First, a small introduction. I have been on this site in the past, but it was an eternity ago now. Since then, the site changed and I am now back with a fresh account for a fresh start.
I am looking for something simple (Hah.) right now. As such, I am putting up a few topics - mostly games and shows - that I would love to build a RP around. I consider myself High-To-Advanced writer and am looking for someone that fits this as well. :)
I do not have rules per say, but a few things I think are 'iMpOrtaNt' to mention:
1. I hate grammar mistakes as much as my fellow RPer, but I will never ask anyone to do better than what I can give. My mother tongue is French, so I will possibly make a few mistakes here and there or use the wrong word from time to time.
2. Words are a beautiful things. They say an image is worth a thousand words - I say you probably don't need a thousand words to describe one image. Where I am going with this is simple: I do not recognize quantity over quality. I find that a lot of people are so focused on writing a lot that it can sometimes sour things up. I have nothing against paragraphs of text just as much as I can appreciate a three liner if that is what is required of the moment. If things are balanced and just the right amount of words are used in the right scene at the right moment, quantity means nothing to me.
3. If I end up being the only one brainstorming over an idea and you simply nod your head to everything I say, I'm gone. ;)
4. Ghosts are not allowed in this thread. My potential fear of transparent beings aside, if you happen to be a ghost that appear and disappear at whim, please, do not feed me happy illusions only to take it away with you on the night when you'll disappear. (AKA, do not vanish on me.)
5. Don't let me be a hypocrite. Regarding topic 4, I go back to topic 1: I'm not asking anything I cannot provide. I may myself seemingly disappear at some points. If that happen, it would most likely be due to either work or personal life (or, if I am being true to myself: honest procrastination). My writing skills are dependent on my mood, and I got up and downs - like most people. What I am saying is: Talk to me. Do not be afraid to poke me, for I will not be afraid to poke you. ;)
