Princess Aurora was sat on her horse looking around at the guards that were on foot as well as horse back. It was getting dark and they were in the woods she was content, she enjoyed being out in the dark. She felt more one with nature. She looked around behind her and noticed her 'Special body guard' she didn't like him much it always felt that he was peering into her soul, it unnerved her a little. However she always felt more safe with him than anyone else. She made eye contact and quickly looked away blushing ever so slightly. There was something about him that was so interesting yet scary at the same time. There were howling of wolves in the distance. The guards decided it best to camp out for the night. They made the Princess's tent and she got off her horse and made her way inside, she waited while everyone was asleep and she poked her head out of her tent, the guard who was on watch at her door had nodded off. She smiled and quietly made her way out and snook past him. She wandered off into the darkness, to explore. She had only ever explored the castle grounds before so she relished in new places.

The guard had noticed her and Sighing went after her "you know your not so post to be out here" said slow his voice low yet wise. His bat flew through the air landing on the guards shoulder. The dog stood beside the guard growling deeply at the princess and then sneezed and sat down. The guard had deep thick black hair with sharp golden eyes,skin pale as a ghost. The awaited the princess answer standing three feet behind her.

She froze when she heard his voice, she hadn't heard a single footstep to indicate he was following her. She turned and looked up at him, "Oh! Sir Gabriel! You startled me!" She said rather flustered looking away from his intense stare that always seemed to make her blush. "I was just exploring, you needn't follow me." She said smiling up at him sincerely. "And you didn't have to bring your ...bat and your dog along too.." she added looking nervously at the dog that was previously growling at her. She gave a polite curtsy and made her way off deeper into the forest.

"Now now princess you know your not allowed out without anyone there watching her" he said fallowing her easily he wasn't going to leave and it was impossible to make him leave. He walked after her his dog fallowed at his heel his bat sat there slowly on his shoulder. The bar flew into the air swiftly and flew above them. The vampire watched her with deep orange eyes glowing eyes watching her soul,veins and other things of her heart beat as well. He knew she hated being sold off and then hears a crackle and eyes widen grabbing her and yanked her just as a trap went off. He growled gently "now mind going back to the group before you get killed?" Asked darkly looking around taking out a dagger ready to fight, the princes would hear tons of cackling and laughing thrown in the wind as nine bandits came from each side of the commander grinning weapons drawn.

Her eyes widened as she was pulled and saved. "I-I'm not leaving you!" She stammered to him. She couldn't leave him alone, nine against one was far too unfair. She was quite a good shot with her bow and arrow, unfortunately she didn't think she would need them and left them in her tent. She was taught basic self defence from her father, he knew she wandered off alone a lot and as much as he hated it he wanted her to be able to protect herself. Just as she was getting back to her feet her dress snagged on a branch causing her to fall over. She stuck her hand out in attempts to break her fall. She ended up cutting her arm deeply on a jagged broken tree stump. She hissed at the pain as she looked down at her hand which was now covered in her virgin, pure blood. it was dripping continuously with no sign of stopping. She quickly got to her feet and held her hand tightly to try and slow her bleeding.

Gabriel snarled at the rouges that attacked harshly, swords clashed and people where thrown across the forest harshly, he snapped someone's knee and punched a guy in the nose, the dog jumped into action biting into a rouges arm and tore at him, before long the rouges screamed and ran off in fear. Gabriel smelled blood and nearly vomited at the smell of virgin blood, he swore he never drink again. He turned and kept himself calm and tore off fabric of his cloak and wrapped it around her hand firmly "come on" he quickly got her back to the camp his dog barked sharply at the guard and it jolted awake. Gabriel gets some med stuff he had "sit" he said firmly to the princess.

She blinked up at him a little shocked with his firmness but she sat as instructed and held out her hand for him. She watched him closely and noticed that his eyes seemed to glow a little while he stared at her bloody hand. "That was impressive, what you did back there, thank you " She said softly feeling rather ashamed of herself for letting herself get into such a mess and having to drag others along into it. She was impressed with the strength he displayed back there, they way he threw them around and beat them, nine of them, and it looked like it wasn't hard for him to do it either, he wasn't even panting when he had finished. As though it was second nature. He was now a very curious person to her and she wanted to get to know him more. Her blood was seeping through the scrap of his cloak he had bound her hand with and was beginning to drip once again onto the ground. Such a waste of good blood.

The vampire grit his teeth and smiled gently "sorry about all that but I swore protection to the royal family. I have a lot of fighting training, now keep pressure to the wound" he said as he gets out some water and washed the blood away, he hated wasting such good blood but he couldn't risk it right now not ever really. He started working on helping that wound close. He got some of the skin close together and started wrapping it it up sharply, but careful not to cause too much pain after he was done he sighed "you need rest and please while we are on this trip don't wander off alone please" he mutters gently getting up.

