UTOPIA PRIME
The third planet in this system is inhabited with sentient life each from one of the various tribes that thrive here. The planets cycle is slow giving the day and night twenty four hours each. This makes a year into one hundred eighty two rotations. From the ground one can see the massive rings that encircles the planet. The planet also hosts two moons that can be seen during the day. Their names are Yue and Lin. The sisters of the sky mother. These moons create a massive flood season across the seven continents due to the very close proximity to the planet. These occur every five years. The floods can last up to year at a time. It is during these times most of the land creatures travel to one of the floating hubs left by the ancients.
This hub is the last of the ancient cities that still drifts silently across the skyline. From this point the monolithic structure draws all walks of sentient life to gather to the technological wonder that still stands. Munch of the knowledge to operate the technology was lost. So It is now just a meeting point for others as they search the planet for artifacts and lost knowledge. Trying to make a profit from a lost piece of tech they don't need for a piece of tech they do need. In order to complete one of the many thousand year old puzzles still scattered across the globe. To embark on these explorations the captains of ships able to traverse great distances quickly require a crew.
