@WildRose No. Vampires are bred and born. They appear human until they reach the age of 25 at which time they undergo a transition to their vampire selves. It is intensely painful and dangerous and if they do not have someone to feed from they will not survive the transition.

If a vampire gets a human pregnant there's an 50/50 chance they will be human or vampire.

@Belle last question does it need to be their mate that they feed from when they finally transition or does it need to just be something with blood?

@WildRose The more questions the better sweetie!
And generally that is what happens, since feeding is a very intimate thing, but it's not a hard and fast rule. Human blood will not help during a transition, it MUST be vampire blood of the opposite sex, which is why a lot of young vampires die during transition if someone cannot be found that is willing. Families normally set up partners for their children ahead of time. If romance sparks, good. If not, that's fine too.

@WildRose oh definitely, just check out my newly posted character. She went through her transition with the help of a male vampire who is actually gay but has become a friend of hers.

Depends on what you want to make. A Brother has to have a Warrior name (like Rhage, Torhment, Aghony, Wrath) He can have a normal name that he goes by (example : a character in the books name is Destroyher, but he goes by Butch) but he has to have some kind of Warrior name he was given when he became a Brother. Also a Brother has to look the part. A thin guy, even a lean guy with a few muscles, is not a Brother. They are known for being extremely handsome but that is not always the case (a character in the books was physically abused and his face horribly scarred)

Vampires can heal from most wounds but if a wound gets salt in it the scarring is permanent.

If you want to make a female vampire, they are not as physically large as males but can be as strong if they work at it. There are no real restrictions on female vampire character creation.

Depending on what kind of characters you guys make (I am planning on making a Brother) we can assign characters as mates to each other as you like. If you want a certain character as your mate PM me (that way no pressure of posting it here) and I'll post an official list once we begin. IF you don't want a mate that's fine too, just let me know.

In the days leading up to transition your eyes become sensitive to light and you feel hotter than usual. You are also hungry more but can't eat. Your teeth hurt as well, like a toothache.

Once your transition begins, which is very sudden, intense pain racks your whole body. You nearly burn up with fever but do not sweat. Feeding helps with the pain and gives you the nourishment you need as you change. The pain lasts anywhere from a few hours to a day or two. At the end you are tired and sleep for a while. Once you awaken you are energized.

Also vampires get burned in the sun and if exposed too long, burn to death.
Holy Water, Crosses, Garlic? All of that does nothing. Completely useless.

So, when assigning mates, would they be meeting after the transition or before?

@XxLyraxX Depends on where your character is when you start the story. For example, mine has already transitioned so she will be meeting her mate (whoever that turns out to be) as a vampire already.
If you want to introduce your character as pre-transition and have her meet her mate beforehand then have him help her through the transition that is perfectly fine.

Personality: Lilia is always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. She is always trying to take care of the people around her but in doing so Lilia sometimes forgets to take care of herself as well. But given the right circumstances and Lilia's inner flame can shine through and she can become a feisty little thing with a tongue to match. Personality: Despite having a very Kind and sweet woman she has a tendency to be very quiet and likes being a bit of a loner. Juniper was also very brave and would not hesitate to take a bullet for a family member or a complete and total stranger. Determination has always been the strongest suit for her because of how she was raised by her father. She is also very adventurous always wandering away and being curious about the world around her.

Brief Background: Juniper was raised with just a father. She had been raised to be tougher than she lets on and always be cautious since her mother was killed by a Lesser. Juniper had known what she was but she just continued to just lie life as she saw fit at the time. Her father had a friend who was like a brother to him who had a son. Hoping they would grow to love each other they pushed them to hang out. Juniper and Michelangelo (Or Michel) would learn to love each other as brother and sister not as mates.

They did get into trouble though. Growing up on a farm was one of the most fun things the young and older friends enjoyed. Getting into trouble and running around the farm with their dogs.

When they got older Michel and Juniper had been hanging out when Juniper went into transition. Painful and crying ensued then she blacks out. When she came back the woman gasps when she felt her teeth inside someone that someone being her bestfriend. She cried when she let him go.

Now she is still on the small farm and remains there with Michel as a helper around the farm.
