Sci-fi Adventure
Inspirations: Firefly, Star Wars, Traveller
Looking for a free form sci-fi adventure with lots of action and excitement. I envisage the galaxy as being large and fairly humano-centric with limited interactions with traditional tech using aliens. The level of technology will vary widely even within individual worlds, a glittering city of spires might stand beside a village where people drive cattle on horseback and use diesel generators.
Sample Activities include:
- Trying to escape the chaotic aftermath of a coup attempt on a frontier world.
- Shadow run esque heists in the dark underbellies of corperate megalopoli
- Exploring a derelict space ship
- Fighting pirates
Pulp Adventure
Inspirations: Indiana Jones, Call of Cthulhu, The Mummy, Atlantis
Heart pounding action in the pulp tradition. This will be set in the 20s-30s and have the feeling of something halfway between Indiana Jones and the Call of Cthulhu. Characters should be be prepared for a globe hopping adventure that brings them face to face with shadowy cults, well armed gangsters and a variety of other antagonists.
Sample Activities include:
- Evading Gangsters on the mean streets of Chicago.
- Racing to recover a rare idol from an amazonian temple.
- Attending a ball thrown by the rich colonial elite in French Indo-china.
- (maybe)Confronting eldritch horrors from beyond space and time.
- Punching Nazis.
