Jäger was busy walking down the allyways, he normally did this everyday to avoid contact with humans. At this moment he was in his dog form, just wandering around during the day light in this form. He preferred this form around human activity so he wouldn't let his ears or tail as an Inu be shown.

Ib hurried down the street, eyes on her feet. A beanie adorned her head, hiding her cat ears while her tail was curled around her waist under her shirt. She darted down an alleyway, which was the quickest way back to the small shack she called her home.

Jäger's ears perked up, as he saw a girl running down the allyways. Catching a wife I her scent she smelt a bit human and a bit...cat? Was she a cat person? On instinct he perked up and started to bark, chasing after her, trying to figure out where she got the car scent from. He did this with everybody with an animal scent, he found animals more comforting than humans.

Ib froze, turning to face the dog. Her cat instincts kicked in and she gave a soft hiss before bolting down the alleyway, leaping agilely over a fence. Well, trying to- her shirt snagged at the top and she squeaked as she hung there helplessly, kicking her legs uselessly.

Did she hiss? Jäger continued to chase her until she came across the fence. He saw her dangling and wanted to help her out but he didn't want her to see him transform. Maybe if he did it real quick? He decided I head I to another allyway and came back in a few seconds as a young man, "Let me help you!" Jäger said

Ib felt her ears flatten to her head under the beanie and she gave him a cautiously, wondering why the dog went. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew the hat off her head and away. The neko cried out and tried to grab it but she was still stuck on the fence and she was unable to grab it. She shot the boy a look of fear as she quickly tried to cover her cat ears with her hands.

Jäger had a surprised look on his face as he helped her down from the fence, "You...you have animal ears!" Jäger said rather enthusiastically, being happy she had her point cat ears. He stared at her ears and touched them, curious if they were real.

Arabella flinched as he helped her off the fence, staring up at him with wide eyes. They widened even further when he touched her ears. "Nya!" She squeaked, hiding them again as she blushed. "T-They're sensitive." She stammered.

"And you Nya! Oh my gosh this is awesome!" Jäger said as he had his hands over his head and walked around trying to calm down from his excitement

Ib watched the boy pace back and forth with wide eyes. Her ears were flattened against her head and she was tensed in preparation to bolt and get away from the crazy boy.

He took off the hat he had in his human form and showed her his floppy dog ears, "See? I'm part animal too!" Jäger said happily;

Ib blinked, a surprised look crossing her face. She slowly crept forward and gently poked an ear, just to make sure it was really. She then curiously sniffed him, now able to detect the faint scent of dog.

Jäger chuckled as she sniffed for a scent, "I'm part animal look," he smiled as he pulled out his tail from his pants, and it began to wag back and forth, "See?"

Ib blinked again as her ears twitched curiously. "I-I thought I was t-the only one left." She whispered, glancing up at him and brushing her bangs out of her eyes.

"I thought I was the only one of my kind as well!" Jäger said, "What's you name?" He asked excitedly. Part of it was his dog like nature and that e was happy to see another hybrid.

Ib gave him a shy and timid smile as one of her ears twitched. "I-Ib." She said softly.

"My name is Jäger," Jäger introduced, "So...how did you earn the name Ib? Its a very curious name," he said as he sniffed her scent.

"I-I named myself. T-There's a painting called Ib at the Art Gallery and I liked the name so..." She shrugged, looking down.

"You don't have a family? No parents?" He asked, "I've never heard of someone naming themself,"

Ib shrugged again. "I was abandoned when I was little. I stayed in my cat form and a family took me in and took care of me. When I got old enough I left and have been on my own ever since."
