Loki Laufeyson Malefison

The saga's titular protagonist, Loki is the Jotun-Faerie prince of the Moorland, the adopted son of Harmonia, the proclaimed godfather of Princess Silena, and the life-companion of Eric Odinson. Also known as the "Fairest of Them All", Loki was most renowned for his leading role in defeating the corrupted Asgardian King Thor, and the evil Corvid sorceress Ravenna, with his courage and innate purity.
Eric Odinson

Eric, often called 'The Huntsman', was the original Half-Asgardian, Half-Jotun son of the Allfather, and the Frost Giantess, Jord. The saga's deuteragonist, Eric is a former warrior of Queen Freya's army, and a close companion of Loki Malefison, whom he aided in defeating the Corvid sorceress Ravenna. The identical twin of the Asgardian deity, Thor, and the seventh royal descendant of Buri, Eric was also the foster son of the Light ElvenKing Thranduil, and the uncle of Princess Silena.
Silena Thordottir (Odinson)

Princess Silena, or just simply 'Silena', was the royal Asgardian daughter of King Thor Odinson and Queen Sif. As the saga's second deuteragonist, Silena played the part as the niece of Eric the Huntsman, as well as the proclaimed goddaughter of Loki Malefison, whom she aided in defeating her father, as well as the evil sorceress, Ravenna.
Queen Freya

Freya, mostly renowned to as 'The Ice Queen', is a powerful cryo-sorceress, as well as one of the saga's antagonists and anti-heroines. The third-born daughter of an unknown mother, Freya was the younger sister of the Corvid sorceress Ravenna, and the usurping ruler of Alfheim.
Ravenna

Ravenna, also known as 'The Evil Queen', was a dangerously powerful Corvid witch, who appears as one of the primary antagonists in the saga. Being the arch-nemesis of Loki Malefison, she is the eldest sibling of Finn and Freya, and also the widow of King Balder Odinson. Originally, due to her great physical beauty, Ravenna was regarded as being the "Fairest of Them All", but after learning that Loki surpassed her as "fairest", Ravenna becomes determined in consuming his heart, in order to maintain her power and eternal youth.

The original biological son of the ruling Frost Giants, Laufey and Fárbauti, of Jotunheim, Loki was born in the middle of the war between the Asgardians and the Frost Giants. After being heavily criticized by his father, who believed his misshapen birth caused the death of his mate, Loki was abandoned as an infant, and was left alone to die on the realm of Asgard. Eventually found by the Moorland's guardian faerie, Maleficent, Loki was taken in as a foster child to be protected from the Asgardians, as his Jotun appearance was altered into resembling a Faerie, with a pale complexion and luminous green eyes. Treated as a prince of the forest, while never being informed of his true heritage, Loki, in order to not feel different among the Faeries, was educated on the art of sorcery, the responsibilities of a protector, and a few other lessons, while being heir to the forest's throne. However, in the end, he chose to remain a prince, rather than a king.
Raised in an idyllic, sheltered lifestyle under Maleficent's wing, Loki was groomed to show deep compassion, elegance, determination, and an element of properness upon his being. Ever since he was a child, he was extremely devoted to the peaceful nature of his homeland, and as long as he lived, Loki was very inclined on keeping its society, as well as his family, protected at all costs. As "Fairest", he was most notable for his physical and emotional beauty, possessing an inner and outer loveliness that was enough to surpass others with great vanity, and for his age, despite his poised image, Loki is truly a spirited, mischievous individual by nature, having to spend most of his time playing games to amuse himself. As much as he loves doing so, he respects and enjoys the company of other races. Loki also proves himself to be a strong-willed, charismatic person with natural leadership qualities. During events of warfare, he intelligently used authority to take control of certain armies, and when the time came, he wasn't afraid of a fight nor was he willing to surrender easily in one. Even though he is usually calm most of the time, whenever he is pushed or forced, Loki will have no qualms on ruthlessly hurting the enemy, whether or not in retaliation. When it came to his own personal beliefs, Loki suffers from a devastating betrayal, committed by the man he once strongly cared about, resulting him to have a distrusting view to the image of love and romance. Even though he finally found love for himself later on, he still remains emotionally and spiritually affected, leading up to his development of a slight split-personality; in other words, "a shadow of his former self". This side of Loki makes him much more dangerous than he originally is: his green eyes would shift to blue, slight discoloration would form under his eyes, and he's much more sardonic and hostile when acting out in bitterness. Despite this behavior, he still retains his elegant mannerisms.
