Metahumans (sometimes called Deltahumans) are humans that were exposed to the Delta-Point Energy, or a Delta-Crystal, and had undergone a Manifestation Event. These Metahumans have gained abilities that defy the laws of nature, men with super strength, children that can control ice, and women that can teleport are the tip of the iceberg. This manifestation event only occurs after a human being has developed a sufficient amount of Delta-Point energy within their body. The rate which this energy develops depends on how much a person is exposed to (Codenamed their Exposure Event) and if a person touches a crystal for a prolonged amount of time their energy will develop at a much faster rate than somebody who was briefly exposed. In a lot of cases, exposure to this energy will not cause a manifestation to occur, but 15% of humans are compatible with the energy and can manisfest a power. It's unknown what causes a person to manifest as anyone of any sex, of any gender, is capable of manifesting, it's widely believed to be just chance. After many of them were covered, destroyed, or drained of all of their energy, it's fairly difficult to get exposed to the crystals and most are exposed to it by other Metahumans. There are two ways to manifest: Naturally, or Under High-Stress. If manifesting naturally, it can take over years for a Metahuman to manifest their powers. There seems to be a correlation between high-stress situations and the rapid growth of powers as many Metahumans who manifested.
Upon manifesting the Delta-Point Energy will completely flow within a person's being from their skin, all the way to their bones. It is normally invisible to the regular human eye, but when a Metahuman is straining themselves or using their power a great deal, their energy will show. When a Metahuman uses their power on the outside world, a small amount of the meta-human energy gets projected and focused in that area. Such as a Water-Elemental controlling a cup of water will get some of the energy projected into it, allowing them to manipulate the water inside of it until they cease to control and the energy returns to their body. However, this still leaves the energy in the area and can possibly cause others to manifest whom are compatible.
There are four types of Delta-Crystals/Delta-Point Energy that exist in the world: Type-Yellow (for those that have developed physical powers), Type-Red (for those who have gained an ability that pertains to manipulating the environment), Type-Blue (For those who have manifested a mental ability of some kind), Type-Green (for those who can alter the properties of other powers), and Type-White (those that have powers that don't fit the other categories). Depending on what kind of energy somebody is exposed to will dictate which type of power a Metahuman will develop. From either gaining the ability to manipulate the earth when exposed to red energy, read minds with Blue energy and so on. However, it's possible for these categories to blend together as it's also possible to get exposed to multiple different types of energy and will end up with a power that spans multiple categories. This is a rare type of Metahuman but these kinds of Metahumans are known as Type-Chromatic.
There is such a thing as powers being hereditary, but it is very rare within the Metahuman communities. When Metahumans have children, that child has a 95% higher chance to manifest an ability than anybody else. This is because, when a child is in the womb, the child is bathed with the energy and will grow and develop a similar power to their parents. However, the child will always take after the mother power-wise as they will be exposed to maternal energy more than paternal energy. This is why, if only one parent is a Metahuman, it's far more likely that the child will manifest if the mother possesses the powers. Even if the power is hereditary, the power will be different in certain ways, as nobody has the same one power. If the parents of a Metahuman are different types, there is a higher chance that the child will end up being a Type-Chromatic. Metahumans have a very particular effect attached to them: the Black Fall Effect. This has two main effects on the Metahuman population: firstly, all Meta-humans are subconsciously attracted to each other whether they want to or not. So subtly that it's next to impossible to even notice. It causes the shyest people to head out and interact or draws Metahuman to one location. The more Meta-humans that are around, the more intense this "flocking" effect will get.
Metahumans have an interesting relationship with the Delta-Crystals, as when in contact with a Delta-Crystal, a Metahuman receives a boost to their power as long as they remain in contact. This boost depends on which type of crystal a Metahuman is holding - as if they are a Type-Red holding a Type-Yellow, it'd be an incredibly minor boost to their ability. However, if the crystals are compatible, it'd be an insane upgrade to their powers. With one Metahuman being capable of doing city-changing feats while in contact with a crystal. Though, it will be an insane strain on the Metahuman and will increase their risk for ashing.
However, while powers are truly incredible, they come at a price, powers have a toll on the body and mind. Excessive and unrestrained use would cause what could be described as physical overexertion, and the Metahuman body gets strained from overuse. Pushing powers beyond their limits in high-stress situations cause even worse problems, and at it's most extreme, it may cause an effect known as "Ashing". This is basically an extremely deadly ailment where a Meta-human self-destructs, and their powers shut off, and all their cells will die at an alarmingly fast rate. Their cells will literally drop off their body like specs of ash, and this process will continue until there is absolutely nothing left of a Meta-human. This state is extremely deadly, and there's a mere 4% chance of survival - Even if an ashing victim does survive, there are some permanent physical damage (Amputation, Brain damage, loss of powers, etc, etc - Are a few to note) so it's considered a fate worse than death. Ashing is what Meta-humans truly fear, as any meta-human can ash if they are not careful.
It's possible for regular humans to ash if exposed to large amounts of Delta-Point Energy, and they are among the few that don't or can't manifest a power. This will largely occur if a person is in prolonged contact with the Delta-Point energy as it would take a large amount of energy for this to be possible. However, this can occur with the smallest amount of Delta-Point energy, and anyone who's not capable of manifesting can die from ashing.
Through the study of the crystals and the Delta-Point energy, there has been technology developed from them. They were noted to be a very potent energy source, and the energy can be harnessed in different ways. Most notably, by studying the energy, many organizations have created devices that can detect the energy within people and the crystals in the wild. Of course, these devices are considered to be a huge violation of privacy and are rarely employed. Then there are the simple Suppressant-Collars which are metal devices made to be wrapped around somebody's next that completely disables the usage of activation powers - for those whose powers are permanent changes, they have no effect on them. On the more insidious side, the mad scientists of the world have figured out means to give people powers: Serums. These serums are full of a glowing green liquid that infuses a person's body with the Metahuman energy and after the process is complete, they'll gain a superpower that corresponds with the color of the energy. These serums are usually sold to the highest bidder but are only capable of being purchased by those with a hefty chunk of change, but some people are just given the serums. It's unknown where these serums are coming from, or who are making them, but authorities are doing their best to find out.
