I got this idea from a multiplayer RP I'm currently part of. So what I have in mind is a young, mild mannered, if not a bit meek, priest who has recently opened a new ministry at his small church. The premise of this ministry is that anyone who needs a place to stay while down on their luck, or perhaps they just can't afford a hotel, can stay in a newly renovated section of the church. This, or course, opens the doors for all sorts of possibilities. Our young priest foresaw that. What he didn't foresee, however, is a young vampire woman wandering into his halls.
Having recently been changed (within the last couple of years), our vampiress is still trying to come to terms with her new life. Now why she has come to the church is up to the player. Maybe she was once a devout worshiper, but is struggling with her faith do to her transformation. Maybe she doesn't have a home and needs a place to crash for a while and figure things out. Maybe she's on the run from vampire hunters and needs a sanctuary.
Whatever the reason, her living at the church brings this odd friendship together. Of course, the priest doesn't know her secret to begin with, but he's bound to find out. And perhaps share some secrets of his own. As far as romance goes, I don't really foresee this being a romantic roleplay. I would really like a story about two unlikely friends, and just that.
