[OOC] More Than A Lifetime (Kyrisse x Neno 1445)

Soulmate

A person with whom you have an immediate connection the moment you meet. A connection so strong that you are drawn to them in a way you have never experienced before. As this connection develops over time, you experience a love so deep, strong and complex that you begin to doubt that you have ever truly loved anyone prior.

We all follow roads to our destiny, the crossroads leading us to choices that eventually shape our lives and the lives of the people around us. Along this road, we find people whose souls resonates so strongly with our own that we cannot go forward without them by our side. A soulmate. The other half of ourselves.

But Fate is unpredictable. They control the thread that weaves the tapestries of our lives. Some find their lives colorful. Some find it dull. Others find their tapestries lengthy, spun out and seemingly endless. While some find theirs cut too short. Fate can be kind, witty and tranquil. But it can also be cruel, merciless and uncertain.

If Fate turns its eyes on you and you feel that you have no control over the life that you own, would you rage against it? Would you struggle under its power? Would you succeed in taking control of your own thread in the tapestry? Or would you let Fate dictate you destiny? Would you sit idly and let life unfold by itself in front of you, the choices left only to chance?

What if Fate gets in the way of finding your happiness? What if Fate gets in the way of Soulmates?

Alrighty...so on to the PLOT!

This will be about two people finding each other and falling in love. Obviously, these two are soulmates. The twist is that they find themselves drawn to each other but for some reason, can't end up together. The roleplay will span several lifetimes... Maybe 4-5, depends on how the whole thing goes.

Some key points...

• Main characters will be the same through out all the lifetimes but we will make new profiles for them for each lifetime. Everything changes except of course, their faces. ^_^
• There will be other recurring characters throughout the lifetimes. Feel free to create one if you want.
• Feel free to use pictures in the post. (Just because they're fun to add... no other reason for it. )
• I can't think of anything else so I'll add into this once I do.

Setting
I'd rather not set a specific setting like New York or something. Setting the roleplay in a specific place sorta limits what we can do with the place our characters are in. Personally, if I set it to New York in the 1800's I'd be too lazy to look up New York at that time period but then I'd have to look it up to make it accurate and it'll take a while and then I find myself procrastinating. >_< So yeah, this is the fantasy part... Maybe base it on a specific place/country and then just play around with the whole thing.

Setting: Whitehaven

Whitehaven is a port kingdom that flourished in mid 16th century ruled by King Thomas Havensworth. Their prosperity is based on exporting goods all over the world. The products exported were mainly food, fabrics and goods from neighboring kingdoms. By the end of the 16th century Whitehaven was the leading exporter in the whole northern hemisphere. It also became a bustling trading port with as many as a hundred ships docking in a single day. While there had been plenty of rumors that Whitehaven was involved in slave trade, it was never substantiated.