In the summers of 1963, there was a sudden and abrupt meteor shower that wrought havoc over the skies of Earth, spreading bizarre crystals across the world wherever their debris made landfall. These crystals were infused with strange radiation that would "infect" living beings that either came in contact with the crystals themselves or were in proximity and got infected with the crystal's energy. This gave rise to the "First Generation" of Metahumans as the first of few individuals with such abilities found their place in the world. While this first generation proved to be relative unknowns, rumors or bogeymen to all but a handful of informed figures, their presence in the world would gradually increase over the coming decades, eventually causing mass hysteria as rumors were proven true and sightings impossible to cover up. By the 1980s, this had led to waves of rioting, protests and even mass displays of religious fervor as the public digested the knowledge of their existence in various ways. Eventually, the governments of the world attempted to manage their Metahuman populations through regulation and incorporation into newly established government agencies, but even so great unrest had and still continues to persist even to the modern day. This manifestation of Metahumans would eventually be known as the Delta-Storm and many theorize that it has happened before, and could happen again. After Delta-Storm, almost all the crystals were taken into government custody, but a few remained at large and it is theorized that they're growing in number.

Nicknamed "Super-Systems", Type-Yellow Metahumans have been infected with the yellow form of the Delta-Point Energy. These Metahumans have abilities that affect the bodies of either themselves or people around them via highly specific reality warping. Type-Yellow Metahumans are easily the most diverse, and most common type of Metahuman out there, with a good half of all Metahumans being some type of Type-Yellow. There are two main types; Personal and Impersonal. Personal Type-Yellows ability is only on a personal level, and their power changes their biology or allows them to, and they are the more common type. Impersonal Type-Yellows are the opposite; their power allows them to alter the bodies of other people, and they are somewhat less common. They can range from transformations to enhanced physical abilities, healing and regeneration, flight, and so forth.
♦ ＴＹＰＥ－ＲＥＤ ♦
Known as "Elementals", the Type-Red crystals grant Metahumans the ability to control matter, most of the time a specific element. Type-Reds are the second most common type of Metahuman out there, but those of this type usually have the most versatile and potential out of any kind of Metahuman. Many of them are fairly straightforward; they have the ability to control and/or create a specific type of element. Usually, it's one, but there are a few that can control many different elements that are either related. However, it's rare, but it's possible when a child is the product of two Type-Red that they would get the ability to use both of the elements. While many Type-Reds are straightforward, there are many that have more complex and unique forms of manipulation. Type-Reds are fairly diverse as it is likely one type red out there for each type of matter there is. Type-Reds can manipulate fire, water, earth, air, electricity, light, sound, and so forth.
♦ ＴＹＰＥ－ＢＬＵＥ ♦
Labelled "Cerebral", the Type-Blue crystals were fairly uncommon and thus not a lot of Metahumans out there are Type-Blues. However, the few that fall under this category are among the most feared, as Type-Blues are Metahumans that have a mental ability of some kind. A majority of Type-Blues have some type of mind reading or telekinesis, but some have abilities such as clairvoyance, foresight, and so on. They are easily the opposite of Type-Yellows as their powers are the least diverse, with a few exceptions. Type-Blues are feared because a majority of them have an ability that gathers information, and that's considered a huge breach of privacy. However, there's a type that's even worse; those that have been nicknamed "Domination-Types." These Domination types have the ability to exert their will on other lifeforms in some way, from controlling animals to possibly mind and emotional control. The direct ability to control the human mind is incredibly rare, but not unheard of. Very few of them directly affect the environment except telekinetics, but there are some capable of weaponizing their mental power, and so forth. Powers that fall under Type-Blue would be Telekinesis, Telepathy, Retro and Precognition, Astral Projection, Mind Control, Enhanced Intelligence, etc.
♦ ＴＹＰＥ－ＧＲＥＥＮ ♦
Nicknamed "Power" types out of all of the Metahuman Types, you'd be hardpressed to come across a Type-Green as they are the second rarest type of Metahuman out there. Their abilities allow them to directly interact with the abilities of others or otherwise are a limited control of the Delta-Point energy itself. These Metahumans are easily the least predictable and are the most situational. Their abilities require coming in contact with another Metahuman, either direct or indirect, and otherwise a majority of them are powerless. However, there are very rare instances where a Power-Type has the ability to grant others with superpowers. Type-Greens are the most sought after by relevant groups - and have the largest targets on them with only Type-Blues being second. It's very rare, but some Type-Greens have the ability to give normal people powers. Abilities that fall under Type-Green are power charging, negating, replication, and other abilities that revolve around the manipulation of superpowers.
♦ ＴＹＰＥ－ＷＨＩＴＥ ♦
The white Delta-Point Crystals are a mystery and are rarely sighted, but Type-White Metahumans are those that have abilities that do not fit into the above category. They are nicknamed "Wild-card" types, as they have the strangest and most abstract of all abilities, and some of which have control over time and space itself. Because of this, it's very difficult to classify them and very few Metahumans out there are Type-Whites.
♦ ＴＹＰＥ－ＣＨＲＯＭＡＴＩＣ ♦
Chromatic, or "Hybrid" types are the rare result when a Metahuman is exposed to two (or possibly more) different types of Delta-Point energy and are a very rare phenomenon. These Metahumans will manifest with a blend of the two types or will have one different power of each type. For an example of the former; a pyrokinetic may have flames that can burn the mind. For an example of the latter; a Tiger Metahuman may be able to produce lightning. It's completely random what kind of end result these Metahumans will produce, and difficult to classify. It's more likely to produce a Type-Chromatic when a Metahuman child is the product of two different Metahumans. These are the strangest type of Metahumans as there isn't a Delta-Crystal that directly creates them. However, Chromatic types are capable of gaining strength from two different types of Delta-Crystals and gives them a distinct advantage of other types.

Located in California, Verthaven was a massive metropolis centered in Southern California. However, it is best known for being the place the infamous Verthaven disaster took place, and it was promptly condemned afterward. Much of the beautiful city was destroyed, and after it was condemned, it was left to rot. Before, it was a coastal city that is Sandwiched between LA and San Francisco. It was known for its miles of beaches, and sea trade, and what it was also best known for is how it's carved up by a network of rivers. The main river is known as the Cross River and splits the city up into four halves by a cross. With hundreds of smaller rivers branching off from that one. Which the city was built around, and have well integrated into the city's layout. Which gives Verthaven a feel of Venice mixed with New York. Now, it's been reclaimed by nature. There are miles upon miles of flooded streets, and crumbling buildings, and it was the former location of the RAVEN/DOVE headquarters before it was destroyed. It hasn't been disturbed for years now, no one but the idiotic have braved the resting place of this tragedy. A few miles outside of Verthaven is the Verthaven Memorial Cemetery a graveyard in which all those who died in the disaster are buried. The whole cemetery is miles upon miles... and unfortunately, many of the graves are currently unmarked. It was known for its high amount of Metahumans, second to Black Fall in the United States. After the Verthaven disaster, a majority of them were killed, and the survivors went to Baybridge and Highroller Heights.

