Jacob held her, "I'm not going anywhere anytime soon Elliot, I promise alright." He kept his arms around her, as her body shook against his, he wouldn't leave Elliot alone he would always be there for her. "I was dying that day till they got me back here, they found matching robot arms and legs and put me into surgery quickly. By the time they were done I was stable again."

Elliot calmed down slightly in his arms. Whimpering and sniffling more than sobbing. She looked up at him then around the medical wing that was filled with people. She wiped her eyes, "C-can we go back... back to my r-room?"

She rested her head on his shoulder, she didn't want to be crying in front of all of these people. Kissing him would be just as embarrassing. She felt like it might be easier to calm down in her room. Maybe she could ask him more questions.

Jacob nodded, and stood up with her in his arms. He started walking through the halls toward Elliot's room, he knew she didn't want to be around a lot of people when she was crying. They got to her room, he set her down on her bed, and laid down next to her.

Elliot was grateful when he picked her up and carried her out of the room. Her head still sure so she wasn't positive that she'd be able to get there on her own.

She sighed lightly when he placed her on her bed and climbed in next to her. She moved and placed her head next to him again and gave him a small smile, "How d-did we meet?"

Jacob thought for a moment, "we met the day of your parents funeral, my parents were great friends with yours so we attended the funeral. I bumped into you by accident, we talked for awhile till my parents said it was time to go. It was just a few months before the revolt."

Elliot smiled softly, "Strange place... to start to fall in love."

She curled up to him and wiped her tears away, trying to calm down further, "What was... y-your favourite thing about me?"

Elliot was pulling Savannah through a bunch of robot manned carnival games, "Come on, Sav!"

"Why do you want to do this? You know that all these games are rigged so that you can't win. Why bother playing?" She asked annoyed as she followed behind. Elliot laughed, "Because it is so much more satisfying when you win."

They got to her favourite games, the ring toss when she heard someone scream. She turned around to see a robot burst out of the game stall and attack the human. She turned around to face the one in the stall at the ring toss and froze as it moved toward her. Savannah was already backing away, "Elliot..."

She turned and ran, grabbing Savannah's hand. She grabbed her phone and called Jacob, "Jacob! Robots.... they're... I don't know... something's wrong!"

Jacob smiled at that question, " probably your stubbornness you wouldn't back down from anything as long as your mind was made up. No matter how much people tried to get you to change your mind, but you wouldn't."

jacob had ran to his fathers room and grabbed his gun, shot the robot that was on his dad. He checked for a pulse. Nothing. He took a deep breath to calm himself down, his phone rang he heard Elliot on the other end. "I know Ellie i already know.....my dad.....he's dead," he shook his head to calm himself.

Jacob grabbed the keys to his dads truck, "get to the entrance Ellie I'll meet you there alright." Once the call ended he got in the truck and started it. Heading for the carnival he tore off down the street at high speeds.

Elliot laughed slightly, "And you liked that? Does that mean you'll be getting a haircut?" She teased before she gave him a kiss, "Because my mind is made up that you really need one."

Elliot was happy she had told Jacob where they were going earlier. Saved having to explain where they were. She hung up the phone. She'd make comment about his father when they weren't in danger of being ripped apart by a robot. She made it to the entrance with Savannah as soon as Jacob pulled up. She sigh relieved and smiled, "Get in the back," She told her sister, who looked confused but did as told.

Elliot ran over to the front driver's side door and opened it. She looked at Jacob, "Move to the passenger's side... Now! I'm not letting you drive not after...." She quieted, "We'll talk about it later, just move."

She was stubborn and wasn't going to let them leave with him driving. When he moved, she climbed in and took off in the truck. Savannah was in the back seat calling Marcus.

Jacob laughed, "I said I would get it cut by someone else when I had the time. Alright and I'll get it done when I have the time to do so. Right now I don't thing you want me to go anywhere at least not yet anyway."

