I was thinking that there could be an RP in which a male dragon takes a seemingly helpless maiden who was to be sacrificed as a penalty for failing to meet with his demands for tribute from a village. The maiden in question turns out to be a powerful sorceress, even more powerful than the dragon. Whether or not the villagers knew of her powers and how she came to be the sacrificial offering is something that can be worked out later.

At this point, she is the one who places him in distress, keeping him in his lair and trying to get him to obey her. Depending on the other player, this can be kinda mean or kinda funny, but I draw the line at gratuitous cruelty or torture. It would be no more than PG-13. I tagged it "romance" too, if a player wants to go down that route.

It's a bit vague at this point, but I think it has promise.