The proclaimed "The City of Freaks", Black Fall is famous because it has the most Metahumans congregated into one City (1% of all Metahumans live in Black Fall) and thus it is easily the most important location for Metahumans. The city went from a small fishing town to a major hub for gamblers, tourists, businessmen, and families, in the course of a few centuries. It contains people of almost every ethnic background and it is located in Pennsylvania, on the Delaware River, not too far away from Philadelphia. It is split down the middle by the river, with one part of the city on each side. Technically it is apart of New Jersey too, since one side of Black Fall is technically on the state of New Jersey. The West side of the city is known as "Old World Black Fall" where the city started. It has most of the population centers and major buildings that have been there from the start. The East side of the city is known as "New Black Fall" which is much more commercialized. It contains most of the clubs, casinos, and mansions. Black Falls holds the FAMA east coast headquarters.

Baybridge started out as several smaller towns that grew in size and it was decided that they would be one massive city, with the city being named after the massive bridge that connects it to the outside world. Baybridge is east of Seattle, though the city is much like it (though some areas can also be compared to Spokane or Bellingham). It's technically much larger than Seattle, but much of Baybridge's acres of land consist of miles and miles of woodland, farmlands, and etc. Not every inch of Baybridge consists of a sprawling concrete jungle. Baybridge isn't that much different from other major cities in the US. It has tall skyscrapers, booming businesses, and whatnot. The city has a little bit of everything. It's not particularly known for its tourist attractions, nor it's large amounts boom of tourists. Recently, Baybridge received a boom in population as people moved towards it in the aftermath of the Verthaven disaster. Most notably, Baybridge was selected to be the headquarters of the newly formed FAMA branch of the government which drew their Agents and Metahumans to the city. This increase in population gave Baybridge an economic boost and more or less turned Baybridge into one of the many Metahuman hotspots and Baybridge currently has the second highest population of Metahumans in the United States.

Located near the borders of Arizona and Nevada, Highroller Heights is the bastard son of Las Vegas (sometimes referred to as New Vegas). Massive, boiling hot, in the middle of an American desert, and gives you a great reason to check your shoes every morning. Just without the class and style that movies and other media outlets build it up to be; it's run down, the people are bitter, and just about everyone wants to make a quick buck - At the expense of others of course. This city has tons of casinos, and other fancy places to make the place look good for the tourists (the main source of income of Highroller Heights), but when you see the city for what it really is, you'll reconsider. By day it's a sandy city, a pleasant place if you know where to go. At night, the seven deadly sins take over; Sex workers, gangsters, drug dealers, rapists, and lunatics roam the streets. To say the least, crime is high here. Because corruption is rooted so deep, the crimes are brushed aside with a simple wad of cash. High-Roller Heights has racial diversity, so people of all colors are a common sight in this city, along with a high population. The city is located in the middle of an active desert. There is sand far as the eye can see, it's skin blistering hot, and since it's a desert; don't expect rain. superhumans are a common sight here. Metahumans have congregated here, for obvious reasons; property tax and standards are low, and there's a good time to be had.

Created over the course of a few decades, with heavy Metahuman involvement, Stadium City stands in Ohio. Stadium City was ordered by the President to be created by Metahumans in order to help alleviate the Anti-Metahuman hysteria and show that they are helpful. Stadium City, in design, doesn't appear too different from other cities. It has residential districts, a downtown, plenty of skyscrapers and more. It has plenty of Metahumans, however. After the construction of the city, many of the Metahumans that made it stayed in Stadium City and their descendants remained there. However, it was ridden with crime for decades, and for years, Stadium City's underground crime was utterly ruled by the Tyrants - a powerful metahuman mafia group run by the strongest. No one but a fool was willing to go anywhere near there. However, when the Verthaven disaster took place and RAVEN and DOVE were replaced; the Tyrants were first on FAMA's list of priorities. Eventually, the leadership of the Tyrants were either taken down or ran into hiding, but the Tyrants were disbanded. However, this had the opposite effect; without the Tyrants to keep things balanced; every gang or hooligan from all over could come in and make the city their home. Right now, Stadium City is a hive of crime and villainy as the many major gangs are literally tearing the city apart to gain control of it. The Intelligent System Designs Headquarters is also situated in Stadium City.

New Rivière City is a major metropolis set up at the site of an anomaly on the Louisiana River believed to be caused by ancient Metahumans. This is a belief because the anomaly doesn't appear on maps and data from years before the city was found, and the river is far too smooth. Leading up to New Rivière City, the river splits and goes two different directions around a land mass in which New Rivière City has been placed on. This simulates an island of sorts, with many bridges leading in and out of the island. The island is enormous, at least 71% of New Rivière's eighty-one square miles. Contrary to previous information, New Rivière is set on the island, and on the landmass around it (forming another circle). New Rivière is a city that was founded in 1762 once the river annex was located. French settlers placed a small village in the center of the island - quickly building outwards as the settlers realized the ports were profitable. From there, the city flourished through the years and modernization took place for decades to come. New Rivière City, like it's been stated before, is split up by the river that surrounds it. Known as the Inner and Outer Ring. The Inner-Ring of the city is basically the island that makes up the large majority of the city. In the Inner-Ring, it contains a majority of the city - which includes it's many residential and hedonistic areas. It's known for its bustling downtown area (more on that in a little bit) which contains many of the city's hubs of business and pleasure. Such as it's hotels, casinos, and whatnot. New Rivière is known for its restaurants and casinos. The Inner-Ring's tall buildings can be seen from all over the city. The Outer-Ring is usually the first part of the city people are exposed to - and it's not pretty. The Outer-Ring is where all the lower class are forced to stay due to lower property costs (in contrast, the Inner Ring is where all the middle and upper-class people are). New Rivière City has been called the bastard child of New Orleans, San Diego, Miami, and New York. The city has blends the aesthetic of those cities into a city that becomes alive in the night time. The streets are lined with neon signs advertising clubs, casinos, and bars. Every night people from all over roam the city looking for a good time and it's known as a city where tourists pour in by the thousands. However, it's also known for its fairly high Metahuman population.

