"Thank you very much, please come again."

One sentence, seven words, nine syllables, thirty one letters, and three point four seconds of her life, all wasted on a phrase she's been saying every single day for the past two hundred years. Oh, but it wasent a problem really, it was just too familiar. It was too ordinary coming from the mouth of a girl who was anything but.

Breena Orla followed the last person out of her bakery, flower shop hybrid of a buisness, and flipped the rectangular 'open' sign to 'closed'. As she walked down the quiet streets of the outskirts of the city she lived in, she thought about how much joy she got, living in this world...so much happiness she got seeing so many happy humans.... So why did she feel so much pain? This was what she wanted, THIS was what she had begged for all those years back home. And it was everything she had imagined it would be. So...why was there always this feeling of not being whole. This feeling of not being wanted...

The feeling that in a world of seven billion, she was all alone.

Lucas was walking down the street, wandering aimlessly about. Even though he appeared to be a normal boy, he was really a powerful demon that has lived for millennia. Every century or so, he would assume a different form and live among the humans, taking pleasure in living a seemingly normal life and blending in. Every once in a while, he would let loose and go on a killing spree to mix things up, but he was good for now, and it always forced him to change his form and start anew. For now, he was content in just wandering around.

" thanks Tyrone..." he with a little. By god, carson was woren out." By the why,im going to use that spell book once my shift is done. " he said. Tyrone nodded." Dont go blowing nothing up! Those spells are pretty advance." He laughed. Carson chuckled and smirked." I wont, dont worry. " he went to deliver the food to the table

Elle wandered and paced back and forth behind the counter, waiting for people to walk in. Usually with her luck, there would be a rush of people coming in in about ten minutes, about five minutes before the end of her shift.
Staring mindlessly at the clock every other second, she sighed. Another shift another hour of coffee, another end to 5 hours on her feet. Then to go home and study for her classes. Nothing new, nothing interesting, but always busy and absorbed. Which was good, she thought.
The bell rang, and she looked up with a smile, pushing her glasses up and flipping her loose blonde strands back.
"Hi there, what can I get for you today?"

Lucas decided he wanted somthing to drink, so he headed to the nearby Starbucks and was greeted by a cheerful and cute girl behind the counter. "Hey there." he said, smiling. "Can I get a Double Chocolaty Chip Frappaccino with whipped cream?"

Wolf strolled down the street breathing heavily. Anger balled up in his chest, he had just returned from a customer who went far too far and he had a lecture in half an hour that he just wasn't willing to go to. After slipping a pair of sunglasses on to hide his furious red eye's he ran aimlessly into the outskirts of town. He was so unbelievably pissed, the air around him was stiff and he gave off murderous vibe, all the passer-by's avoided him as he streaked through the streets with his un-natural speed. He was so focused on getting away that he didn't notice people in front of him and successfully threw at least ten people off there feet.

He ran and ran until it was too much and he collapsed to the floor and punched the wall to some bakery angrily, his fist left a dent in the side and he had barley a scratch on it. He leaned his head into the dent and concentrated on his fast paced breathing...

Flint looked to the café. Small and secluded not much really.
He spotted a older man with a heavy moustache and began to look intently.
Flint had his camera around his neck, its large lens could zoom far away which is why he had brought it. He sat at the other end of the street, making sure the suspect wouldn't spot him. The man he was watching walked over to a table and looked to his watch. Who was he meeting? That was what Flint was here to find out.
He drank his coffee and soon realised he had run out. "Will have to get some later..." he muttered to himself as a young woman entered the Café.
Flint took the cap off his camera lens. He aimed down the view finder and, just as expected, saw the woman walk towards the older man. They exchanged pleasantries then sat down.
Flint was taking pictures the whole time and soon had captured them talking, holding hands and even kissing.
"This was enough evidence for my client." Flint thought as he placed the cap back on his camera. "Mrs Jackson is going to be very unpleased... as are all my clients who ask me to follow their husbands." He thought as he packed his camera away then began to walk home.
"Well another case solved.." Flint sighed, if it wasn't a wife scared for her marriage, it was a lost pet or over controlling father. Where was the action, the missing children the murders the suspense of being a 'real' detective. Is wasn't exactly how he planned it but he still enjoyed what he did... he just wished sometimes he could get a better case..
He passed a Starbucks and soon realised he needed some coffee down him. He had never been to the place and hoped he would just be able to ask for a coffee without having to get all confusing.
He walked inside and stood in the queue.

Breena hadn't gotten far, barely to the end of the street, beore she heard the light ringing of the doorbell on her bakery. She stopped walking, listening. It was quiet, likely no one else walking all wrapped up in their cell phones and thoughts had heard the sound, but she did. There was no wind, no puff of air that could have moved the bell precisely at the same time she had heard it. Finally, her curiosity getting the best of her, she turned around to see what had caused it, her sea blue eyes searching the area.

It was a boy....man? Whatever, it was male from what she could tell from that distance, leaning his head against the wall of her small shop. She slowly started walking towards him and as she got closer, his aura was giving off one that was filled with rage. Stopping a few steps away from him, she licked her lips before speaking.

"You appear to be upset...and i wish you had not chosen to take your anger out on my shop." she said, then she smiled. "I just closed, however should you wish to come inside, i believe i have just the thing to help you calm down." she offered. He seemed different, though she didnt know the guy, and jumping to conclusions was just not her style.

