Each team is required to have at least three PCs (playable characters). If no one covers the last two, I'll add expendable NPCs which I will control until someone applies.

[Full Name]: Darren Briggs

[Callsign]: Deacon

[Nationality]: United States of America

[Age]: 38

[Sex]: Male

[Appearance]:

Stands at a firm 6'0, weighs around 210 pounds. Has a scar in a shape of a vertical line, starting from his neck and down to the upper half of his back.

He wear a default RAINBOW opsuit with no modifications.

[RAINBOW Team _]: ECHO

[Specialty]: Interrogations Expert

[Background]: Columbia, South Carolina, born and raised, Darren had the makings of a warrior since an early age. Out of his three other siblings, all brothers, he was the one who preferred to stay outdoors the most. His childlike sense of wonder didn't flicker through puberty. He took his knack for exploration and his inexhaustible energy and used it to participate in several charity marathons, and many extracurricular activities. He decided to expand his repertoire at the age of 18, at which point he enlisted in the U.S Navy SEALs, choosing to abandon the possibility of a higher education.

After completing his required training in an approximate span of a year, he was shortly assigned to SEAL Team 4 where he took up reconnaissance. His first tour was at the age of 22, where he briefly worked in a two man unit in several deep recon ops concentrated around the Kunar Province in Afghanistan. He would take four more tours in the following four years. After a mission gone awry in Iraq, which resulted in the death of his own colleague, Darren would be the first of his team to see RAINBOW in action. His curiosity regarding the team's function and wildly unorthodox, yet effective methods increased, and much to his luck, he was notified that he was being groomed to be a part of RAINBOW. Apparently, they were impressed by his track record.

From that point on, his military activity ceased on strict orders, a period which he used to pursue college and receive a bachelor's degree in education. At the age of 28, he was recruited as an operative in RAINBOW, where he underwent grueling training. He was appointed to Team ECHO under the callsign "Mech". At that time, ECHO was under the mantle of team leader "Deacon" who instilled his views on ethics and their place in an asymmetric war such as the ones they were part of on a monthly basis. Seeing as how he had absorbed the "essence" of a RAINBOW leader, the position of team leader was passed down to him after original Deacon's retirement. To preserve his legacy, Darren adopted the callsign for himself. He was 35 when that happened.

[Personality]: In accordance to his reputation as a battle hardened soldier, Darren initially appears callous and distant to anyone outside his own team who has the displeasure of working alongside him. As a former SEALs member, he respects everyone that's above his paygrade, even when taking into account RAINBOW's fluid chain of command. As a child, he was described as energetic, with a perpetual, toothy grin on his face. But while his cheery personality was mostly obliterated a full decade ago, traces of it still surface time to time. This is especially apparent in his interactions with his squadmates (during breaks, of course) and family members. It's almost as if that behavior of his is only reserved for the aforementioned. He is also very big on wisecracking, and extremely good at it.

Regardless, his cold persona overtakes the moment he steps into a battlezone. It mostly serves as a tactical mechanism, as it helps him keep his mind on his objectives and in ensuring the safety of his teammates. He is willing to dish out advice to people with less experience than him, and has been referred to numerous times as "Rainbow's poster boy" for his unwavering loyalty to the unit and his willingness to get his hands dirty if it means getting the job done. In recent times, however, his job and the implications behind it have taken a toll on him, causing him to mentally question what RAINBOW stands for, and consequentially break what is considered a taboo within the regiment.
