[IC] Beginning of the end (jazz and Xion)

does this guy ever give up furnace was running through town getting chased by the cops, like they could handle a human torch. Red x was on a building, he jumped down in front of furnace "haven't you already learned your lesson," furnace blasted fire at him red rolled out of the way then a red x pulsed from his hand and hitting furnace. Furnace groaned as red ties him up for the Feds to come and get, flashs voice came through the com "you done red x?" Red looked at furnace, "yah I'm done here," flashs voice came through "your gonna be on a team after today so head back to base." Red sighed then started to head back to base, "on my way."

(Sorry I have been taking sometime to post, I had a post ready and almost done when my phone fussed up. Then I got busy.)
"Come on Malika! We don't want to be late." Meg'an called out as she stood by a random tree in the middle of the forest. Within the shadows of the forest, a black wolf watched the marshian from her brush and shadow. Breath even and quiet, crouched and focused, the wolf waited for Meg to looked away before arching herself before pouncing out ontop of the marshian. Laughing, Meg scratched the fur of the wolf while being licked. The wolf soon got off and had transformed into a human female with black hair, wearing a white, black, and grey robe with a red sash belt. Black jeans and black combat boots. She seemed equipped with a rapier, a dagger at her right thigh, a few throwing knives sheathed at her left thigh. The hood hid her eyes from the light of the sun. "Sorry. It was too fun to pass up. So where are we heading? What's going on?" The female assumed to be Malika.
Meg'an smiled as she stood. "To base. We are going to see the others. You get to be on a team today." Malika nodded as she looked around. They both head to base.

Raphael rubbed his face, he wasn't really that nervous not really. he had worked on a few missions with a team, but he always preferred to work alone than instead of on a team. Flash hit him over the head, "was I thinking out loud again?" flash nodded, red x shook his head as he got to the mountain. He wondered why they wanted him here to meet his team really, he was curious still like always the old saying being curious killed the cat so he was always cautious when he started a fight that he knew nothing about.

Malika followed Meg'an in her big wolf form while the marshian floated along to the base, Honestly Malika wondered who was all going to be on this team. Would she know any of them or would have to learn about them. These made her wonder about what she was possibly going to do in being able to work with others she didn't know about. Malika always guessed the matter of time of which it would take to know someone to where you could understand their fighting style and way of thinking. Though overall it didnt seem like a bad thing. Just very nerve wrecking in her opinion.
The duo had made it to the base in silence, knowing there wasn't much to talk about. Upon arriving inside, the large wolf lightly bumped into Meg'an who giggled and bumped back. The wolf looked like she was smiling as they went to the central hub of the base.

Red saw the wolf and the girl from the shadows, he wondered which would be partnered with him. He saw flash at the last second, and rolled out of the way "really flash," flash offered up a smile, "of course red I just wanted to have a little fun." Red x shook his head, "your fun and my fun are two different things," red said as he walked into the central hub.

While walking.to the central hub, the large wolf's ear twitched as she heard voices. One sje could identify as Flash. She had heard about him and heard his voice from one point to another. The other was new to her. She couldnt figure out who it was. The wolf just toned.them out for they were exactly important.
Meg'an lead Malika into the central hub of which she looked to see who was all here. Malika sat next to Meg'an waiting patiently, feeling no need to change her form.

Red x got to the central hub, seeing two people there. He looked at flash "meet your team red," red x looked at the wolf. The wolf was a lot bigger than the wolves he seen, he should guess the wolf was a shapeshifter of some sort. The girl right next to the wolf, he knew nothing about from her body language though it was better to keep on her good side. If he did he didn't want to find out what would happen, so he would try to keep on her good side.

The marshian watched Flash and a male walk up to them. Smiling, they got to see their new teammate. The Wolf stood observing the one named Red. She then walked over to him, sniffed him for a quick couple seconds before the Wolf was incased in shadow and turned into a human female. She then holds out her hand while green emerald eyes looks at Red. "Hawk." She.simply states with her hand still held out to him for a hand shake.

Red x watched the wolf shift, then saw a female standing in its place. He shakes her hand "Red x most people call me red," the mask giving his expression on his face. He was wondering how he could work with this team that he now had, he didn't really take orders that well that's why it was hard for flash to find a team to put red on. Most teams wanted teammates who would take orders easily red wasn't that kind of guy.

Nodding, Hawk took the name to memory and face (well. mask in this case). She simply tilted her head, wondering what he was thinking about. Hawk looked over to Meg'an who had walked up and held her hand out. "I'm Meg'an. I'm only with you two temporarily but it will be lovely working with you Red."
Hawk watched the two before her but wondered what was to happen today. She looked to Flash. "Is there anything to do today? Anyone incharge of this team?" She asked curiously.