POWERS
• Frost Giant/Faerie Physiology:
Despite being born as a misshapen, humanoid Jotun from the Giant race, Loki possesses similar attributes to those possessed by the race of Men (Asgardians, Vanirs, Valkyries). Also, after being enchanted to physically look like a Faerie, Loki also possessed the attributes of the Elves (Lights, Darks, Faeries). Since his current Faerie appearance is an illusion, his true Jotun form could only appear in contact with conditions suitable for Frost Giants, like exposure to the extreme cold. His only physical weakness, however, is heat, since Frost Giants can't function nor survive in environments of high temperature. The slightest contact of heat to his skin can burn him, to the point that it could, in prolonged exposure, drastically weaken him.
~ Superhuman Strength -
Loki, without the aid of anything, through his own biology, possesses superhuman strength that is substantially superior to an average human. He has overpowered strong individuals with seemingly no effort, and sometimes, his strength can actually match other various beings, except for those bigger than himself.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed -
Loki is shown to have immense agility and reflexes while performing swift, agile movements. However, due to possessing the Faeries' cousin physiology to the Elves, Loki possesses far greater levels of agility and reflexes than any other race.
~ Healing Factor -
Like all beings in the Nine Realms, Loki can still obtain injury and even death. However, unlike the races of Men, Corvids, Dwarves, Ainur, and Faeries, due to his Frost Giant physiology, Loki is incapable of possessing a metabolism for body repair, therefore he can't fully recover from his injuries at a fast pace. But through the use of his sorcery, Loki's ability to heal himself can only be at a slow pace.
~ Longevity -
Like all beings, Loki ages at a far slower rate than humans. However, like Corvids, the Ainur, and the Elves, due to his Faerie physiology, Loki stopped physically aging when reaching adulthood, keeping the appearance and vitality of a young man in his physical prime, even though he is several millennia old. This ability does not make Men, Dwarves, or Giants immune to the effects of aging.
~ Cold Immunity -
Due to his Frost Giant physiology, Loki is cold-blooded, meaning that his body can withstand and adapt in conditions of very low temperature. This points to the fact that he does not even require any specific clothing to protect himself.
• Cryokinesis:
As a Frost Giant in biology, Loki can naturally manipulate the elements of ice and snow in forms of frost, icicles, or spikes, almost becoming as powerful as Freya the Ice Queen. However, unlike her, due to his lack of practice, he is not quite as advanced, nor can he conjure this element freely; due to his natural Jotun physiology, he can only create these forms out of the water particles within a cold, or humid atmosphere.
~ Ice Attacks -
Loki can generate a frigid blast of cold air upon his victims or certain objects, either partially or entirely, freezing them at an absolute zero. He can summon a larger scale of this ability, mainly when he shows the strongest of his emotions; only once, he was able to conjure a trail of spiked ice on the ground.
~ Cryokinetic Constructs -
Loki can form bladed weaponry, particularly knives or daggers, out of the ice, generated from his own body at will. However, this ability requires lots of mental and spiritual energy.
~ Frostbite -
Loki can inflict frostbite on any part of a person's body through physical touch, where it would painfully freeze their flesh, and cause an almost-permanent swelling.