The Federal Agency of Metahuman Affairs (Shortened to FAMA) is the Metahuman regulation agency that is responsible for the regulation of Metahumans after the rebranding of RAVEN/DOVE. Formed in 2003, they are an organization that is split into four departments; Metahuman Welfare, Public Affairs, Research, and Security. The first organization is more of a social services group that promotes the well-being, the physical and mental health of Metahumans. Welfare keeps track of all Metahumans that are registered and constantly gives support to these Metahumans so they aren't roped into a gang or become a super criminal. Public Affairs is more about dealing with Metahuman social issues and attempting to change the public perception of them for the best. The Research department solely focuses on trying to figure out how these Metahumans tick and developing new technology and methods to handle rogue Metahumans. Security is the largest department and the one tasked with the detainment of Metahumans who abuse their powers. FAMA is volunteer-based, long as people meet a certain set of requirements, they can apply to join the Agency. However, they are fairly strict with their recruitment and primarily hire those with the required experience, though there have been exceptions made. FAMA consists of both regular humans and Metahumans, as the latter are considered valuable assets in the never-ending battle against hostile Metahumans. The organization is considered to be a paramilitary organization as agents are given special training on how to handle various Metahuman threats, and how to handle certain situations that are Metahuman related. Field Agents of FAMA wear heavy armor that is resistant to most forms of Metahuman abilities and is heavily armed with top of the line firearms and other equipment (Nullification collars, taser darts, containment foam). The Agency has an outpost in every major city and they are in fact designated from a one to hundred number depending on the size of the city (e.g. New York City is 1, Los Angeles is 3, and so on) and each outpost has a Director who oversees all operations within the city. Smaller towns have agents delegated from the closest major outpost. On the west and east coast, there is a national headquarters where a majority of operations are run out of. FAMA is what largely keeps watch over the Academy Program.

Following the Verthaven disaster, the United Nations decided to get more involved in the politics of Metahumans. Specifically, the terrorist Metahuman groups, those who intend on using Metahumans for illegal gains, and other such groups, to preserve world peace. MAVERICK was suggested by Natalie Bright, a high ranking member of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations to help build relations between Metahumans and humans all around the world. The end result was an elite task force gathered from Metahumans and humans alike that collaborates with global Metahuman regulation groups. MAVERICK's main goal is to keep balance in the Metahuman world by challenging threats such as the Allegiance, and the Pure - but, their main objective as of now has been combating Abel and his REAPER group. So far, MAVERICK is an enormous group, that consists of people from many different countries and training - It mainly consists of those from America, and Britain, but there is a sizable amount of Africans due to the work MAVERICK does there. The group is heavily armed with the best technology that the United Nations was willing to donate, however, FAMA donates a large chunk of their technology to them. What makes them notable is that they've been actively seeking out Metahumans, specifically the kinds that deal with technology or have heightened intelligence of some kind. The ISD has released some incredible pieces out technology out to the world, including robotics, and more. The Verthaven disaster has brought Metahuman relations to an all-time low; Metahumans were being killed left and right and the government wasn't doing anything. Which is why one man assembled a group to fight back against the enemies of Metahumans - which snowballed into a larger group. Declaring themselves an "Allegiance" formed between Metahumans to defend themselves from others; the Allegiance can roughly be declared the antithesis to the Pure. They fight for the defense and supremacy of Metahumans, driven by the anger of Meta-children being slaughtered. They have been tightly engaged in a conflict with the Pure, but they've also been going also after the Saviors and the Liu Pharmaceutical company. The main problem is that they've been causing large amounts of property damage, and shows a form of racism that makes them no different from the Pure (However, they do not go around killing nonhumans). The Allegiance has been a prime target of the newly formed FAMA, and the organization has clashed many times in the past.

Nemesis of the FAMA and MAVERICK organizations, REAPER is a strange and heavily armed paramilitary terrorist group. They are lead by the mysterious Abel, a massive man who is feared globally as he has killed dozens of politicians, researchers, millionaires and beyond. He is incredibly difficult to kill as he is seeming a Metahuman that is insanely strong and durable. Assisted by a strange portal technology, REAPER gets right where they need to go and then they vanish without a trace. Each member of REAPER is clad in black armor that covers them from head to toe, helmets that distort their voice, and are heavily armed. In the event that one of them dies (or are about to die), they are equipped with a strange chemical that dissolves their body down to the DNA and leaves no trace. Because of this, it's incredibly difficult to identify members of REAPER and trace where they came from. However, several REAPERS are Metahumans, with the elite members of the group being all Metahuman shock troopers. It's difficult to pinpoint where REAPER will target as they are responsible for hundreds of assassinations, kidnappings, and other terrorist attacks globally. Most notably RAVEN went to war with REAPER before and during the Verthaven disaster that made them known globally.

The White Spider Society is a very mysterious organization that specializes in sex. They've been operating for decades now and they own several expensive clubs and brothels all over Europe - quickly branching into North America, and Asia. The Organization itself is owned and lead by White Arachne, a very wealthy and mysterious woman. She has enough money in order to support the Society, and pay off anyone who might bring up any issues with the society. She keeps the organization nicely organized by hiring "managers" who run individual city operations, and "district managers" who run the larger operations in countries (usually the daughters of White Arachne). Though White Arachne has supreme control over the entire organization - and sometimes shows up in her own clubs. The White Spider Society is very mysterious, despite having public brothels and clubs open to everyone. They keep as much about the inner-workings of the organization a secret. For good reason, the Society owns a lot of the prostitution rings in Europe, and manage high-quality prostitutes in every major city. Along with importing/exporting prostitutes into other countries. The Society also has an interest in catering to "acquired tastes" which come in the form of Metahumans. They primarily recruit Metahumans with Bestial power-sets to work in their brothels. The Society is also responsible for global drug trafficking, extortion, and other mafia-like business endeavors. The members are recruited, and only those who can uphold the Society's standard are allowed in - Men or women, black or white, they do not discriminate. Its members are noted for wearing animal-themed masquerade masks, white, pinstriped, suits, and having incredibly polite, butler-like, personalities. These are to make the members blend into each other as much as possible (And keep their identities a secret).

