Well I mean money that isn't used for living expenses or buying games.

Like money you all can afford to spend on Items and junk. Eventually you will all have a way to procure weapons as well.

A surplus of ¥280000 = £1650
Assuming you pay, say... £450 rent and about £200 on everything else, that's £2300 a month or around $3800.
£2300 X 12 = £27600 or $45700 per annum, post tax.
Assuming the average tax rate is 30%, then £35880 or just under $60000, pre tax.

Holy shit... I assume IT careers are... well paid outside the UK..?

We are going to say here that living expense/game money does not count in this case, mainly cause that stuff is important.

You guys also forget that houses are expensive in Japan, as are apartments. This is Japan, not America. Shits expensive.

Ah. Well, that works with what I worked out. Yuuko would end up with about ¥30000 or about £175.
¥60000 seems reasonable for rent on a one-bedroom apartment; it's about £350.

Remember, this dude's a genius. The only reason he didn't finish school early was because he chose to do COMP-SCI electives. And, in all respects, if you were to truly use your time perfectly, it sounds sort of plausible to land a similar job.

Plus if you ask me that seems like way too much money to start off with XD

30,000 Yen is reasonable in my opinion, since Yuuko is a working adult.

Not really. He's 19, he doesn't have enough experience that someone would hire him for this type of job, or this type of salary.

Assuming that he gets paid at the 10th percentile (the lowest 10 percent of recorded US webmaster wage) that's ~ 49 thousand yearly. Take away bill money. 153022.09 Yen, monthly.

Well...lets not say he is a webmaster. He can still be a programmer, but a webmaster is a bit much for someone who hasn't gone to college and is only 19