Aurora blushed a little as he said 'please' and she nodded "Okay, I promise" she said softly smiling at him gently. She didn't know why but suddenly he wasn't scary any more. She knew she just HAD to find out more about this man who had just saved her life and patched her wound up. As she got to her feet she gave him a light peck on the cheek to say thank you. She looked at him curiously once she pulled away "You're icy cold" she said softly. She noticed his hands were cold but it was a cold night, and he could have bad blood circulation. His face was so cold though there is no way it was that cold. She looked up at this mysterious man with such curiosity. She gave him another smiled before turning and making her way to her tent where she laid down on her make up bed. She slowly drifted off to sleep, with her last thoughts of Sir Gabriel.

Gabriel looked at her when she said he was cold. He wasn't effected by it but smiles gently when she kissed gia cheek. He went to patrol his dog fallowed swiftly at his heels. He needed blood so he ran off and found a rouge and attacked bitting and draining his blood dry.

The next morning she arose groggily. She sat up and stretched her arms in the air. She got up and walked out of her tent where one of the guards was preparing breakfast for everyone. She wandered around looking for Sir Gabriel, wondering where he might be.

Gabriel washed his face of blood grummbled slightly. He smiles walked back to the camp site looking at everyone. He sat down in the shade a large cut on his face causing pain but kept it hidden from them. He pets his dogs head gently.

Once she found him she wandered over and smiled to him kindly "Hello, Sir Gabriel." she said softly "I just wanted to thank you again from last night, if I was alone I would have surly been killed or taken" She admitted. "How are you this morning?" She questioned, wondering why he was sat in the shade as it was such a lovely sunny day.

The male looked over slowly and smiled gently "it was no problem princess" he reassured her gently and sat down on the ground slowly. he pets the large dogs head and it barked slightly and laid down beside him calmly. He closed his eyes gently "so how is your hanbd?" he asked opening his eyes once more, he stood up, as long as his heart was not bare in the sun he could walk in the sunlight, it would weaken his power but he could still very much fight still.

She held her hand out to him to show him. The rags were bloody, but the bleeding had stopped for now. "It's not bleeding anymore" She said happily. "I hope it doesn't get infected" she said, worry lacing her words. If it were to get infected they would have to amputate if if got bad. She looked up at him and noticed a scratch on his face and it looked painful. She reached up with her wounded hand, the bandages were covered in her drying blood, she gently touched his cheek to inspect his wound more. "What happened?" She asked worried, because he didn't get that from saving her last night. So it had to have happened after.

"I got into a fight with a rouge that wanted me dead while on patrol" said slowly looking at the princess, he winced when she touched it "owch please don't touch" he said slowly looking at the sky around them "Now we must keep moving please" he said and whistled as his large black horse galloped from the shadows and he got the horse tacked up "go get something to eat , breakfast is done" he said he wasn't hungry for human food it provided him with very little fill of his stomach and it had no taste anymore to him. Which he did miss a lot but he had to live with it now. he tacked up the large black horse that snorted, its mane thick black hair, it almost seemed like a shadow.

She nodded and made her way over to the main part of camp. She got something to eat, it wasn't much as they couldn't pack too much for their trip in case of wild animals attacking for the food. Once she had finished eating and the guards had packed up she got on her horses back and began walking along with the group. She kept looking around at Sir Gabriel as she was a little worried about him.

After what felt like an age they finally got to the road that was just outside the kingdoms gates. It was a busy town, she smiled, she loved the market place. The guards were very cautious of people as many of them turned to watch the princess ride past. Her long platinum hair cascaded down around her framing her features beautifully. She had the cloak of her hood down as it was a nice warm sunny day. She smiled around at the civilians as they looked up at her in awe. She and her guards made their way to the castle gates where they were let in by the kings guard.

Once inside the gates she unmounted and walked up to the castle doors, the majority of her guard were no relieved of duty do go and rest up of the journey home they had. She was greeted by the King, Queen and the Prince she was to marry. She didn't like the look of him at all. He looked arrogant and cocky. Like he would eventually run her kingdom to be into the ground.

Prince Jack looked at this girl sure she was pretty but he wished for more then that "I guess you'll do" said darkly stareing at her. Gabriel eyes narrowed at his words to the princess "watch your tounge boy" he warned arms crossed eyes deep shade of golden and lips in a frown. The warriors backed away slightly at the prince growled "watch your mouth knight I can have you beheaded for such talk" he said lowly. The knights eyes glow slightly "no different then my past" he cackled.

Aurora frowned heavily at the Prince she was to marry. "No! Absolutely not! Not in any way will I marry this man!" she declared folding her arms. "and dont you dare talk to Sir Gabriel in such a manner either! You are pig headed an rude, there is no way I will let a man like you rule over my Kingdom" She scolded the prince. "Gabriel, I wish to leave, this man is not worthy of my time" She glared at the prince before turning to Gabriel "Can we please leave as soon as possible? I don't want to be here anymore" she asked Sir Gabriel with a soft kind voice. She looked rather unhappy and she felt miserable.

Gabriel blinked but nodded his head to the princess "as you wish" he said walking out to the group and gets ready to fight. Suddenly the prince rushed him with a sword. Gabriel whirled around and took his sword out. Lashed out a large fight erupted and it ended with Gabriel getting stabbed right in the heart. He rasped dropping to his knees blood flowing from the wound. He collasped on the ground.
