life at ritman high They were Ritman high's biggest story in his freshman year. In the early days of their freshman year, their father disappeared. The rumors wered that the Alvaro patriarch ran away with a mistress of 20 years, others said that he had gone to his other family, and crueler ones implied that he was murdered by the wife. The truth was that he had simply left. He took his belongings and some of their savings. All throughout middle school and junior high he was the lanky kid that fell with a gust of wind, an easy target for bullies. People thought that this would break the boy, but nothing really happened. No meltdowns, no fits, no nothing. Some were disappointed, kids can be cruel that way. There were condolences at first when it became all too real. Most were sincere enough, but more were out of pity and cultural expectations. Then there bullies, insensitive to the reality and unaware that this could happen to them too. Would-be saviors helped, part hero-complex, genuine concern, or a form of moral adjustment to feel like the better man. Life moved on and so did he. The rest of his school years were nothing to write about. Athletic and social clubs were joined, but nothing quite made him stick out. He was good in school, but nothing to write home about. He was late often and was disruptive enough that he would get detention, but never a problem child. Parties were attended and substances were consumed, but no abuses or stories to make legends out of him. He was there, he just never really stuck around. He was simply too busy trying to rebuild his broken family. life at ritman high They were a star athlete, known by all and liked by most. In their freshman year they transferred to Ritman high, they were the new family in town. A single father and her daughter were sure to attract some level of attention, especially for the other single mothers, and some single fathers as well. As the new kid in town, they were to attract attention regardless, but tyheir own tenacity and loud personality yielded just as much attention. From the first moment they stepped on the campus premises they joined the volleyball the team with unyielding confidence and determination. Within the first few weeks of their freshamn year, they made an impression, one that would turn into a long-lasting career in the athletics department of Ritman High. From talented freshman to team captain two years in a row, and MVP three years in a row. They were academically and socially adequate. They were never top of the class, but never bottom of the pack, close friends and romantic partners were had, but nothing that ever made them the center of attention. They were part of a specific group of people but never had enemies or part of some trivial social war, they were far too busy achieving something greater. It came to no one's surprise that by the time they graduated they had received an athletic scholarship. When flying at great speeds and heights their ability to breathe oxygen will be greatly limited to what is around them. This creates an innate limit on how far, fast, and high they may fly as they are subject to how much oxygen they have left. ► Inertia & Momentum - Their powers, like most, are still subject to certain laws of physics and they are not an exception. Inertia is a cruel mistress that doesn't choose sides. If they were to use their body as a projectile without properly accelerating and decelerating it can cause great harm to the intended target and the user. While their powers come with a defense mechanism in the form of the barrier, understanding how much force is needed to properly mitigate the possible damages is a game of trial and error and scientific deduction that can result in either success or death and injury. -

psyche They were never much of a princess, always prince of their story. Charming as hell, athletic, and popular with the ladies. They were the type of person who's entire attitude can be explained with "If they want something, they will get it". They possessed unbridled confidence in nearly all aspects of their life. They're not one for receiving criticism, but they're also the type who will listen and improve. Their ability to grow and become a better person is one that has made both the best and worst of impressions. Those who meet her either learn to love and admire her unwavering sense of self, inspiring awe and wonder, or grow to resent her for being sure of herself. In either cases, one can assume that she doesn't really care what you think. She's had her fair share of best friends and partners, and she has treasured each one of them. One of her parents grew up in the reservations, the other of French Canadian descent with family still in Quebec. They met in school at the University of Maine, Orono and fell in love. One was a student there doing their undergrad, the other was a grad student. A job opportunity, at the University of Southern Maine, moved them to Portland where their parents spent most of their twenties and thirties, and then Denton when they were entering their teens. According to their parents, they wanted her to grow up in the country like their parents.

They lived in Denton for the six years until the end of high school where they transferred to an out of state university, during which her parents moved closer to the University of Maine, Orono, due to a job opportunity.

Received a full ride track and field scholarship and moved out of the state for university. She loved volleyball but understood that a career in athletics was not viable and sustainable so she chose a degree that she considered sustainable, Accounting.

Shortly after the university, she considered staying on the west coast but decided to move closer to home, the east coast at least. Taking inspiration from her parents she moved to Portland like they did when they were younger. She has been in Portland ever since working as the director of financial operations at a small research startup.

She runs marathons as a recreation.
