A story of an unsure prince, and the woman who pushes him towards success.
Do note, I wish to play Asgore in this plot.
Taking place before the war between monsters and humans that would seemingly seal monsters underground for eternity, the story will mainly follow Prince Asgore Dreemurr, and the love of his life that he encounters, and their relationship during the growing conflicts between Humans and Monsters, in which Asgore has to come to terms with the responsibilities he has of becoming a great leader like his father when the time comes, and the fear those responsibilities cause him to feel.
The roleplay will include a lot of original locations and characters, though will also include a few of the older characters in the Underground, as well. Most of the main characters will either be young or not born yet for this roleplay, however. Specifically Undyne and Alphys, neither of which will become present until later after the monsters are forced into the Underground.
The story will be fairly lengthy, hopefully, though can have cuts in-between certain stages; I'd like this to start from Toriel and Asgore meeting each-other, and have it end somewhere around the time Toriel abandons her throne in the Underground and chooses to live in the ruins. Obviously, this will not be a happy ending; But there's plenty of light-heartedness and cute fluff for the two earlier on, and even after entering the Underground, due to Asriel being born, and Chara being adopted into the family after she falls. But it does eventually start to spiral downhill very quickly, hindering the lovers to the point of splitting apart due to bad decisions and even worse actions.
I'd like to craft a lot of the outside world with you, rather than one of us handling it all. Toriel's backstory is completely up to you; a lot of things are up to debate, especially how the story goes; At least up until the point the war actually gets to it's climax, in which their fate is clear and already decided. I want this to be it's fair amount of fluffy adorableness, mixed with dark themes and considerable issues for both characters over the course of the roleplay, with some of those issues certainly being between the two of them.

Lemme know if anything poses as a problem thus far for you, so we can sort it out! I've had this lingering in my head for awhile, and would love to see it actually happen as it's a good change of pace in my opinion, as far as Undertale roleplays go.