Red shook her hand, he looked at Flash "the leader of the team is up to you guys, but I must warn you sometimes when there are things at high risk and red sees a way through it even if it is small he'll take it." Red swallowed he remembered what had happened to Kid flash really and he was there trying to find a way to save him, Kid had knocked him out of the way of the blast furnace took and it hit him instead. Instead of red dying by furnaces hand it was Kid flash. Red grimaced as he recalled the memory, he had promised to work with flash before Kid died in his arms and he had to keep that promise to his old friend.

Hawk nodded, understanding the reason this now. Her attention on Red who, by her guess had been in his own world after what Flash said. Unsure as to why, it was not her place and therefore, would leave it alone. Meg'an was silent for she knew about Kid's death and had not taken it well as did most of her friends and team.
"I understand." Hawk simply said. But there was now a problem. Hawk had no idea as to what to do now when being on a team. The ones she had been on were a one mission stand and nothing more. Though Hawk didn't care, she was now faced with a challenge in which Hawk had never done and how to do it. Meg'an had an idea as to what they could do but they would think it boring in most cases.

Red heard a police report that was going on through the system, "man how in the world did furnace escape?" flash opened his mouth "on second thought don't answer that," red grabbed his belt. man furnace don't you ever give up a fight "I will take the roof tops I'm faster if I goes by roof meg'an you keep track of funace tell them when he's changed his direction. and Hawk chase after him make sure he doesn't leave your sight." Red was surprised on how fast he had come up with that, he had gone against funace plenty of times to know him all to well though, the reports of furnace kept coming in he couldn't allow furnace to hurt anyone more than he already has.

Hawk tilted her head a little, the name.furnace sounded familiar yet she had.only seen pictures. That was okay though. She.knew who they were talking about and therefore nodded, thinking the plan seemed sound enough. Meg'an nodded going off to.do as she was asked, Hawk ran off after being given an order, once.out of the base, she climbed the treetops and was.giving herself a start before she had transformed into a black hawk. Flying in the direction where furance was. Meg'an had gotten there amd had established a psychic link with Red and Hawk. Meg'an started telling the police and the others Furnace's change in direction. Hawk was in pursuit yet making sure that she wouldn't get too close if something were to happen.

Red jumped from building to building, he kept up with furnace easily enough. Still furnace was fast for a big guy, he kept note of the direction he was heading he had to stop this guy before he did any real damage to the city that is. Red saw fire coming at him he jumped out of the way just as furnace slammed into him, he was thrown to the ground a grunt escaping him. He kicked furnace in the stomach then steeped kicked him then the fist slammed into his face cracking the mask down the middle. Red tasted blood, his blood.

The black Hawk had noticed the battle that just commenced between Red and furnace. Seeing how that Red wasn't exactly fairing so well, she decided to lend a hand. Hawk flies over and gets behind Furance and transforms back to her human form, then grabs the knife before going to injure him with her blade, embedding it in his shoulder. Meg'an had come to the fight not long after and was prepared to help in anyway she could. But with Hawk on Furance, she couldn't risk to hurt her.

Furnace yelled in pain and shot some fire in red's direction. Red dodged, and a red x pulsed from his palm hitting furnace square in the chest. He still tasted his own blood, but it wasn't really a problem. Another x hit furnace, knocking him to the ground he made sure he didn't hit hawk and he didn't soon they had furnace cuffed these cuffs were made for peoo leaving with fire ability these wouldn't melt under heat. "What your not going to take your revenge on me for kid flash?" Furnace said in a sarcastic tone, red stopped in his tracks "kid wouldn't want that I promised him I would protect this city from people like you." The police caught up and took furnace into custody, red took a deep breath furnace had the nerve to talk to him like that.

Hawk had tried to hang on before pulling the dagger out of Furnace's shoulder and rolling out of harms way when she jumped off his back. She watched the scene before her when Furnace got cuffed and the bad guy wondering why Red didnt take revenge on him for Kid Flash. She tilted her head before watching he cops take him away. She walked up to him and stood beside him. "Wise call. Though I wouldn't have killed him. It's highly frowned upon and against what the Justice League is about."

Red just looked at hawk, "I'm just following a promise I made to him that's all tell flash furnace was dealt with I need time to cool off." Hrs jumped from budding to building, he looked over the city he was supposed to protect for kid. Red would protect this city, he wouldn't dare break the promise he made to kid.

Hawk nodded, watching her new teammate go off to cool off. She looked to Meg'an who looked to her with a shrug before motioning Hawk to follow. The female looked back to the disappeared Red before nodding. Walking with Meg'an, transforming into the black Hawk while following.
