Hello everyone! I call myself Ashgar and I'm happy to have found a community where I can actually play rpgs online. I've played some DnD and 40K here and there with live people, but conflicting schedules make it almost impossible these days. Still somewhat a noob, I enjoy trying new games and would love to see what the community has to offer. I have no particular preference to genres; I'll play fantasy, sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, etc. On that note, I'm actually developing my own Victorian-style detective rpg and I think it would be really cool to playtest on here some day. Bottom right of each post in a thread. @mention lets you tag someone so they know you're talking to them and so they get a notification.

Another way of doing this manually, which can be helpful if say, they didn't post in the thread and you want them to see it, you do [@Their name] instead.

Welcome to the guild. That role-play idea sounds like it could be cool, since that era usually works as a decent setting for stories and detective plotlines are always a good genre to go for. I write some murder mystery work myself, so I definitely know how effective it can be. I'm even the host of a game on this site that's centred around the concept of working who out of a group of people is the murderer, mostly through psychological warfare and deductive skills. Anyway, all the best.
