With his apprentice asleep, Maul sat and watched the fire slowly burn down to its last cinder, before slowly, he too lowered himself down, sitting back and slowly lowering himself to the ground, but ground didn't seem to come. As he leaned back, he seemed to slip off of an almighty precipice. He didn't cry out, simply turning to see if there was anything to grab, but there was nothing. Nothing but light. He quickly panned his head around and tried to find anything, literally anything to grab ahold of, but there was nothing. then, as the light grew more intense, he seemed to hit an ocean of water. He twisted over and tried to swim up to the surface, but with every pump of his arms and cybornetic legs, he seemed to sink faster. As the surface became more and more distant, he slowed his breathing and called for the force to sustain him, but there was no force here... Nothing... This was a void in The Force. His steeled mind softened and determination turned to desperation. Finally, his lungs gave out and he desperately tried to fight for any air that he could get. He breathed in and found... Wait, this was breathable... He took a few deep breaths as he floated. "What... Is this place...?"

"Good day, Mr Maul. I suppose you are wondering what has just happened to you?" Asked a voice. He looked around, but no-one was there. "One minute, fighting for the greater good, or to thwart the forces of good, or something else along those lines. I don't care too much which for. I am here because something has happened to time itself. Something that it will take a team of people with special talents such as yourself to solve." At that point, a man seemed to walk through the water towards Maul.

"And who might you be?" Maul asked, he was cut off from The Force here, but he still had his cane in his hands. He reached towards it, the man simply rolled his eyes.

"Trust me, Mr Maul, that blade will do you no good here."

"Where, exactly, is here?" He asked.

"You currently are everywhere and no-where. Out of time and space." He then approached Maul and pressed a finger into his forehead. Maul blinked and, suddenly, he was in a field of waist-high grass and flowers. "Time has gone very wrong, your timeline, destroyed. The only way to bring it back is to work for me and help me to fix time."

"And if i refuse?" He asked.

"Then you will become very familiar with this place. You don't seem to understand, you believe that you may escape if you try hard enough, but i assure you, there is no-where to escape to. Your camp is gone, your planet, your apprentice, all gone, unless you can help me to repair time. Maul, you are extraudinarily skilled in the ways of The Force and Nightsister Alchemy and your skills with a blade are seldom matched. With the others that are coming, then your vision of time away from your planet will fly quickly." He then looked upwards. "Ah, here come the rest of your team now." He said.
