I am very much interested in The Dragond Rider plot. Seems like an awesome idea and I'd do that one with you if you would have me.
As a disclosure I have to say that I am on a busy schedule due to me being in the Finnish Defence Forces so it's just not possible for me to reply everyday.

Sure, do you want to be a boy or a girl merperson?
So in this humans know about there being merpeople, but think of them in the way some people think of sharks (if you get my meaning). Merpeople do not really come to the surface very often, it's kind of an unwritten taboo, but of course there would be some curious merpeople ;)

A girl, I think. If that's alright. And that sounds really interesting. Maybe merpeople have similar ideas/fears about humans, which is why there's this taboo.
