Ness smiled towards Kennedy, "Mess is never a problem." She said with a bit of a laugh.
She looked around as she entered, Ra quickly moving onto her shoulder from Kennedy's.
Ness smiled as she took in the entire apartment. "Its quaint." She said with a smile, "I like it."

Ness moved to scratch her arm slightly, "You wouldn't happen to have a shower... I could steal?" She asked, she felt odd saying this, but she needed to get herself clean.

"Oh, yes, just down the hall, the door on the left. Also, do you happen to be hungry?" Kennedy asked, hurriedly trying to tidy up the kitchen and match up the Tupperware, a hopeless task. Most of them never had a match in the first place.

Nessa paused, looking back at Kennedy as she mentioned about food, "Oh yeah, food would be great!" She said, walking back into the kitchen with a look around. She saw the plants and smiled, "House plants!" She said happily, "I've heard about this, it's usual human culture yeah?"

"Yeah." Kennedy replied, looking over her shoulder as she moved a few pots out of the kitchen sink. "I've given them names, although I don't think that's a normal part of human culture involving house plants. Occasionally I talk to them too...I don't think a lot of people do that either, but I've heard it's supposed to make them grow better." Small talk. This was good. Keep it small.

Nessa gave a smile when she confirmed her words, "That's sweet!" She said with a smile, "I love that. Giving things names is a good idea." She moved and placed her bag against the wall.
She looked to Kennedy with a bigger smile, "Talking to them is fine, I talk to Ra all the time." She paused momentarily, "Does that count? Considering he's sentient?"

Ra gave a bit of a squeak as he ran down Ness's arms and looked at the plants close up.
He moved to lift one up and sniffed at it, holding it firmly and carefully, before he moved and hugged the pot to the specific plant he held.

"I'm not sure." Kennedy replied, watching Ra hug one of the pots. "That one's Reggie. Bit of an old fashioned name, I know."

Ra's tail wagged as Kennedy mentioned the plants name; he gave a small grumble-sound towards the plant as its name was said.
Nessa gave a small smile, "Hey so.." She started quickly, "May I steal your bathroom?" She asked with a nervous smile.

At the other side of the city, another ship slowly landed.
A tall, slender cloaked figure stepped out of the ship. Their cloak was white, adorned with the Council's sygil. Their deep red eyes looking over the area before narrowing.
"Perfect." She said with a small sneer, "A useless planet."

"Yeah, go ahead, it's the first door on the left. I'm sorry if it's a bit messy, I wasn't expecting company." Kennedy laughed, watching Ra with the plant.

Ness waved her hand with a laugh, she headed into the bathroom and stripped down quietly before starting the shower.
She wasn't intending to take a long Shower; just a quick in and out. She needed to get the dust off her skin, but she didn't want Ra stuck outside without her for so long.

Ra placed Reggie down and looked over the other plants.

"That one is Harold, and the one next to it is Daniel." Kennedy smiled, pointing to two other plants on the windowsill, watching Ra. the kitchen was mostly clean by now and the dishes had been cleared from the sink.

Ra looked at Kennedy as she spoke to him, his ears flicking quietly at her words before he pointed towards another plant before looking back to the human with a tilt of his head.

Nessa got out of the shower after about five minutes, her skin almost drying off instantly.
She slipped back on her clothes and frowned, they were slightly dirty- slightly torn but still wearable at least. She blinked slowly, looking down at her pure white scar on her chest, it was shaped like a diamond-like star.

"That's Gerard. His brother, William, is on the other side." Kennedy continued. She genuinely enjoyed this. It was like a game testing her knowledge of her own plants.

Ra followed Kennedy's words, nodding before he looked back at the plants. His tail flicked before he bounced over everything towards the Kitchen, hopping up onto the bench as he looked around.
His nose twitched, trying to pick up on the smell of food, specifically fruit if he could get his paws on anything.

Ness pulled her top over her scar properly, pulling her shirt fully and flexed her arms. Her wings wriggled their way out of the slots on her shirt.
She ruffled her hair before she exited out of the bathroom, looking towards Ra and Kennedy with a small smile. She didn't speak a word, wanting to keep quiet, leaning against the wall to watch everything happen.

"What are you looking for?" Kennedy asked the creature, watching him scamper over the counters. "I'd give you fruit, but I'm not sure what you're allowed to have." She explained to him, clearing a few dishes she had missed out of his way.

Ra's ears pricked up at the word 'fruit', he gave a chirrup and tapped his hands on the counter with a flick of his tail.
"He's asking for any sort of fruit really." Ness said with smile, watching Ra jump before turning to face her. He let out a string of clicks and grumbled before jumping over to her and climbing up her body to sit on her shoulder.

"Hey darling. You had fun with Kennedy?" Ness asked with a small grin, Ra let out a small whine like sound and pointed to the plants.

"Is he allowed to have any kind of fruit?" Kennedy asked, eyeing the bowl of fruit on the counter opposite her. "I know a lot of people with pets around these parts are particular about what their pets get fed."

Ness nodded,"He's omnivorous." She started, "He can eat essentially anything we can eat." She paused, "Well, apart from processed stuff. He's a fan of fruit and dairy. But he gets sick from too much dairy." She said with a laugh.

She stepped over to the counter and gently moved to pet Ra, who pressed into her hand happily with a small click and mumble.

"I've got some mango here if he wants it." Kennedy said, holding up a mango from the fruit bowl. "Also, do you like gyros?" She asked.

Nessa looked at Kennedy as she asked about 'Gyros', "I've... Heard of those." She started, "Those are like the weird... Sandwich things yeah?"
Ra leaped off Ness's shoulder and landed on the counter and reached out gently towards Kennedy.
He let out a small cackle sound with a wiggle of his tail.

"Yeah, kind of, they're like shavings of pork of chicken wrapped up in a really thick tortilla." Kennedy described, cutting up the mango and handing a cube of it to Ra. "I think they're pretty good."
