When morning came Elsa woke up and saw he was asleep still and smiled at him. She slowly got out of bed without waking him left the room, closing the door behind her quietly, and went to the kitchen to make some pancakes for she found the recipe and stuff to make them and started to get to work on that.

Even though Cody could smell it, he didn't wake up he was to tired to get up just yet. He needed all of his energy back before he went onto patrol again, he rolled over again still asleep from last night. He never thought he would be this tired ever.

Elsa made some pancakes that had comes chocolate chips in them and even made some eggs and bacon to go with it. Though she was shocked for she knew he could smell the food but he was not awake. "Wow patrol must have really tired him out he did not wake up as soon as I started cooking breakfast" She said but kept going with making it and placing the stuff on plates and she put his food on a try so when she was done she could take to him in their room.

Cody woke up a few minutes later, rubbing his face with his hand. He smelled food, but he didn't bother going out, he got up took off his shirt and boots. It felt more comfortable without those on, he slowly got back on the bed and fell asleep again.

elsa finished cooking and went to the bed room and saw his shoes and shirt was off. "Aww he is so tired I will let him sleep longer." She whispered as she closed the door and went to eat her breakfast at least. Once done she looked at the clock an wanted to go job hunting today. She she got changed fast left a note saying she was going job hunting and that his breakfast just needed to be reheated. Once she did that she left the apartment and went through the streets of republic city.

Cody woke up after another hour, he saw the note and read it. He nodded reheating his breakfast, he ate after that he started coughing. He wasn't feeling that great for the past few days, he laid back down he knew he had a fever, but he could do nothing for it right now. He coughed some more, sweat running down his face.

Elsa returned a couple hours after he woke up finally getting a job at a tea house that looked nice. When she walked in she heard Cody coughing and walked into the room. "Cody hey are you feeling ok I hear you coughing.' She said as she walked up next to him and felt his forehead. "You are running a fever." She said worried as she went and got a bowl of cold water and a rag and walked back in and used the cool damp cloth to dab at his forehead.

Cody felt like he had been run over by a truck, he coughed some more as he rolled over onto his back. He looked up at the ceiling sweat still running down his face, he groaned he felt miserable he had never been this sick before and these last few days he just felt out of it. It never hit him that he might be getting sick, he coughed hard.

"Oh this is not good at all." She said as she bend the water and started to use her healing abilities to try to make him as comfortable as possible. "Cody you might need to go to the hospital for this because I don't know what to do." She said for she got so worried for most of what she had learned had fled her brain. She did her best though to try to make him comfortable as possible.

"Can't.....move" he struggled to speak it felt like something kept stabbing him in his chest. "Doctor a block down.....house on the left," he was struggling to breath something was in his system that wasn't supposed to be there. His body was struggling with a fight it wasn't winning.

Elsa felt bad for her bending was not helping. "Just hang in their Cody I will go get the doctor." She said as she ran out of the apartment not bothering to put her shoes back on as she ran down to go get the doctor. She went a block down and to the house on the left. Once there she banged on the door hard and multiple times. "Please is the doctor please I need help my boyfriend is really sick and he can't breath that well and he can't move please someone help." She begged as she banged on the door.

After a few minutes, the doc walks into the bed room. Using his water bending, to help Cody breath soon he could breath on his own. "He'll live just have to let this cold pass over and he'll be good as new in a few hours at best your boyfriend will live." He walked out walking back to his house.

Elsa nodded at the doctor and could not believe how to do that for she learned the healing type of bending when she was a kid. She looked at Cody and sat in the chair next to the bed not noticing her feet were a little scrapped up from running barefoot but she did not really care if she even noticed them at all. All she wanted was for Cody to get better.

Cody's breathing was steady, as the cold passed over. After a few hours, he sat up "Elsa?" He was still weak he couldn't move all that much till he got his strength back. "Did I hear him say I was your boyfriend?" He wanted to be sure he had heard right not just thought he imagined it.

Elsa was still sitting on the chair dozing off a little but trying to stay awake for Cody. Once he sat up and called her name she looked at him. "Hey feeling any better?" She asked and soon listened to him ask about him hearing the doctor say that she said Cody was her boyfriend she blushed. "You heard him right he said that because I said it first to him when I went to get him."

Cody rubbed his head, then got up and picked Elsa up laying her down on the bed.

Elsa blushed when he picked her up and place her on the bed. "Cody don't over do it you are still recovering from your cold." She said freaking for she wanted Cody to fully get better so he can be strong for his job and won't get hurt.

Cody laughed, "I'm alright Elsa nothing bad will happen to me while I'm on my shift I promise" he put his arm around her waist. He slowly relaxed against her and he slowly fell asleep.

"I still can't help but worry though Cody." Elsa said to him and hugged him tight. "I just want you to be healthy." She said to him as she held him tight in her arms. She watched him fall asleep and kissed his foreahed though she was wondering why he said nothing else when he told her why the doctor called him her boyfriend but decided not to ask about it and just relaxed in his arms, falling asleep herelf.

A few times Cody stirred, but not waking. Once a few hours passed he woke up, Elsa's arms were around him he didn't move allowing her to sleep in for a little bit longer. He ran his hand through her hair as she slept against him.