• Sorcery:
Loki learned how to wield the magic of the Faeries while growing up in the Moorland forest of Asgard, where he was educated by Maleficent, his adoptive mother and classified descendent. Overtime, Loki eventually became a skilled sorcerer, nearly becoming as powerful as her, while possessing an arsenal of mystical abilities for a variety of purposes. For all of his abilities, all of them were magic-based, rather than element-based. As the effectiveness remained strong, he was certainly not ready to use advanced magic for his age. With his magic, Loki can do the following abilities:
~ Aura/Energy Manipulation -
Being a sharing trait from Maleficent, Loki has the ability to generate, project, and manipulate his own green aura for magical and spiritual purposes, either in the forms of wisp, or fire. Since the aura is connected to him spiritually, Loki tends to also generate it when showing the strongest of feelings. For example, when he was enraged, Loki unleashed a green seismic blast from his body, sending it heavenward.
~ Metamorphosis -
Loki could transmogrify other objects or people into whatever form he desires. With a wave of his fingers, he was able to change his attire, and turn the shapeshifter Diaval into other animals, much to his chagrin.
~ Telekinesis -
Loki can influence the movement of objects, people, animals, etc. with his mind by performing certain movements with his hands. As such, this power proves to be devastating and chaotic in nature whenever he is angered or frustrated.
~ Atmokinesis -
Loki was able to control the weather to some extent. When he showed anger after the death of Maleficent, he seems to make dark clouds cover the land of the Moors. Only once has he ever used this ability, since it never happened later on.
~ Agrokinesis -
Loki is able to create and manipulate certain plants, like his ability to move tree branches for supporting purposes, and his ability to grow and manipulate a wall of thorns as a defensive tactic. However, it is beyond his power to heal, or even repair, plant life.
~ Sleeping Charm -
With a blow to his victim's face, Loki can magically cause people to temporarily lose consciousness, and seemingly fall naturally asleep. Their sleeping forms would either hover in the air by a couple of feet above the ground, or just cripple on the spot. The spell can either wear off on its own, or when Loki allows it to.
~ Healing Aura -
With his magical aura, Loki can restore and cure damaged beings and animals through physical touch upon their wounds. Being on the basic level of this ability, he can only heal minor cuts, bruises, burns, and sometimes, critical wounds, like those caused by minor impalement. However, for these, it would require a lot of his own spiritual energy, as well as leave a permanent scar upon the patient.
~ Enchantment -
Through his foster mother, and his studies, Loki can change and control events through magical influence upon his victims. When he was king of the Moors, he was able to enchant an eternal sleeping curse on Princess Silena during her christening, and also enchant a transformation spell upon her womb, in order for her newborn child to appear as she wanted it to be.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Expert Combatant:
Loki, though not seen practicing very often, is still unpredictably skilled in both armed and unarmed combat during battle situations. Even though he was far more interested in sorcery than warrior arts, he uses offensive, defensive, and strategic maneuvers to hold his own against several opponents with ease, and occasionally defeat the far superior.
• Weapons Master:
To add to his experience in close-quartered combat, Loki has adapted in using bladed weaponry, particularly to that of daggers, spears, and swords, whether or not they are on his person. As a note, when using his throwing knives, he rarely misses.
• Arcane Lore Expert:
For being educated by his adoptive mother, Loki holds great knowledge of the mystic arts, enough for him to skillfully wield and manipulate the elements of his surroundings. Also, for growing up within the borders of the Moors, Loki has also gained extensive, thorough knowledge of many supernatural creatures.
• War Strategist:
While not a natural genius, Loki is still highly intelligent, nonetheless. From his experience in guarding the borders of his home, Loki has vastly evolved in knowing the ways of battle strategy, giving him the advantage to see and exploit flaws in enemy formations, especially while he's leading and controlling certain armies.