Ashlyn waited patiently for her food, her jet-black cat ears tucked gently under her snapcap. She heard footsteps a few meters away and turned her head, her gaze meeting a boy's. He placed the food on the table for her. "Mmm....Thanks! Uh..." She scanned his outfit for a name- nothing. This was awkward, but she stayed cool.

Chantelle walked in and smelt the smell of coffee etc and sighed, luckily she was able to eat and drink human products after years of training, but never smelt as good as blood. Walking to the counter, she waited and peered around, spotting the humans and then the other races. They all smelt different, it was their telltale sign.

" your welcome ma'am. Let me know if you need anything else. " he gave her a pretty smile and heard Tyrone's voice again. " order up!" He shouted. He started to demand orders to the cook. Carson wiped his forehead and grabbed the next tray

"Absolutely, it'll just take a minute. What would the name for that be?" And Number? She thought. He was pretty cute. Interesting, but cute. She searched for the marker and a cup, fumbling around a bit, but coming up smiling.
"Anything else for you today?"

She blushed, and although aware of the line forming, she wasn't passing this up. She had to have fun right? She needed the adventure. Well, maybe this wasn't an adventure, but is was out of the ordinary at least.
"Not for a little bit sadly." She said., smiling. "Your drink will appear on the counter over there when its ready. That'll be $4.67"

Wolf glanced to the shop owner and carefully adjusted his glasses. Had he not been so irritated he would have felt the unusual vibe that wafted around the lady. After some time he nodded in agreement to her suggestion not speaking for fear that his voice would come out gruff and demonic. He pulled himself to his feet and whispered an apology for the damaged hoping he didn't sound odd. The click of a lock sounded and Wolf dragged himself inside still burning with fury. He glanced round the shop and was slightly comforted by the calm atmosphere. He noted the strange merchandise and breathed in the strange pollinated bakery smell. He followed the girl through the shop and waited for her to speak

Breena led him inside, placing her purse and jacket on the coat rack. She rolled up her sleeves and turned to him. "If you like, you may put your jacket here." she said pointing to it. "If not, you can follow me back to the kitchen." she gave a reassuring smile as she walked off towards the back. She slowed midway, passing a plant that was wilting and she brushed her hand against it absently and it immediately perked back up, healthy as ever.

Walking to the back, she pressed bake on her large oven and turned it to 375 degrees farenheight. "Do you like sweet things or would you prefer something with little sugar?" she asked him. Her demeanor was calm as she grabbed a few basic ingredients: flour, sugar, salt to name a few, and she waited for him to answer.

Wolf hugged his Jacket tighter and scooted towards the kitchen. He was calmer than before but he was sure his eyes were still red and he wasn't going to risk it
"Sugar's good" He forced a smile. He watched as she bustled calmly round the kitchen.
"I'm Wolf..." He prompted unsure of what to do. The smile was still plastered on his face as he strolled round the kitchen. His mind went back to the man he had been with earlier and his hand raised to his neck, he hoped the girl wouldn't notice the red hand marks or hickey's. As a part demon he was naturally stronger than most but he couldn't use his strength often because his features changed slightly so he had to regulate it constantly which was a pain considering the situations he often found himself in. His hand hovered over his neck before naturally moving his glasses again.

Breena nodded when he OK'd something sweet. She instantly knew what she was going to make. Lemon and Lavender cookies, they were fresh with the lemon, and lavender had special properties that naturally calmed someone down. Pausing to look at him she said "My name is Breena. Nice to meet you...Wolf. Is that the name you were born with?" she asked curiously. Her voice was calm and soothing, naturally, and she hoped maybe it would allow him to relax more. He seemed a bit nervous, or jumpy.

Disregarding it, she instructed him to wash his hands. She intended to show him how to make the cookies, so maybe when he felt like this again, he would have something to do. Getting the lemons, lavender, eggs and a few bowls, she wondered why she had even bothered helping someone she didnt know. It was a curse, always wanting to help people, but it brought her such joy. Maybe it was selfish, she didn't know really. She could have used a spell to calm him, but she didnt want to give her secret away just yet, so she would simply help him in a different way.

Drawing her blonde curly mass of hair back into a ponytail, she washed her hands too, looking at Wolf. "Alright, let me show you something. The Earth has so many different plants, and minerals that can be used to heal many different things. Many countries use plants and herbs and fruits to heal and make medicines. Lavender has a quality that helps calm the mind. I myself use it often, in shampoo and soaps." she smiled then "Though i dont think you would want to smell like a flower all day, there is a cookie that i can show you how to make, and you kind of get the same effect. What do you say? Want to try?"

"Gotcha...." Flynn whispered, pulling the bow string to his lip before letting it go. There were two arrows in it, neither had tips on them but simply a string between them connecting them. They flew and wrapped around the man running away from Flynn before he tripped over and fell on the ground. He was helplessly grabbing at the string when Flynn stood over him and put his boot on the mans neck.

"I think you have something that isn't yours..."

Flynn reached down into the man's pocket and grabbed a small changepurse. There couldn't have been $5 in it. He then cut the man loose and he ran off in a panic. Flynn walked back to the tent village. There was a young girl amongst the homeless. Flynn handed the purse to the girl and put his hood back on his head. He bent down on one knee and looked the girl in the eyes and said "You know how to get ahold of me." then winked. The girl practically shouted "THANKS FLY...." but before she could get the sentence out he put a finger over his mouth and said "Shh..."

He was a bit of a celebrity amongst the poor in the city. He didn't like to draw attention to himself. He jumped on top of a fire escape of a close by building and then climbed his way to the top before running off as if he were never there.
