The game is high stakes and places ones own world on the line if they lose then their planet is given to the winner as a trophy. The fate of an entire race can be placed on the line, so why do you ask would they take such a risk?
That is simple, because whoever is given the Galaxy cup will rein supreme the right to be the ruler of entire civilizations. The ones who reach the cup and take a drink from its vessel is said to be given their hearts greatest desire, immortality, immense power, the freedom to rule as a god! Not just one person can drink from its cup however as each member of the team is given that opportunity to drink from its cup and have their hearts desire fulfilled. Who wouldn't risk everything for the chance?
Now humanity is given the chance to reach the Galaxy stage and wager everyone on the chance of reaching the cup. However, no one expects weak humans to face the creatures on the other side and as such as a special handicap each member is given power to rival that of a demi god arcane magic or super strength maybe even super speed. You must qualify as the earth team representative. Each one who joins will get a position on the team however its first come first serve, not everyone can be a forward after all.
When you join call out the position you want and it will be held for you until the rp gets started. Remember you can have any powers or superhuman ability you want but you have to be part human.