Labelled a terrorist group by a majority of the world, BASILISK truly sees themselves as misunderstood freedom fighters. They are a group that wishes to abolish the "oppressive" Metahuman regulation of the world and gets revenge against the same organizations that ruined their lives. As many of them are former RAVEN agents or those scorned by the said Metahuman regulations. They fight for justice, and to expose the corruption in these organizations that cause more harm than good; BASILISK is responsible for many leaks, and attacks on many agents around the world. Most notably they were the ones that bombed the United Kingdom's Metahuman regulation's organization headquarters. Because of this, BASILISK is fairly high on MAVERICK and FAMA's priority list. BASILISK is a fairly small organization, consisting of a few dozen people that have no choice but to remain in the shadows. Separate from each other in order for them not to get captured. To mock FAMA, RAVEN, and DOVE each member of BASILISK has a reptile-themed codename to contrast with their avian motif.
♦ ＤＯＶＥ/ＲＡＶＥＮ (Defunct) ♦
After the Delta-Point Event RAVEN and DOVE were established as a means of regulating these groups. Each was dedicated to a different field; DOVE's best interest is the protection, social and mental development of Metahumans, and taking steps prevent them from becoming threats in the future. While RAVEN's primary objective is the investigation, apprehending, and detainment of Metahumans who have broken the law. Both organizations work hand in hand, as they are technically two sides of the same coin. They were fairly effective, but rumors of brutality and corruption were rampant, and some feared they were too independent for their own good. However, once the Verthaven Disaster occurred and the war with REAPER was publicized, the government saw the faults in the two organizations and they were both dissolved. Eventually, the FAMA was introduced with the best of both organizations and more government supervision.

In the summer of 2002, the REAPER group moved in on the city of Verthaven and was selling serums that granted superpowers to the gangs of the city. Which turned the city almost on its head overnight as the gangs were armed with new weapons After many skirmishes with RAVEN, it was discovered that Verthaven was the primary headquarters for the REAPER group. Upon that discovery, almost every government agency moved in on the city, and a massive war between the terrorist group erupted. Turning the city into an enormous war zone that caused countless property damage, killed many in the crossfire, and displaced hundreds. The war was reaching national news as many were protesting the decisions behind the war with REAPER, calling it overly destructive. This war against REAPER went on for three months as both sides made significant progress against each other. However, the situation changed drastically when a new Metahuman emerged from the shadows. Calling herself "The Devil of Verthaven", this woman was a drug addict whose husband was killed in the crossfire between RAVEN and REAPER, and she also got her hands on a power serum. That serum gave her the strongest power in the whole world, being capable of creating an army of monsters and control the weather on a macro-scale. The Devil's first act was to unleash her dark army upon the world, and her second was to make the city dangerous to traverse with incredibly dangerous weather patterns. Her goal was to get revenge against a world that took everything from her.
Evacuation efforts were underway, but the Devil threatened to destroy the whole world. It's hard to discover who was responsible for it, but a massive energy barrier was erected over Verthaven. This barrier was immune to any type of superpower and was invulnerable to harm - thus trapping everyone with the monster. Because everyone was trapped, the Devil was free to kill indiscriminately and the population of nearly a million was reduced to thousands in less than a month. In a final bid to destroy the Devil, RAVEN and REAPER teamed up and engaged in one final battle against her, killing her with an experimental weapon. Once her death was reported the dome came down and it seemed that the dust had settled.
The opposite had occurred as the world was outraged at how RAVEN and DOVE handled the situation and got thousands of people killed rather than evacuating them. RAVEN and DOVE were blamed for the barrier even though it's still unknown who created it, which made the sentiments towards RAVEN when they were fighting REAPER even worse. In the end, it was decided that RAVEN and DOVE would be dissolved, and a new organization would replace them.
However, after the disaster, more Delta-Point Crystals were seemingly being found in places where they shouldn't have been.

Baybridge started out as several smaller towns in close proximity to each other in a seemingly isolated part of Washington state. Due to its unique geography, it was quite difficult to get to the land. Sandwiched between a massive mountain, and a massive lake, seemingly the only way to get to the land was by crossing the lake or going around the lake. After an explorer wanted to find out what was on the other side, he took a team with him, and then discovered a wide track of undisturbed fertile land. He moved in with a group of people and built a settlement. This was the first of Baybridge's founding towns, Prince Ed-Field, as the settler (named Edward) tried to declare that this land belonged to him. However, that became difficult when other people started moving in to claim the new land. Forming the four other towns would eventually become Baybridge, Silver Hills towards the north (closer to the mountain), Hedgemount towards the east, Roseview towards the south, and White Coast to the west - which was built around the lake.
As time passed, a bridge was built over the lake, and then the city began to see much more activity and began to boom during the early 1900s after World War II. The five towns began developing into cities which grew and expanded over time until eventually, they began to overlap a bit, making it incredibly difficult to set boundaries. However, in 1950, it was decided that the five towns would be unified into one city: which was named Baybridge - named after the bridge that caused the city to become a metropolis. Fast forward to central times, Baybridge is a massive metropolis in north-west Washington. Each of the former towns is their own part of the larger city - they can be called different sections of the city. They're somewhat spaced out from each other, being nothing more than a long walk away from each other. The best way to describe them now is "Districts," since they're different communities of the city with their own distinct characteristics. Each of the people in each of these former towns regards themselves as their own communities.
Baybridge is east of Seattle, though the city is much alike it (though some areas can also be compared to Spokane or Bellingham). It's technically much larger than Seattle, but much of Baybridge's acres of land consist of miles and miles of woodland, farmlands, and etc. Not every inch of Baybridge consists of a sprawling concrete jungle. The five towns are where most of the population is. Baybridge isn't that much different from other major cities in the US. It has tall skyscrapers, booming businesses, and whatnot. The city has a little bit of everything. It's not particularly known for its tourist attractions, nor it's large boom of tourists. However, Baybridge is known for its rather diverse population. While Caucasians make up a large majority of the city's population, Baybridge is also known for its relatively large Asian community, which makes up the second largest ethnic group - leading to Asian stores being a common sight. Filipinos have the highest population, followed by Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Japanese coming in dead last. African-Americans are the third main ethic group, followed by Latinos, Native Americans, and Pacific Islanders. Because of this diversity, Baybridge is known for its variety of different stories, and buildings.
Recently, Baybridge received a boom in population as people moved towards it in the aftermath of the Verthaven disaster. Most notably, Baybridge was selected to be the headquarters of the newly formed RAVEN/DOVE branch of the government which drew their Agents, and Metahumans to the city. This increase in population gave Baybridge an economic boost and more or less turned Baybridge into one of the many Metahuman hotspots. Even following the terrorist attacks from the Founding Family several years ago, the city has managed to maintain this status as the 'hub' of Metahuman politics on the West Coast.
