I don't really know if she and Clara are connected...they're just "special" for the sake plot I think. I didn't think River's appearance in the Name of the Doctor (I think?) was necessary, nor did I think Clara should have been "saved" at the end since I questioned if it was real or if she'd fade away like the other bits of her had. *shrugs* It was too confusing or ambitious. I'm eager to see what Capaldi does though I'm not too happy that the regeneration cycle was restarted, I was kind of hoping this would be the last one but I understand why they wanted to keep it going. I assume the search for Gallifrey will be in the big grand scheme of things.

And btw, I'm almost done with this post for someone and then I'll get ours up. :3

What? Last regeneration? You can never end the Doctor. .Maybe stop the show for awhile (which I'd rather have before they run into the ground) but there must always be a way for it start back up again. :)
We shall see. Though Capaldi should be interesting. Not sure how the return of the Time Lords will play out (if that is good or not) but needless to say it should be a good season (fingers crossed).

There will always be a way for DW to continue but at the same time, I'd rather them take a break than start to go downhill, as you mentioned. And my friend and I were just talking about how DW has so much potential to explore and do good but that the latest seasons have been kind of "ehh.' I wasn't too fond of the 50th special kind of undoing or ruining what Eccelston had done, I know they said it would be forgotten but at the same time, it was just a bit iffy, cool but iffy.

Yeah - season 7 just wasn't as good as six. There was some good stuff in seven but after the whole buildup in seasons five and six, seven was ok.
I liked the fiftieth though the whole undoing past seven seasons of canon was iffy as you said but doable.
We'll see how long they run it.

Six was kind of painful for me as well, I don't know. Watching some of the old "new who" episodes just makes me sad and wistful. It's a good show but I miss the charm that the 1-3 seasons had. It had more wonder and less 'omg romance omg complicated plots' and stuff.

Yes. I was thinking when I was looking at a few plot ideas for our RP that a lot of Eleven episodes were tied into the grande scheme of things and would be difficult for us to do as we are not doing the overall arch (or were not planning on it). But then again, how everything tied in together was pretty cool.

Well some of Eleven's episodes weren't connected, some were filler which were the ones we picked I think. Even so, with our new roles it's not hard to tweak them like we did with Nine and Jen with the Weeping Angels. Or Ten and Summer with them landing in the middle ages. It's always possible to improvise and stuff.

I probably won't. XD Well not yet. We're still getting our feet wet all over again. I'll try to recap as much as I can, though the order may be off.

True. And that actually might be interesting taking an episode used in a multiple arc and making it a single episode instead. It will be Fantastic! We can make it more creative and slowly come up with our own stuff. :)

Don't worry to much about the order or exact replica of last posting. We can go off whatever you do and just assume that is how it went.

Yes, we can do whatever we want, should the mood strike us. We'll just need to be careful so we're both on the same page, should we want to make alterations. Oh Nine. <3 Videos help, though I made a ton of DW graphics over the holidays to amuse myself. I even bought a DW novel where Nine and Rose go to an alien planet (her first) and get trapped into slavery. It gave me feeeels. Ahem. Nine's a sass bucket of fluff, deep down. :3 And Ten was good to have back in the 50th but I didn't like how they wrote him. Oh well, it'll be nice to get back to the developments we had for the pairs. They were making such progress.

I also recall we wanted to have Nine take Jen someplace nice after she meets with her ex. And I'm sure some snow shananagins are in order for Ten and Summer. :3

Yeah we'll have to plan it real well before we actually implement it. Ooo a book. I actually haven't read any of the novelizations of DW. I take it that it was very good?
Fluff? Fluff? No he's not. ;) Oh well. I guess in a sense. He is actually seemed to offer more mercy than Tennant. (e.g. Nesting Consciousness vs. Empress of the Racnoss).
We did have some good progress and development. Yeah getting back into it should be fun. :)

Somewhere nice huh? So before we head to "Dalek" we do something like "Rings of Akhaten"? Especially as we have Dalek double planned. :D

Update: I was thinking that Summer's mother would be a waitress at the little inn. She shows up after their current waitress had a family emergency.

I didn't bring in the mom yet as I had written a lot so far. We can either bring her in right away or wait a bit - give them a little time to discuss the past few events and build up the relationship.

That's a good point, yeah. I meant snow shananagins in our current episode. Ya know, snowball fights and the like. But we could try a Christmas Carol down the line, though Jen needs a lil christmas fun too.

That would work. Technically, most people won't invite perfect strangers but then again as seen in the episode "Father's Day", as Summer is related, the mom might trust her (though she might not completely understanding why) and invite them.
Either that or she is inviting just anyone. It all depends on where we take the personality.
