Appearance: Donovan is a long time soldier and demolitions expert, and he shows it. His face and body are crisscrossed with a variety of scars. He has a broad, flat face, with a nose that looks like it's been broken more than once. His eyes are dark brown, and his hair is a closely shave black. Donovan is large, in both height and width. He stands at 6'4", and has a broad chest, and thick arms. He is in almost all aspects, intimidating.

History: Donovan comes from a long line of military men, and he is no different. He joined the USMC straight out of high school, and quickly distinguished himself as a capable soldier. He quickly found he was very talented in the usage of explosives, and specialized in them. He spent nearly a decade serving in the USMC, and in one particular case, managed to rig an entire enemy occupied fort with plastic explosives. He served honorably, and was promoted accordingly until Project Freelancer took notice of him. He joined up eagerly, hoping to distinguish himself further. In training, he mastered the art of ambush tactics and trap laying.

Personality: Despite his gruff appearance, Donovan is very friendly and gregarious. He is a loud person, and has the bad habit of shouting out to friends, acquaintances, and even strangers, at long distances. He is not serious at all, and likes to tell jokes and pull pranks on others in his down time. There are very few people Donovan has met that he didn't like, and try to make friends with. Even on mission and in training, he likes to make conversation with anyone around.

Any specific weaknesses/flaws: He is lacking in the way of long range combat. He can manage close range due to his size, but he's not as good as others.

Quirks: Talks too much, hence his nickname.

@ dereken - We can always use more! We're shorthanded atm. I like Illinois' nickname. Is Noise from pre-Freelancer military, or is it something he's going to earn early in the rp? If it's the latter case, I totally want Lizzy to come up with it (unless you have other plans).

You said his nickname was Noise. Someone had to have given the nickname to him, but I wasn't sure if that was a nickname he was given in the USMC or if it's one you wanted him to be given by other freelancers.

Awesome. =) I'm going to leave the OOC open until tomorrow to give Lost some time to work on Nevada and to give any other potentially interested parties the chance to post Character Sheets. After that, I'll get the rp set-up, so look for an opening post sometime tomorrow. I'll post a link in here, too, to make it easy to find.

Edit: The nice thing about this one is that we don't need all the characters from the get-go; if anyone wants to join after we've started, they just need to post a bio so we know who they are (and so I can make sure there's no overlap with other characters) and then they can join as if they've been there all along, just... elsewhere on the Mother of Invention.

Not a problem, Treue! Thanks for the heads up. Are you going to be switching your armor colors at all? I eventually intend to include a list of taken color combinations in the first post, so that anyone who joins after the start of the rp has a quick reference when they're making their characters. I'll just need to know your final combination so there isn't any overlap. =)

Edit: I have been literally stalking this website and the other places I've posted about needing people for the rp all day. Kind of distracting from my actual job-related work, but I am very excited to get this thing underway.

Also, just found some information on the RvB Wiki that mentions deleted scenes for Seasons 9 and 10 which suggest Utah did not die during training-- only nearly-- and Georgia is just MIA. So his body could have turned up somewhere and we just don't know it. I'm going to open those names back up.

I've been watching the series since the beginning and Texas has never been Black/Black.

Texas is Black/Steel

Then the AI Epsilon created a figment of all the Blood Gultch characters in the capture unit where Tex was just black, this version however is not canonical because that is no different than the crazy versions Caboose imagines in his head.