Baybridge is also known for it's two unique geographical features. First, the massive lake is known as Lake Fair Cove, which stands on the east of Baybridge. This lake is large enough to separate Baybridge from the outside world, necessitating a bridge to cross to it, or the roads that go around it. This lake isn't directly connected to any major rivers or oceans, so there's little traffic going through it, which makes it great for people to rent boats and go out on it to fish. However, many have found that it's surprisingly deep. The other main feature of Baybridge is the Ever Reaching Mountains. A very tall mountain range that forms a crescent around Baybridge. It's very difficult to get past the mountain - however, there are a few resorts set up on it. Because of these features, the only way to get in and out of Baybridge realistically was by crossing the lake on a boat or going on a long trek around the lake. Now, the Brave Water Bridge provides an easy way in, along with the roads alongside Lake Fair Cove.
The weather in Baybridge is quite fair. It's not known to get hot, but it can get quite cold during the winter months. Baybridge is known to be a very rainy city. During the fall and winter months, Baybridge gets much rain - though it can be rainy in the summer. Baybridge also gets snow, at least eight inches during the winter.
▶: BAYBRIDGE'S TOWNS & DISTRICTS
▶: PRINCE ED-FIELD
Price Ed-Field was the very first of the towns that turned into Baybridge. It was constructed in the very center of Baybridge and is easily the most expansive of the five cities. Prince Ed-Field is more or less the "face" of Baybridge, as it holds it's downtown areas, along with many of Baybridge's most important areas, such as city hall, power plants, etc. Prince Ed-Field is easily the nicest part of Baybridge, as extra care is put into keeping the streets clear and clean. This is where you'll see the most diverse amounts of people walking the streets, from the restaurant to stores. Though this is the most patrolled part of Baybridge, and it's hard to commit crimes.
When Edward first settled in Baybridge, he created a village in which would expand into Prince Ed-Field. This village eventually became a town, which evolved into a city. The very first buildings created became the very heart of the city, and the whole section of the city was declared Regal Square in tribute to what started it all. Out of these buildings, Edward's former mansion built at the top of a hill eventually found purpose as the city hall. This district contains incredibly old buildings that have been refurbished time and time again, particularly in the last few years following the destruction caused by the Founding Family. There aren't a lot of houses in this district - and what houses are there are protected by the preservation society. Based within Regal Square is the central headquarters for the Baybridge Police Department, Baybridge's General Hospital, etc.
Old Raygate is a district out of the way of the nicer parts of Prince Ed-Field (they would put it behind a wall if they could!). Lined with factories, chemical plants, warehouses and power plants that sustain the city's need for industry, it serves as the lifeblood of Baybridge. Raygate was originally where most of the jobs were, but with the rise of white collar jobs, it's somewhat fallen into decline. Now, Old Raygate is known for its (mostly) blue-collar workers willing to do the jobs that the middle to upper-class regard with disdain. Old Raygate isn't run down, but the property values over here have a tendency to be lower than the rest of the city, with clusters of low-budget apartments tightly packed into its compact residential sector. Raygate contains plenty of shitty cafes, bars, and restaurants for the workers getting off from work.
Bordering Old Raygate is the slightly younger district of New Raygate, initially established in the Post-War economic boom for the many returning war veterans who sought employment in Old Raygate's vast industrial sector. Intended as a residential sector, New Raygate is covered largely by low-maintenance housing as well as other community assets (with reduced funding) but has since become a shadow of its former self, having gone into a steep decline over the last few decades. Unemployment and a rising crime rate left its mark on the area, particularly during the Crack Epidemic of the 80s and 90s. Things have somewhat calmed since then, though make no mistake - New Raygate is still impoverished.
Courtbridge is the downtown and cultural center of Baybridge. It's where the city truly shines in the diversity area. Courtbridge contains many stores, restaurants (with great food), and other novelty shops that won't crop up anywhere else. They range from corporate own businesses, to smaller, privately owned businesses. If there's something you want to get out of Prince Ed-Field, it's here. While walking through Courtbridge, you'll see a wide variety of different cultures - with Asian businesses being the most common, however you'll see plenty of Greek, German, Spanish, and African stores (mainly restaurants). There's also quite a few clubs, raves, and etc, in Courtbridge. Plenty of corporate office buildings block out the sun in this district.
LOWER SOUTH ROYER TOWN
Ed-Field's residential district - for the rich and fabulous of course. This is where all the expensive houses, apartments, condos, and other high rises are located. Upper-class homes that are well furnished decently styled with Victorian/European influences. There are also a few mansions in this area. These houses should not be purchased unless you're ready to pay a steep price.
▶: SILVER HILLS
Silver Hills is located far north of Prince Ed-Field, a ten or so minute drive from Prince Ed-Field - however, it's the furthest away from the other towns. Silver Hills, as the name implies, is elevated high up compared to the rest of the city. Silver Hills is up closer towards the Ever Reaching mountains, and it's much colder than the rest of Baybridge. It's a tad more suburban than the rest of Baybridge. This is where most of Baybridge's fancy high-class areas are, and holds a great deal of Baybridge's population.
The primary residential district of Silver Hills, Stonecliff makes up a majority of Silver Hills. There is a large majority of middle-classed citizens living in Stonecliff. Compared to the other districts, Stonecliff is a tad more rustic than the other houses, but many of the houses have been updated. There is a small amount of family-owned stores, and restaurants, but there isn't too much more to note about Stonecliff.
Towards the very edges of Silver Hills (and Baybridge), Greenflower Garden is a small section of the city not too far off Stonecliff. It's a more rural, spacious, area of the city which is mostly home to farms. However, Greenflower is wine country. It's home to miles and miles of vineyards, and wineries. The Greenflower Wine Company (named after Green Flower) primarily owns Greenflower Garden. Plenty of wine is exported from Greenflower, and it's known as a major source of revenue for the little district. Greenflower Garden doesn't have a lot of houses (and those houses are out of the way, and expensive), but it has plenty of resorts.
Hailey Boulevard makes up a large percentage of Silver Hills Business. It's where a large amount of businesses are located (Along with a few company buildings). You can find some nice restaurants and stores here. Nothing much of note here other than the certain other buildings which have been built recently. The ISD, and Savior Foundation have been moving up into Baybridge, choosing Hailey Boulevard as their base of operations. The ISD in particular have been building labs left and right. Along with building a university so they can bring more activity into Baybridge - specifically Silver Hills. Which has been successful, thus far.
