Beaurmont releases a snarl but keeps his composure. "I don't want to hear preaching from a monster. I don't count elves as monsters, unlike you beasts they keep to themselves and don't harm others. Let me ask if you, if monsters are so peaceful why have they been killing and causing terror to all of the many races in Agladia?"

They are ghouls created by the Monster Lord to carry out his deeds. The other monsters of the world have nothing to do with them. Did you not notice how the goblins did not follow you? It is because they dissipated. There was no longer a reason for them to exist, therefore they merely ceased to exist."

Beaurmont's anger keeps rising, his composure is now nearly gone as he angrily flails his fist in the air. "I care not what those damn things were, but I'll have you know THOSE bastards aren't what I'm talking about. It WAS monsters who slaughtered families, I've traveled to many towns and villages across this land. Large creatures stomped through and crushed homes and then ate the citizens who simply begged for their lives. You have no right to protect them!"

Beaurmont begins a retort but suddenly a pain in his side prevents him from speaking. "Curses, my side. If only I wasn't such a...weak man...I could slay you in the name of my brotherhood." He doubles over and kneels onto the ground weakly.

Beaurmont sits silent, his honor has been crushed and refuses to speak. Hagrad on the other hand begins to yell angrily. "Oi, what's this about curin' me?"

"I'm the strongest monster alive. I have the best magic and physical capabilities in the world. NO ONE can compare to me! Of course I can cure you. Some whore witch's curse is mere child's play for me." The Monster Lord aims his hand at the chair and his eyes flash intensely. A strange, blinding light surrounds the talking chair, and pieces of wood explode from the light. When the light vanishes, a semi-large human figure is standing where the chair was. "HA! See?! NOTHING!"

A bit perplexed and angry at the same time, Beaurmont raises his head once again at the Monster Lord. "Why release him from his curse, why do you want to help creature?" Is all he can get out before succumbing to pain again.

"It's getting quite irritating to talk to you while you're constantly groaning in pain every other word. Here, how about this? I'll give you a little bit of healing, and you stop your infernal attacking." The Monster Lord once again flashes his eyes, and Beaurmont's wounds are instantly healed. "My goal is not to attack nor kill you. Just allow me to travel with you, and I shall tell you my intentions when the midget awakens. Now someone please get the naked man something to wear. No one wishes to be blinded, and we don't want the midget to be knocked out again with that thing swinging around."

Surprised by the sudden soothing feeling in his side, Beaurmont slowly gets up. He checks his body for any more aches and pains, but comes to the conclusion that he is nearly at 100% again. Tightening his fist, he reluctantly puts his rapier away and begins walking to the now naked Hagrad. "You know, the 'midget' has a name. It's Gilrumm creature, do well to remember that."

"And I take no orders from a monster, I see no reason for my staying here any longer." Beaurmont begins to walk in another direction. Hagrad stands there naked, happily identifying his returned body. With a huge grin on his face he lets out a low gruff of approval. Hagrad stops and turns toward Beaurmont and grabs his shoulder, laughing heartily. "Friend! Must you leave just when it was beginning to get good? Our journey is far from over, I still need to retrieve my blade from that damnable witch. Also...if you really must go...do you have any spare clothes?"

Beaurmont stops for a moment and contemplates his situation. He looks over at the apparent Monster Lord and stares at him dead in the eyes. The ML doesn't look away, staring back with a grin on his face. "Fine. But keep your distant creature, I still don't fully trust you."

Hagrad pulls Beaurmont into a huddle and whispers "Beaurmont we may need this creatures help, you've seen what he's capable of. He freed me of my curse and healed you with no sweat of his own brow." Beaurmont takes a second of silence to contemplate what hes saying. "Beaurmont consider this: he'll be a better ally than an enemy. I have no doubt he could kill all a' us if he so de'ired" Hagrad stares at Beaurmont for a response.

While his hatred for the creature still burns with a passion within him, he realizes that perhaps it would be best to listen to his friends words. There is no point in angrily swinging his blade at a creature in leagues above him. His death will come...but not now. "Fine...if you will trust him Hagrad, I will...loosen up. But I will not listen to his orders, I am my own man." Beaurmont says swiftly, walking over to Gilrumm's unconscious body.
