related achievement that references a pivotal scene from the game. However, if we did a Bioshock crossover I don't want any story elements from Infinite/Burial at Sea touching it.)
The sky is the limit. I'm no stickler to canon as my best friend is always the 'what if', the alternate universe, the crossover. I just want to explore a relationship between these two characters. Romance is, of course, strictly optional.
If we were to put the sort of Courier I'd be playing into skills from the game, expect someone with a high Science, Energy Weapons, and Repair skill. Their backstory is up for discussion but I haven't played Fallout 3 so anything that ties into that is out of the question. (Not that I don't plan to in the future, of course. I can't see it capturing my heart in the same way the Mojave Wasteland has but more Fallout is still more Fallout...)
I prefer to RP in non-real-time, private spaces. PM and E-mail are prefered... I could do something with Google Docs as I see that is a thing now but I've never used it for RP before so I'd ask for a bit of patience on my partner's end. I don't give out my IM info and won't RP over anything real time.
I /think/ that covers everything, but I could be wrong. If I haven't scared everyone off by now, that is! Please PM me if you have any questions.