With the small boom that the ISD and the Saviors brought to Silver Hills merely by choosing it to be the next site of their major labs (And starting schools), the question came where were they going to get housing? Simple, move into Rosalyn street. Not that far off from Hailey Boulevard, Rosalyn street was a rather small community of apartments that are now getting a boom in business due to employees needing housing near their jobs. This is also the hipster capital of Baybridge. Expect to see clubs, record stores, and a terrible sense of fashion.
STRONG GOLD COMMUNITY
Located not that far away from the Hailey Boulevard used to rest a bunch of lands that weren't being used for anything. Houses that were so old and decrepit that nobody wanted them. The Liu Pharmaceutical Company - in cooperation with the Savior Foundation - bought this land (Over time that is) in order to build a new community for those who have been impoverished, or misplaced by the Verthaven disaster. For the next couple of years, they have been constructing a new community full of cheap and affordable housing (Located close to several job opportunities). Most of these houses are two story buildings.
Suburbs far north of Stonecliff, a very quaint part of the city. However, Fogtown is known for it's high population of elderly people. Fogtown is mostly where the nice one story houses are. They're affordable with retirement money, and it's where many of Baybridge's elderly go to enjoy their retirement. There isn't a whole lot of activity in Fogtown, it's fairly quiet and relaxed - no stereos, or cars driving around constantly. It's unlikely you'll see too many people walking around that aren't old - however, you'll see plenty of grand kids having a great time playing in the streets. As expected, there isn't a lot of business in Fogtown.
East of Prince Ed-Field, Hedgemount is the primary residential district of Baybridge and is the largest district of all Baybridge (it could be a town on its own). It's lined with rows and rows of houses, apartments, duplexes, etc. The three main neighborhoods of Hedgemount are different socioeconomic areas - the upper, middle, and lower class neighborhoods. There aren't too many interesting sights here for the tourists, the only thing that would warrant a trip would be Strongriver Plaza and Fallbridge Square. Each of these three neighborhoods surrounds Strongriver Plaza which is in the center of the town.
An upper-class neighborhood. This is where the upper class goes to live - but it's also where the upper-middle class also call home. It has many fancy hours, along with a surprising amount of mansions, and nice apartments. These areas are heavily patrolled and protected in the interest of defending the top class of Baybridge. However, Fallbridge Square also contains several nice restaurants, shopping malls, and various other places. It's the main mall, the Supernova Mall - is easily the biggest mall in the city, and is visited from all over the west coast.
Strongriver Plaza is the fun center of Hedgemount - for those who don't want to hassle with Courtbridge. Strongriver Plaza provides a different kind of entertainment than Courtbridge. It's where the clubs, casinos, and bars are. Not the most fancy place, but it's definitely there for people who want to have a great time. Even for those after a more elicit brand of fun. The White Spider Society owns a great deal of the clubs and whatnot in Strongriver. If there's a nice club, it belongs to them. Because of the White Spider Society's influence, prostitution is very high in Strongriver. You could throw a rock and hit a prostitute. Strongriver is also where The Society's "headquarters" is. There's plenty of houses and whatnot spaced in between these buildings - the usual cheap houses, and the fancier apartments. Though hotels are far more common.
A district middle-class neighborhood built around a lake. This is the largest part of Hedgemount as it contains Baybridge's hefty middle-class population. Most of the houses in Woodlake are single houses, two floors (a couple is one floor), and look quite suburban. There's a lot of these houses, and they come in many shapes and sizes - and otherwise, the neighborhoods are quite nice looking. Other than that, there isn't really a lot more to Woodlake.
Springtown is the poverty-ridden part of Baybridge where the blue collar citizens that can't afford to move into the other districts tend to go, so they're forced into small, one story houses. Projects were also created throughout Springtown to provide housing in the Post-War economic boom, but in the last few decades the crime rate skyrocketed as a result of the Crack Epidemic and now, unsurprisingly, crime and poverty are still a persistent issue throughout the area.
Roseview is the part of Baybridge which has the least urbanization, but it's technically the largest section of Baybridge. Because it holds the quite expansive wooded areas of the city. Located far south from Prince Ed-Field, Roseview is primarily consistent of woods, rural areas, and farms - which normally wouldn't attract people, but some people are interested in that kind of thing. The buildings in Roseview are quite rustic, which is what gives it charm. In the populated areas of Roseview, expect to find plenty of music clubs, record stores, and the sort, as music is a great part of Roseview's own little culture.
The farmers in Havenfield need to get their goods from somewhere. Faircrest consists of miles upon miles of quaint farmlands. Now these areas are really rural, and it's unexpected if someone comes through here. As the farms are usually miles apart from each other, they have very little contact. Faircrest Woods, as the name implies, is also a heavily wooded area, making up a great deal of Roseview's size. These woods are full of all sorts of critters. They're what separates each farm from each other.
Eastgriffin is a long-abandoned community in the middle of the woods. It started out as a resort of some sorts back in the 70's deep inside the Faircrest Woods. It had a spa, a hotel, and there was even an Academy being built there (The original Academy 61) all sorts of places for people just to lie back and relax. It eventually grew into a small community which was dubbed the "Eastgriffin Community." However after a strange attack launched on the community (REAPER is believed to have been behind it), the community was mostly destroyed, and abandoned. Now, it's simply a decrepit ghost town. It's been rotting in the woods for years because no one has really bothered to come in and tear the place down, out of respect for the fallen in the attack. It's often used as an exploring grounds, and a place to take spooky pictures.
Havenfield Market, as the name suggests, is a large district dedicated to a variety of shops and restaurants owned by the farmers of Roseview. It's a mixture of permanent buildings, and structures that are raised and lowered as the need arises. This is where you'd get fresh ingredients created by local farmers, as each of them owns a store of some sort to sell their items. Every Saturday and Sunday, there is a large farmer market event in which people from all over come and set up stalls on the street. Selling food, art, and other goods. It can be best described as a flea market that sells foods.
Of course, Roseview needs it's own residential community. Each of these houses are some of the oldest in Baybridge - but not old as they are in Regal Square or North Fogtown, plenty have been updated. Little Second consists of people who want a more laid back location to live in. It's almost like it's own small town, which is quite the departure from the urbanized Seattle-like Baybridge. Much like the name implies, there are plenty of little lakes and river that people live alongside. Natives of Little Second often swim in these bodies of water.
