Blaze was strolling through the street towards the Oldline Bar. She had been tipped off that a woman dressed like some sort of brawler was hanging around the parking lot. Blaze had come to expect that pretty much anyone trained for combat who wasn't already part of her Streets Of Rage collective was probably some paid bruiser. But the fact that this woman was alone meant that she was probably Boss-level and not just some average thug. Not that it mattered to Blaze though, she was determined to keep the town clean.

The thump of the music from the bar was heavy as Blaze entered the parking lot through side entrance. and immediately she spotted her. She was wearing gloves and elbow pads and a battle skirt and vest. You don't dress like that unless you can fight. Blaze called her out from across the asphalt, gripping a baseball bat tightly as she shouted.

I'm not sure who you work for but I'll give you one chance to get out of town right now. I may not be a cop anymore but I can still act like one.

In addition to the bat she was holding she also had a knife in her belt and a set of handcuffs on the other side. She would never carry a gun, but it helps to have some insurance.

The crisp, cool night thunders with bass heard and felt clear outside the club’s scarcely populated parking lot. There, leaned against her swarthy black motorcycle, Tifa waits alone for a flaky friend with her arms folded and legs crossed; sporting a white tank, lustrous black short skirt and brown boots.

Gasoline perfumes the air as she breathes deeply and begins to feel impatient. It’s not unlike Kisaragi to be tardy but it’s now going on an hour and the backdrop of laser lights and passing cars can only amuse for so long; so Tifa lowers her arms to her hips and her right hand retrieves the cell phone clipped to her belt. A thumb brings it to life and kisses her face with artificial light as she seeks to dial the unseen kunoichi.

Then a female voice shouts in her direction but Tifa doesn’t recognize it as Yufi’s. She turns her head and her brown eyes behold a babe with a baseball bat; they appear to have issue with 7th Heaven’s esteemed hostess. The words have her blinking in confusion at assertion of crime; she hadn’t broken any laws except arguably loitering in a night club parking lot in front of her own vehicle. That would be a ridiculous charge indeed. Hence Tifa proposes innocence with dismissive undertone, saying, “I… think you’re mistaking me for someone else… “

She looks at her phone afresh, assuming the matter finished, and shoots Kisaragi an inquisitive text with one thumb.

Blaze was mildly annoyed by the woman's aloof behavior, she was looking at her phone and seemed almost distracted. Blaze took it as the woman not taking her seriously as an opponent. She didn't waste any time.

You're dressed to fight, you're not one of us, so you must be one of them. I dont need to debate this any more.

Blaze had a running start, she did a small hop on to the hood of an expensive looking convertible and launched herself in to a flying kick attack, aimed for the woman's center mass.

The woman went on but Tifa didn't listening; she's too focused on her thumb-work over those digital letters to care as she strings a sentence to convey her impatient inquiry. She's about to hit "Send" when the sound of footsteps perks her head up with wide eyes.

Then she feels it: the sharp pain of a foot colliding with her bosom. She grunts sharply as she's sent rolling backward over the seat of her motorbike before reaction kicks in to allow a safe landing on one knee. Tifa stares at the black pavement below with cell phone still in her right hand, her lips pursed and chest hot from the blow and anger alike. Her free fingers curl into a cracking fist and she lifts her face, rising to behold her assaulter with an ireful leer. "I don't know why I still get caught off-guard by these random battles..."

Tifa turns to her sinister and walks toward the rear of her idle vehicle, guiding strewn bangs behind her ear with the left hand. When she comes around to stand before the violent dame, about seven feet apart, Tifa returns her phone to its holster and puts her fists up into the telltale position of a fighter; right foot takes lead and she puts weight on her rear left, slightly bending her knees. She'll have to take care of this quickly if she's to ensure her appointment with Kisaragi is kept. However now she's only in the mood to bash a face to the booming beat.

Fight at Night

The bass of the track playing from the Old Line was familiar. Blaze must have cracked at least 100 heads to the 'Dreamer' soundtrack in her past, and tonight would be no exception. After landing the kick square, she was somewhat surprised how the woman was able to regain balance so quickly. Also even when landing the kick she realised that this woman's body was not normal, it was almost like kicking a wooden door.

They stood around 7 feet apart with a motorbike in-between them, Blaze wanted rid of it as soon as possible, she had enough experience being ran over by biker punks on the street. She wasted no time in charging her hands with Ki energy and hitting it with a Kikou Shou which in a flash of yellow energy, blasted the motorbike with heavy force, half destroying it and sending it flying towards the opponent like a junk missile.

Your phonecall might have to wait, darling.

With formality finished, Tifa awaits the "officer's" next questionable act while she slips into the groove of the rhythm; delicately bouncing her body to music before their hands light with energy she knows well. It causes the barkeep to exercise extra caution prior to use. There's no telling how it will manifest once released.

When it's retained in the hands and swung in a punch Lockhart inferences intent to strike her cherished cycle. A good guess given that's exactly what follows: a crunchy collision of fist and metal framework which sends the bike toward the unhappy heroine.

Tifa hops to her dexter in time to evade and hear it crash into the car abaft. She stands silent, focused and thinking; thinking of how to smash the pretty face of the woman who has damaged her property: a gift from her beloved Cloud.

Anger smolders from her heart and swirls dizzyingly through her body as she dashes at the violent vandal. What little distance between them affords enough time to prepare for reciprocation and Tifa won't strike until then. However her fury comes to bare when ire seeps from her skin in Prussian blue aura: the mark of her own spirit energy.

Blaze was somewhat impressed at the leap that her opponent made to avoid the bike, and decided to keep the pressure on, she didn't want to turn a street fight into a chess match. As soon as her opponent landed from the evasive jump, Blaze modified her special moves to propell herself into into a fast sliding kick attack aimed at her opponents legs and then finished the move with a handflip into single front flip vertical slash.

The beauty of the front flip is that its essentially a feint, very few can expect an overhead Ki powered chop from mid air. at low altitude. This fight was going to get violent, and Blaze wouldn't have it any other way.