At the age of two, Eric's biological father gave him up (since he was mostly favoring his eldest son), and at the request of his mother, Eric was to be fostered in Alfheim by King Thranduil. While being trained by the Elves at twelve years old, Eric was a prized student, until Freya the Ice Queen forced the young boy into her amassing army of abducted children from the villages of Men, and become trained in combat as her personal huntsmen. For centuries until adulthood, Eric loyally and mandatorily served the Ice Queen, while becoming involved in many wars throughout the cosmos, by allowing her to conquer and expand her kingdom. When he fell in love with Sara, another fellow warrior in the legion, they secretly married, until their forbidden romance was discovered by Freya, who punished them after breaking her one rule: forever harden your hearts to love, banishing him to the realm of Asgard, after killing Sara in the process.
Due to spending most of his childhood with the Light Elves, Eric is, by heart, a brave, good-moralled man. A loyal-born defender of the weak, he believes in his duty to protect those he strongly cares about; as one of his most genuine fears, Eric is afraid of becoming the cause of devastation if he fails to do so. If any harm does come to them, Eric can truly become enraged, and unleash an aggressive prowess upon the enemy. Instead of being supposedly cold and ruthless from his obligated Huntsmen training, Eric's retained trait of inner strength helped him ultimately hold onto his compassion, wisdom, and knowledge under a humble exterior. On his good side, Eric shows an amount of charm, confidence, thoughtfulness, and a good sense of humor, to which he retains even when faced with danger. He also holds an occasional wise temperament when recalling about the different tales of Nine Realms, as well as the abilities that enemies boast. However, due to the terrible losses and hardships Eric has faced during his youth, especially after losing his wife, Sara, the only person he has ever come to love, he has hardened into becoming cynical and bitter. During his years of depression, Eric was on a death wish, tearing himself away from his positive values, to the point of becoming uncaring and rough-edged on his well-being, to say the least. However, like Loki's experience with Silena, Eric's inner values changed when he met Loki: he became more positive and hopeful again, due to the influence that inspired him to not give up on his life. His time as a hunter allowed him to become more cautious and aware of his surroundings, while using things around him to improvise. When adapting to these surroundings, his behavior can miraculously blend into it.
POWERS
• Frost Giant/Asgardian Physiology:
As the second born of Odin the Allfather, Eric is, physically, a powerful man, possessing a number of superhuman attributes that are common among the race of Men, namely strength, speed, stamina, and reflexes. However, as he was conceived by both an Asgardian and a Frost Giant, some of these attributes make him more developed than a vast majority of his kind, like his resistance to the extreme cold.
~ Superhuman Strength -
As an Asgardian, and a son of Odin, Eric's incredible superhuman strength enables him to overpower various individuals and take on multiple enemies around him. Using his weapons in combat, his strength is compounded, as he is able to swing and throw with great speed and force.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed -
Eric's agility, balance, and bodily coordination make him a great warrior in battle, moving with incredible grace and speed, despite his size and body density. Plus, his perfection in close-quartered combat has kept him at a peak level of fitness for his body co-ordination and reflexes.
~ Healing Factor -
Like every being in the Nine Realms, it is still possible to injure, and even kill Eric. From receiving small cuts, burns, and bruises on several occasions, Eric's half-Asgardian metabolism allows him to fully heal these wounds, but at a much slower rate, due to his half-Jotun heritage.
~ Longevity -
Like all beings in the Nine Realms, Eric is extremely long-lived, while physically aging far, far slower, even though he is known to be over one-thousand years old. For being born in the race of Men and Giant, Eric can still suffer from the effects of aging, unlike the Elves, Corvids, and the Ainur.
~ Cold Immunity -
Due to his half-Jotun physiology, Eric is cold-blooded, meaning that his body can withstand and adapt in extremely low temperatures. This points to the fact that he does not even require any specific clothing to protect himself.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Trilingual:
With centuries of practice and study, Eric can fluently speak and understand the language of the elves: Sindarin (Welsh) and Quenya (Finnish).
