Shadow had jack by the throat, "your weak you know that." Jack turned shadows hand to ice, "no your the idiot shadow." He fought back against shadow, trying to gain ground till shadows hand shot out and grabbed Jack's hair and punching him in his stomach, the air was knocked out of him as he sank down to his knees. Shadow grabbed a knife by the time shadow was done he was bleeding from several different places when shadow left.

Elsa was making her way to the docks but something made her stop and Anna noticed. "Elsa?" She aksed and Elsa looked at Anna. "Anna I need to find Jack please stall for as long as you can please." Elsa said as she picked up her dress and ran off to find Jack. "Elsa wiat!" Anna yelled but ELsa had already started running looking for Jack. "Jack....Jack where are you?!" She yelled as she ran as fast as he left could take her as she looked for Jack. She then made a snow bunny and hade it lead her to Jack for she hoped that it would be attracted to Jacks powers.

Jack was groaning in pain, bleeding on the ground. He hurt badly, he was lying on his side still that didn't take the pain away from him. He thought he saw a snow bunny coming toward him, till his vision turned all fuzzy on him. Then the darkness surrounding him took him he was still breathing, but they were shallow breathe.

Elsa gasped when she saw Jack on the ground bleeding and ran over to him. "Jack!" She said looking at him and saw how much he had been bleeding. "Oh my I need to have the palace doctors take a look at you.: She said trying to think of a way to transport him and now wished Kristoff was here to help move him since she knew she could not do it. Thankfully Anna came running while dragging Kristoff and gasped when she saw Jack. "Anna we need to get him to the palace for the doctors to look at him now before anyone sees him like this." Elsa said and Anna nodded in agreement. "Kristoff think you can carry him back to the palace?" Anna asked him.

Krisstoff nodded, he tried to be as careful as he could when he picked jack up. A groan of pain escaped him, as he was carried back to the palace, once the doctors saw him in as bad as shape as he was they pointed krisstoff to a bed where he laid jack down so they could take care of him.

Elsa and Anna followed Kristoff back to the palace and Elsa hoped that Jack will ok. Once there she watched the doctors do their thing but she was worried about Jacks staff for he was protective of it and he had good reason too. "Elsa we have to get to the lighting ceremony everyone is waiting for it to begin." Anna said and Elsa nodded in agreement. "Kristoff can you stay with Jack please until we get back I don't want him alone and make sure no one takes his staff." Elsa explained to him before heading out with Anna but looking back at Jack one last time before heading to the docks with her sister.

Krisstoff nodded, as he sat in a chair btw jacks bed, "well looks like we need to find this guy before he kills you huh jack?" He said to himself since jack was still out cold from the attack. He watched them bandage up jack, they left jacks hoodie and shirt off so that the bandages wouldn't be so tight.

Elsa and Anna were at the lighting ceremony and soon let the little boats in the water and watched them sail off into the night as their lights shined brightly as the slowly went out father to sea and got dimmer little by little. Once it was over everyone headed home for the rest of the night for it was getting late and Elsa along with her sister headed back to the palace to check on Kristoff and Jack. Once they made it to the room they walked in. "Hey Kristoff how is Jack doing?" Elsa asked as she walked over toy Jack and to his hand into her hand.

Krisstoff looked up to see Elsa, his arms crossed over his chest. "Still no change jack hasn't came still, no one will go near him since for some reason ice or snow come out of no where and keep them back you Anna and me are the only ones that it won't do anything to."

"Maybe its because Jack only trust us." Anna suggested and Elsa got a feeling that might be it. "I think you are right Anna because Jack knows we will not hurt him or try to take his staff from him." Elsa said to them and Anna nodded in agreement with her older sister. Elsa held Jack's hand wanting him to know she was there and nothing to worry about for him. "If I see this shadow he is getting ice in his heart." Elsa said mad for she did not understand how anyone could do this to Jack.

Krisstoff looked at Elsa a little surprised, he knew Elsa cared for her sister deeply now he wondered why she cared for jack this deeply. He just kept the words to himself deep in thought for the moment, this shadow person was fast if he was able to get to jack this quickly.

Elsa did not know what to do since Jack was in critical condition for the time being. Soon Anna yawned loudly and Elsa laughed. "Kristoff mind taking Anna to bed I would like to stay here with Jack a little longer." She said to him as Anna rubbed her eyes trying to keep them open and was about to open her mouth and protest. "Anna I know what you are going to say and you are going to bed you look like you are about to pass out any second." Elsa said and Anna pouted a little just making Elsa laugh a little.

Elsa thanked Kristoff and sat in the chair that he was in waiting for Jack to wake up but ended up closing her eyes while siting in the chair. She she had no clue that Jack was awake finally even though she wished that she was awake to see him. But after a few minutes of jack waking up she stirred enough in her sleep that it woke her up because she almost fell over. She rubbed her eyes and looked to see him awake. "Jack you are awake." She said as she looked at him and was happy to see him awake.

Jack looked at her and smiled, he squeezed her hand. "How long have I been out?" He wanted to know how much time has passed, he had to make sure shadow isn't to close to the palace if he is then he can get inside pretty easily without warning the guards to his presence.

"You were out for quiet some time the festival has been over for over an hour." She explained to him and smiled at him. "Just get some rest you were really injured and gave my palace doctors a hard time healing you." She said to him as she kept her hand in his hand not wanting to let go of it. "You really scared me when we found you bleeding on the ground." She said to him.

Jack nodded, "I didn't mean to scare you looks like shadow got the best of me then, but I will try my best at keeping myself and you safe." Once he finished the sentence he fell asleep still tired from the fight he had with shadow.

Elsa smiled at what he said and when he fell asleep. "Sleep well Jack." She said and kissed his cheek as she stayed in the char and fell asleep again while holding his hand. As she slept she did wonder what got shadow to do this in the first place but she knew she had to let the guards know to keep their eyes out for this shadow creature not only for Jack's sake but for Arendelles sake.

The same nightmare played over in his head, of his sister and him skating on the ice. He always had this nightmare in his head, it would never go away it would always haunt him. He bolted forward gasping for breath and he winced, he forgot about his wounds while he was sleeping.

Elsa jolted a little when she felt Jack wake up all of a sudden since she was still holding his hand. "Huh Jack what is wrong?" She asked worried and moved to sit on the edge of the bed and placed her hand his back. "Are you ok do you need anything?" She asked him wanting to make sure he was ok for whatever scared him caused him to forget he had injuries.
