A silent shadow lowered itself over the edge of her rooftop, slipping in through an open window. He stopped without a sound when the knife came to his throat, and smiled under his hood. "Good to see you haven't lost your edge." As he pushed back his hood, Grey backed away from the knife. "I think you probably know why I'm here." He said, pulling a roll of blueprints from his bag. "I need your help Aria."

She stared at him, holding the blade between them two. So frustrated that he would ever think it'd be safe to show his face to her again, and now he was asking her for help. He had a death wish. "I am not helping you." She snapped back at him, placing the blade back in to the side of her thigh. "You're an idiot sometimes." She mumbled. She was done, exiled from where he came from, and she had no desire on going back or helping the person who was so lucky in to keeping his place while she practically had to flee.

"Come on, Aria, it's a good job." He said, putting the blueprints down on the table. "It's so big, even, that helping me crack it would get you back into the guild." He chose not to mention that it was technically his decision whether or not to let her back in, feeling that letting her know about his new title was just asking for trouble. "Are you really just going to turn me down like that before you even see the prints?"

"I don't want to go back!" Her voice was strong but she wasn't yelling yet. Her fists became tight as she pictured running them along the side of his jaw and straight against his nose. "What do you not get Grey?" She paused and stared at him, he should know why she didn't want to return. She was practically scum to the men who worked above her, sometimes even Grey would treat her lower. "Show me." She gave in, yet her mind was still made up. "I am not going to help you."

Gray unrolled the blueprints and fixed the corners in place with whatever heavy objects were on the table. "We're going after Ryan Dosmer with this one, I'm sure you've been following him on the news. He became a billionare over night by finding that critical flaw in Pate's security cameras that we used to exploit and reinventing the whole system. We decided to get him back for that by robbing him blind, but the man is paranoid in the extreme. The only time we can even get close to him is when he's out of state on a business trip." He pointed to the blueprints, which were outlines for a fancy hotel. "Dosmer stays in a penthouse suite, and that's where he keeps the important stuff, the specs for his new cameras. We're going to get in there and copy them so we stay two steps ahead."

She shrugged her shoulders and crossed her arms. "Then do it." She stopped leaning against the wall and disappeared in to the one condo to look out the window. "That should be easy, you have enough men to do it, so do it. Stop wasting my time and get out." She said bluntly as the street lights of the city flickered in her astonishing view for such a cheap place to be living.

Gray sighed and leaned against the table. "It's not that simple. We need to do the job without anybody KNOWING we did the job, and like I said the man is paranoid. I don't need good, I need the best, and however much people told you otherwise that's you." He sighed and scratched the back of his head. "There's four weeks until the job. If I can convince you by then everything's dandy, you can come back with me and live in the lap of luxury again. If I can't I won't bother you again and you can get back to... this." He waved his hand around the room. "Can you at least give me that?"

She hated where she was now, but it was much better than being stepped on and downgraded when it was obvious no one could touch her on the field, she was a woman and that's what made her dangerous. "I will not pretend to be your pet, do you understand?" She turned and solidly looked him in the eye. "I will be treated equal if not better." She walked towards the table. "If you do that, then I will go. But don't expect me to stay, if I say I am out, I'm out. You cannot follow me after that."

"I never meant to treat you the way I did." he said quietly. "I thought you knew that. You were the best partner I ever had." He rolled up the blueprints and spoke in a normal voice again. "It'll just be you and me on this one, any more and we might attract attention. I can get you a list of aliases if you want or you can use your own, I'll let you decide on our cover. I've prebooked a room two floors below the penthouse, since Mr. Dosmer has booked every room on the floor below." As he put the roll back into his pack, he looked at Aria again. "I really am glad to have you with me on this one Aria. It'll be just like old times, when we were still fresh to the guild."

She watched him closely, not knowing if she should believe his words since his last few promotions had him skyrocketing in the industry they were both put in. He was intelligent and a smooth talker who could get himself out of anything and in to anything, she became envious quickly and soon distrusted every inch of his body. She stopped and placed her hand on her hip. "I am guessing it's a one bed, suite at the Solamar hotel? That's where he's been staying." She shrugged, "and I've been keeping my eye on him so I so happened to look in to what rooms were available." She sighed and went in to her closet. "I'll need far nicer clothes if we are going to be staying there. You'll have to play as a high roller in order for us to fit in, and I'll be your..." She looked at him calmly. "You're oh so beautiful gold digging bitch." She winked back at him. "Just hope I'm not the type to date rape drug you and kill you in your sleep." Her hostility wasn't normal but she no longer had walls up, she had castles, empires blocking anyone from coming close to her.

"Don't worry," He said with a grin, "I remember how to count cards." he started moving backwards towards the window he had come in from. "53.3363 by 10.2341 minus 20.3 by 100.552, when the bluebird sings. See you then. I'll just show myself out." It was an easy enough code, the first part being a simple map problem revealing the coordinates of a nearby park and the second part meaning 'at dawn'. By the time she had figured it out though he had already fallen backwards out of the window and was halfway down the street three stories below.

She went to open her mouth, but he was already gone out of the window and she secretly wished he didn't land it but she knew he would. She sighed and began to pack, she had 5 hours to get herself together before meeting up with him again. 'Johnson's park off of Saints' She thought to herself as she packed her toilet trees and undergarments, she paused. Putting everything back, she'd make them pay for all of her expenses toothbrush and all. She sat at the edge of her bed and shoved her hands in to her face. "What the hell are you doing Aria?" She grumbled.