• Expert Combatant:
Throughout his youth, Eric has been superbly trained in mastering several arts of close-quartered combat, both armed and unharmed, by several teachers: the Light Elves, and eventually, Freya's army. Truly skilled he was, Eric could hold his own in fighting, and defeat several enemies with ease, to the point of occasionally defeating the far superior.
• Weapons Master:
To add to his mastery in close-quartered combat, Eric has adapted in using bladed weaponry, like axes, knives, and swords, during battle situations, whether or not they are on his person. As a note, when throwing or shooting these weapons at his targets, he rarely misses.
• Expert Hunter and Tracker:
After being trained by Freya the Ice Queen into becoming a Huntsman throughout his youth, Eric has evolved into becoming one of the Nine Realms' best hunters. Possessing astonishing tracking abilities with vast hunting experience, he knows many special hunting methods, and can pickup his prey's trail with minor details in an area.

At her christening as an infant, Silena was cursed out of vengeance by the sorcerer Loki, as King Thor's punishment for his committed betrayal against him. Although she would grow peacefully in grace and beauty, her unfortunate destiny was to fall into a sleep-like death, after pricking her finger upon a spindle at the end of her sixteenth birthday, while having the non-existent kiss of True Love being the only antidote. For her own safety, under the order of her father, Silena was neglected from the lifestyle of royalty, and was raised in the peasant-life on the outskirts of the kingdom, until the day after her birthday. Over the next sixteen years, while she was in need of proper care, Loki hesitantly, but reluctantly, took care of and watched over her in secret, thus for Silena to believe that he was her fairy godfather. From her time with him in the Moorland forest, she grew to respect and platonically love him as a father-figure, causing Loki to emotionally soften from his inner bitterness, and show mutual affection towards her. Once she fell under the curse, Loki gave her a goodbye kiss on the forehead, and miraculously rose Silena from her death-sleep, realizing that their friendship was the strongest of True Love.
Silena was raised in a very idyllic, sheltered lifestyle, and according to Loki, since she was conceived by one of the greatest female warriors and its most powerful deity, she was known to possess "rare" beauty: her defiant father's golden hair, and her mother's warrior-like heart. Ever since Silena was a child, she was always outwardly brave, gentle, and sweet towards others. Slightly naive and carefree during her teenage years, Silena became very curious in exploring the wonders of her world, and she strongly held onto her own personal beliefs about it: she believed that Loki was her "Fairy Godfather" after she noticed his "shadow" watching her during her childhood, and after learning that her own father caused him great pain, she believed that Loki was never the real villain to begin with; she developed a strong emotional bond with him, which allowed her to see him as her best friend and father-figure. As she greatly values harmony, Silena disliked violence and conflict, but she knows that fighting is only necessary to protect herself and others. However, while she served Hades, her good morals began to shift into psychological change, where she started to become delusional, while lapsing into total dementia, believing that she was "part of the crew, part of the ship". However, it was her love for her family that snapped her out of insanity.
POWERS
• Asgardian Physiology:
Conceived from her Asgardian parents, Silena possesses the superhuman physical attributes such as strength, speed, and reflexes that are common among the race of Men.
~ Superhuman Strength -
Born as an Asgardian, Silena is superhumanly strong and possesses greater physical strength than an average female, being able to kick and punch certain individuals away at a great distance. Her strength is compounded when using weapons during close-quartered combat.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed -
Silena was noted to move in high speeds by utilizing her superior agility and balance. Plus, her mastery in close-quartered combat has kept her at a high level of flexibility for her body co-ordination and reflexes.
~ Healing Factor -
Like all beings of the Nine Realms, Silena can still be injured and killed like any other. However, her body metabolism for minor injuries allows her to rapidly regenerate at a great speed.
~ Longevity -
Like all beings in the Nine Realms, Silena is extremely long-lived, while physically aging far, far slower, even though she is over one-thousand years old. For being born in the race of Men, Silena can still suffer from the effects of aging, unlike the Elves, Corvids, and the Ainur.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Expert Combatant:
Having to be trained by multiple teachers since childhood, Silena has received extensive training in the various arts of war, including armed and unarmed combat, enabling her to become one of the Nine's greatest female warriors. Making her only second to her mother, one of the fiercest, Silena is just about a threat to anyone, while using her slender, agile body density to take on several opponents.