Jacob called Kyle let him know what had happened to there father, Kyle was just as hurt about this as Jacob is. He looked out the window, thinking about all the times he and his father went to the shooting range. Now glad that his father had taught him how to use a gun." He let out a sigh and shook his head, his phone rang. "Jacob" Kyle was on the other end Jacobs eyes widened "no way are you coming back here Kyle yah I know the revolt is spreading to other cities but your not coming here." A groan was lat out, "fine Kyle fine you can come back to Chicago, but you better be ready for what your about to see when you get here."

Elliot sighed and curled up against him, "Why do you have to be right?"

She wanted to stay there like this. Him holding her against him. Being completely comfortable, all her worries fading. She sniffled and kissed his neck, "Why do you love me?"

Elliot was grateful that her parents had never been rich enough to buy a robot to drive the car. This way, she learnt how to drive and could drive while Jacob got the chance to mourn. She wasn't fully sure why he was the first person she called when the attack started. There were other people she could have called... But she called Jacob, didn't even think about it. She laughed quietly at herself before looking at him for a moment, "Where should we go?"

Jacob laughed, "because you were the one that saved my life once, and also that you always backed me up on things I'm right wow that's a first on anything." He put his arms around her, to give her as much comfort as he could.

jacob looked at the smoke rising into the sky in different part of the city, he thought back to the place he once knew when he was a kid. "There's a place that my dad used to own." His voice cracked, but no tears came he had to first get them to safety before he could think about his father. "It's at the edge of town by the river it's a house it's still up for sale so no one is there."

Elliot laughed, "You were always wrong? Then what did I always back you on things?" she teased. She pursed her lips, "Is that the only reason you loved me, because I saved you and agreed with you once or twice?"

Other parts of their relationship seemed romantic. This... Not so much.

Elliot nodded and pushed her foot onto the gas pedal speeding down the street. She reached across the way and grabbed Jacob's hand. She smiled but didn't look at him. Savannah leaned forward, "What's the address? I'll tell Marcus to meet us there."

Elliot glanced at Jacob, "You should tell Kyle too."

She dropped his hand as she returned it to the steering wheel, swerving around a car that was stopped in the middle of the road. She continued on, her eyes focused on the car in front of them. As well as trying to lose an robot chauffeurs that hijacked their cars and were following.

Jacob smiled, "I don't really know how to put that question in words kinda hard at times to do that." He chuckled at it, "I'm not really that good of a guy with words I do better with actions than words really."

Jacob thought of the address, "1783 charleston road." He looked behind them, to see cars following them. Then he remebered today him and his dad were supposed to go to the shooting range which meant, he rolled down the window and climbed out, glad for the strong grip he climbed to the back end and got the m16 out from the black chest back there.

Jacob loaded the gun and aimed for the wheels, he shot popping both front wheels. The car behind them ended up flipping upside down blocking the path of the others. "Robot bastards," he mumbled under his breath.

Elliot smiled and nodded, "I suppose," She felt better. The crying had stopped. She felt as though it was easier to get over what she saw knowing that Jacob had in fact survived. She wondered how long she cried at the facility... When she thought he was dead. She wondered if she was grateful when they told her they were going to erase her memories, just so she didn't have to live on remembering her dead boyfriend. She rested her chin on his chest so that she could look at him, "How long were we going out for?"

[I]Elliot looked at Jacob when he rolled down the window and took off his seat belt, "Jacob... What are you doing?"

As he climbed out she screamed after him, "Jacob!" She was going a good thirty miles over the speed limit. If he fell off, he'd be dead... She slowed down and watched in the rear view mirror as he climbed into the truck bed and pulled out a gun and started shooting. Her body tensed as she quickly made her way to the house. When they got there. She stopped the car and jumped out. She looked at Jacob, "What the hell were you thinking?!"

[i] Jacob only nodded, tears were sliding down his face. He didn't move from Elliot's arms, "I knew....I wouldn't.....break down.....as long....as I didn't think.....of him." His body was still shaking, but otherwise he didn't move from Elliot's arms.
