The new guy

Well hi there, I guess. I'm not really sure why but I wandered my way in here from internet land looking for more roleplays. So, a bit about myself...

I've been into RPing for a good while, since about late 2009 or so. It all started on this old site that shut down in 2012 called Tinierme. Lots of fandom/anime based RPs on there, and I was absolutely terrible lol. I've gotten much better since then, of course. I still do majority fandom-based roleplays, though I'm hoping to crawl out of that hole at least a little bit for a while. Perhaps that's why I'm here...I'm a big fan of most forms of RP. Be it quickies, long and fully plotted out stories, and anything in-between. My quality of replies varies with my mood.

As for me as a person, I'm pretty nerdy and dorky. Video games, mainly old ones, MLP, some anime, music...I have many interests and hobbies. Not much else to say about myself. I'm quite fond of music especially, though. Rock and electronic are my usual genre jams.

Rambling aside, hopefully all goes well and I can get along with all y'all. Call me Skittles or Pen. Nice to meetcha.

I’m not surprised to see your kind here. Many adventurers have traveled this way since the recent troubles had passed. No doubt you’ve heard about the tragedy that befell the community here at the Guild. Some say that the Guildfall, bane of role players, is slowly enveloping the community once again. I don’t know if I believe that, but I have noticed from time to time that posts or players will mysteriously disappear. They disappear without word and without notice, hidden by the leaders of our community. Maybe it’s nothing. But rumors and sideways glances seems to trail in their wake. You see, shortly before Guildfall had occurred similar disappearances were common as well and strange rumor began to ravage even the most common parts of the guild. But until more evidence is uncovered I’ll remain here within this community and so should you. You’ll find interesting role play ideas across all the various topics categories here on the Guild and a few of mine or ones that I participate in as well. However, I would make sure you save your own information before the shadow that fell over the Guild before the fall once again consumes us all. But if you’re still alive before then, I’ll be more than happy to accomodate any role playing needs you may have if I can.

You should talk to some of the others, too. Guildmod has sent you a PM package to add with your new arrival and there are any number of veterans who are more than qualified to answer your questions. Maybe they can tell you more.

Sadly I'd never even heard of this place until I found it yesterday...But I plan to stay as long as I need. I needed something new in life.