• Weapons Master:
To add to her exceptional mastery in close-quartered combat, Silena has excelled on using swordsmanship as part of her fighting style. Widely feared and recognized for her primary weapon: two curved scimitars, her powerful swordsmanship in battle makes her known as 'one of the greatest female blade-wielders in the Nine Realms'.

Once a former mistress to Duke Andrew of Blackwood, before her powers manifested, Freya served as a constant companion to her scheming sister, Ravenna, during her kingdom-seizing conquests. During that time, upon discovery by Ravenna, she had an affair with Andrew, which resulted in her becoming a mother to a beautiful daughter. Tricked by Ravenna that she would be married in the gardens, Freya was unaware of being lured away from her daughter, and discovers her child's room set ablaze. Finding her baby dead, Freya becomes grief-stricken and unleashed her long-dormant power of cryokinesis upon Andrew, killing him, while being unaware that he was actually framed. Her agony caused her heart to go cold as ice with pale skin and white hair. Since then, Freya vowed that love will become a weakness to many.
Pretty much like her older sister, Ravenna, Freya was also a victim of tragic circumstance. Before her cryokinetic powers were unleashed, Freya was loving, kind, and optimistic, sharing a close, doted relationship with her sister. Given the apparent lack of objections she raised regarding Ravenna's ways, Freya was loyal and caring to her sister during her conquest of seizing kingdoms, and with the exception of her former fiancé, she truly did not care for others, who were not of her family bloodline. Since there was sorcery in the family, and because she was the youngest, Freya grew up dreaming about always wanting magic of her own. However, when it comes to the subject of love between the two sisters, Freya firmly believed that it could create surprising outcomes, while Ravenna believed it to be a lie and a weakness. But after the tragic death of her infant daughter, which led to the awakening of her powers, Freya became ruthless and emotionless, while believing love to be a sin, much of herself becoming another version of Ravenna. However, unlike her sister, she still retained some semblances of goodness, compassion, and sympathy within her, while showing praise towards her Huntsmen, not inclining to punish or hurt them, as long as they don't break her cardinal rule. Despite her habit of forcefully abducting young children, and making them her personal Huntsmen, Freya actually viewed herself of doing these children the ultimate favor, in the sense that their training would harden them to never know the pain of a broken heart. Implying this as delusional, this is yet a new similarity between the sisters, since Freya believed herself to be a kind, better ruler than any King.
POWERS
• Vanir/Corvid Physiology:
Freya was born from the race of Men, the Vanir, along with the rest of her siblings. Although she was inherited with physiology of a Corvid from her mother, Freya had no desire in practicing Dark Magic. Still, she has the attributes of a common Corvid, as well the attributes from the Race of Men.
~ Superhuman Strength -
Freya possesses a level of superhuman strength, both from her combined physiology as a Vanir and a Corvid, making her a bit stronger than all the races in the Nine Realms.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed -
Like Asgardians and Vanirs, Freya is shown to have immense agility and reflexes while performing swift and agile movements.
~ Healing Factor -
As a half-Corvid, and a half-Vanir being, Freya can still be injured and killed by strikes from solid weapons. However, she can still heal from minor injuries quickly. For not being a full-blooded Corvid, Freya can still be weakened from exposure to fire.
~ Longevity -
Even though she typically ages slowly as a Vanir, the spell her mother had casted upon her as a child, as well as her subconscious magic, has stalled her physical growth, making her far older than she looks.
• Cryokinesis:
Freya's long-dormant power triggered after her infant daughter was killed. Her special gift was the ability to manipulate ice and snow, including her ability to freeze water, create towers of ice spikes, and conjure walls of ice. Her only physical weakness was that of fire, coincidentally being both a weakness to herself as an ice-wielder, and a Corvid.