Located outside of Little Seapond is the Waterbridge Airport. A massive airport complex that takes up a great deal of land. It's called the water bridge Airport because it's surrounded by a river that goes to the Northdeer National Park (Which eventually ends at the waterfall), and it technically an "island" of the sorts. The Waterbridge Airport is the other main way in and out of Baybridge (Since it's a bit of a challenge to get in and out of). You can expect to see plenty of planes coming in and out of the Waterbridge Airport carrying not only people, but supplies, deliveries, and whatnot. Much like the rest of Baybridge, Waterbridge has a living community not too far away from it. There's also plenty of hotels in this area.
NORTH DEER NATIONAL PARK
Located far south in Roseview is the North Deer National park, a major park that makes up quite a bit of the Roseview district. Northdeer is a well maintained park that has a wide network of pathways that take people through the scenic parks of the Faircrest Woods. The pathways mostly follow a large river, and take people all over the Park. You can see joggers, bike riders, and people out on picnics and barbecues all over the place. It's a great place for all of that, because there are several rest areas throughout the park. The entire park ends at a waterfall down by the Ever Reaching Mountains, and many people stop here. However, off the paths, there's a great deal of other scenic areas, which have plenty of critters... Ranging from the harmless, to the dangerous.
Roseview's "downtown." It's a large community that's centered around a large lake in the middle of the city. This community is where all the shopping centers, fancy houses, and whatnot are. Including Roseview's former city hall (Before the entire city hall was delegated to Prince Ed-Field), a museum, and an aquarium. People are often seen renting boats out and taking them out on the lake.
Deep within the Faircrest Woods was the location of Academy 61. It's located far away Seapond, Havenfield, and any farmlands. In fact, it was originally farmland that was bought by the Academy Program and re-purposed into the education grounds for Metahumans. It's a large mansion-like building hidden by a sea of trees. This mansion contains everything a young and aspiring Metahuman needs; dorms, training rooms, and educational centers. There's a large fence around the academy's ground to denounce where it is, and to avoid animals and people from intruding upon the location. The Academy makes full use of the wooded areas for training exercises and more. Academy 61 itself is quite large, and has hundreds of students from all over - it's also well staffed. After Academy 12 (Verthaven's academy) was more or less destroyed, many of the students from there were shuffled.
▶: WHITE COAST
White Coast is the westernmost part of Baybridge, and it's was the small village that was built on the coast of Lake Fair Cove. Now, it's been expanded to encompass a large chunk of Lake Fair Cove, and is the first place that new arrivals usually show up at. Back in the day, it was the harbor that connected the five towns to the rest of the world. When the bridges were built over the lake, White Coast was repurposed into a much different locale. A place that takes full advantage of the massive lake before them to form a coastal city. White Coast is known for it's beaches, love of music, and so forth.
The Oakdell Harbor used to be the only way out of Baybridge back in the day. Now that there's bridges, the Harbor is no longer a true harbor. Right now, it's more of an entertainment district, and the harbor has been converted into a lengthy boardwalk which features many coastal restaurants and novelty businesses. The harbor is known for renting boats of the sort to go out on the lake. There's also the many beaches of Baybridge on Oakdell right beyond the docks. These beaches range from private, to public. Oakdell has plenty of houses - most notably the sizable house-boat population that exists on the harbor. Oakdell Harbor was the target of the Overload attack a few months ago, and a massive hurricane tore through the beach land. Destroying a large chunk of it.
FESTIVAL OF JOY
On the boardwalk, and over the beach, is a large amusement park set up on the pier. This amusement park is quite large (Not as large as other amusement parks, however), and can be seen from all over the White Coast. It has a giant Ferris wheel, a roller coaster, and various other fun games. With a small admission fee, you and your family can enjoy the Festival of Joy.
Located on the Oakdell Harbor is the Starrybanks. It's the nightlife center of White Coast that boomed in the 70's. Starrybank is known for it's multitude of night and strip clubs, which are also mostly owned by the White Spider Society. It also has some casinos, bars, and restaurants. Starrybank is known for the colorful lights that shine at night. Walk on the boardwalk and you'll see various spotlights pointing towards the sky. You can also expect many fireworks to be launched from here.
RAVEN/DOVE WEST COAST JOINT HEADQUARTERS
A previously inhabited archipelago was chosen to be the new headquarters for the newly formed RAVEN & DOVE organizations. More specifically the west coast branch of the organization. This is where all locations in the west coast branch of RAVEN/DOVE are decided, and operations are carried out from there. Connected to a large bridge, the Headquarters is a large building much in appearance to the FBI Headquarters. Several stories tall - but no tower that the previous NEST Headquarters was. The building is painted black, and has a fancy stone pathway which has a fountain on it. Leading into the main lobby, from there the building goes into a variety of different locations which serve a small function to keep the bigger machine going. Offices for DOVE. An armory for RAVEN. Along with a mission control centers, labs, training halls, lounges, and a lot of other offices. Following the terrorist attack on the HQ three years ago, a number of additional security features have been fitted to the building in an attempt to deter future attacks.
A fishing community that was set up on the coast of the Lake. It was technically where all of White Coast started and acts as the community's "downtown." There are many stores, and businesses operating here - most importantly of all, the fishing businesses. Since fishing is such a big part of Springshore's community, expect to see many bait shops, fishing stores, and boat stores. If you ever want to go fishing in Baybridge, Springshore should be your first stop.
Much like the other towns, White Coast has it's own residential district which is located westwards more towards the mainland. Greencrest is a neighborhood with a diverse amounts of economic classes, and whatnot. The houses are truly no different from the homes you'd find in Hedgemount. Greencrest is considered to be the rival to Roseview for Baybridge's musical culture center. It has many musical clubs, and parks where concerts are held - however, it isn't as expansive as Roseview. There are places in Greencrest for fans of extreme sports. Bike shops, skateboarding stores, surfing, BMX stores, and more. Skateboarding is a common sight in Greencrest (even though it's been banned on sidewalks), there's also plenty of skateparks in Greencrest.
The rather impoverished community within Baybridge. It's not the worst part of Baybridge, but on the very outskirts of White Coast is Brookacres. Full of run down and cheap houses, and red, Brookacres is often called the "poor white trash" part of Baybridge. Brookacres is also known to be dense with the anti-metahuman sentiment - so much so that it's largely believed that the Pure are operating out of this area.