~ Ice Attacks -
Freya could hurl a barrage of ice at her enemies to trap or disable them. If it suited her however, Freya could freeze victims whole by summoning a trail of spiked ice upon them.
~ Cryokinetic Constructs -
With her ice powers, Freya has the strength to conjure thick walls of ice, and other ice structures. However, this required her to build up mental energy.
~ Cold Immunity -
For it to stem from her cryo-powers, and for her blood and heart to be at an absolute zero, Freya is a walking icicle: her skin is negative to the touch, and she is seen to be unaffected by freezing temperatures, proven that she wears revealing dresses with no ill effects to her skin from the cold.
• Sorcery:
Hypocritically, while having a paternal Corvid heritage, Freya didn't have any interest in practicing the Dark Arts, although she has, at some extent, some knowledge on casting certain magic.
~ Cryokinetic Illusions -
By simply touching a ice structure, Freya could easily create an illusion to trick the eyes of other individuals, if they ever look upon, or through the structure itself, in order for them to perceive things differently from what truly appears.
~ Telepathy -
Freya holds the psionic ability to read one's memories by accessing their mind. As she touched Ravenna's face, she was able to read her memories, to the point of discovering her sister being involved in her daughter's murder.
~ Consciousness Transferral -
By putting on an ice eye-mask shaped like owl feathers, Freya was able to project, or transfer, her own consciousness into the form of a white owl to spy on people.
~ Enchantment -
Freya holds the knowledge of casting certain spells upon her victims. She was able to cast a psionic protection spell upon Loki when she briefly treasured, and was able to make a psionic mind link between them, which was proven when Loki was able to see Ravenna's memories, once Freya gained access to her mind.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Arcane Lore Expert:
Freya was shown to have extensive, thorough knowledge of the Magic Mirror; she was able to read the foreign writings engraved around the Mirror, coupled with the legendary question, as well as know its strengths and weakness.

Born an unspecified number of centuries ago, by being half-Corvid, Ravenna is far older than she looks. Conceived from the Vanir, Boreas, and an unknown Corvid mother, Ravenna was raised in a small village within the realm of Valhalla with her mother, and her younger siblings, Finn and Freya, until the king of their land attacked their home. Believing that her oldest daughter's beauty could save her and her younger siblings, their mother placed a spell on her children to keep them young and beautiful forever, before they were taken away, living in extreme poverty. Inheriting her mother's magical powers, Ravenna manipulated the spell that her mother had casted to keep her evergreen youth, and obtained the Magic Mirror. As centuries passed, her strength and magical power grew at an incredible level, as well as her hate and bitterness towards the world. Eventually, she sought vengeance in her own unique way: seducing Kings, murdering them, and then conquering their kingdoms. Guided by the Mirror, armed with her magical powers, and aided by Finn and Freya, Ravenna was practically invincible and, over the years, none were able to oppose her, whilst numerous kingdoms fell to her seductive, magical beauty and murderous schemes.
Ravenna was shown throughout the saga to be psychopathic, extremely cruel, arrogant, and intensely selfish. She is so obsessed and hell-bent on maintaining her beauty and immortality, she will go to any length to keep it, even if it means to use violence, manipulation, or magical influence upon others. Ravenna is viewed as a victim of tragic circumstance, who suffers from extreme psychological damage, due to the trauma of her early years. Experiencing this trauma made her have the desire for vengeance against the world, and possess an extreme dislike in the symptoms of weakness, viewing mercy and compassion as little value. Ravenna's extreme misandry was due to her view of love being a sin, since she believes that she was a much better ruler than any King, and that her view of rebellion against the world was through violence and fear, implying that she was extremely delusional and deranged: symptoms of her own undoing. Despite her great age, Ravenna has a severely stunted emotional growth: her extreme emotional outbursts, overreactions, and anger issues make her a bit childishly-hostile in nature. However, despite her cold and cruel nature, she is capable of love and affection to some extent, while having a genuine love for her siblings, and those of her family circle. However, this degree of love and affection does not extend to her forgoing what she viewed to be her own best interests. Though Ravenna did appear to be truly reluctant to harm her infant niece, she knew beforehand how grief-stricken Freya would be if any harm fell upon the child. However, this doesn't mean that she had qualms in framing Freya's lover for the murder. Ravenna was devastated by this, but she chose to sacrifice him to save herself, emphasizing the fact that when it came to immediate family members, she would always put herself first.
POWERS
• Vanir/Corvid Physiology:
Ravenna was born as a Vanir from the race of Men, along with the rest of her siblings, but having to wield extremely powerful dark magic, inherited by her mother, she has evolved into becoming a full-supernatural Corvid being. However, she still possesses the attributes of both Corvid, and of the race of Men.
~ Superhuman Strength -
Ravenna possesses a level of superhuman strength, both from her combined physiology as a Vanir and a Corvid, making her a bit stronger than all the races in the Nine Realms. She has the extent of being able to lift and throw individuals without difficulty, and also knock them several feet away with one blow.
~ Superhuman Agility/Speed -
Like Asgardians and Vanirs, Ravenna is shown to have immense agility and reflexes while performing swift and agile movements.
~ Healing Factor -
As a higher-practiced Corvid being, Ravenna cannot be killed by solid strikes, therefore she can heal from these injuries very quickly. For her, the only way to be killed is to lack her of consumption of youth, or if the "Fairest" delivers a fatal wound to her. As an entity of the Magic Mirror, the only way to vanquish her was to destroy the Mirror.
~ Longevity -
Even though she typically ages slowly by being part of the race of Men, the spell her mother had casted upon her as a child, has stalled her physical growth, therefore making her far older than she looks. This stall in longevity is limited though, meaning that she has to retain her extended life indefinitely by draining the youth of other young women.
• Sorcery:
For her to be a Corvid being, inherited by her mother, Ravenna wields dangerous magic of the Dark Arts, holding an arsenal of magical powers. However, like every magic user, excessive usage of her powers would cause her inner energy to weaken, and, in her case, cause herself to age, which she combated by stealing the youth of others, mainly young women.
~ Life-Force Manipulation -
Ravenna has the ability to manipulate the essence of the living, controlling the life-force that dwells within them, both physically and spiritually. She can channel this ability by either direct or non-direct contact with her intended victim, either bestowing their youth, healing their injuries, or sustaining their energy. However, it is beyond Ravenna to restore life to the dead.
~ Dark Magic Conjuration -
Ravenna has the ability to conjure a black substance known as dark fay, which could take the form of a solid, and a liquid. She was able to conjure soldiers of black glass and obsidian stone, as well as project razor-sharp tendrils at her enemies, which were strong enough to cut through skin, bone, and barriers with effortless ease.
~ Shapeshifting -
Ravenna can change her physical form, reshaping her genetic and cellular structure to whatever shape she desires, like a flock of ravens and other human beings. As she transforms into other human beings, she can perfectly impersonate them to manipulate her intended victim.
~ Invisibility -
Whether a trick of the mind or genuine invisibility, Ravenna demonstrated this once: while Freya was giving her speech, Ravenna was nowhere to be seen, but later appeared quickly out of nowhere.
~ Hypnosis -
Ravenna can manipulate another person's thoughts and actions. If her victim was placed into a semi-conscious state, they would not have any recollection of their previous actions.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Talented Seductress:
Ravenna was a consummate seductress, being able to effectively utilize all of her beauty and her sexuality to beguile and distract her victims until it was too late for them.
• Expert Combatant:
It's unknown where Ravenna earned her combat training, but she does prove to be a very formidable fighter. Her primary weapon is a curved dagger, which she always carries around on her person.
