Haha well honestly I don't mind if you don't write two povs! I completely understand as it's a lot.

Hmm, I hadn't really thought on it. I know I do have the idea of Ethan coming back, but I kind of want him to come back when the King is dead and Cas is the next ruler. I want him to still be causing trouble in the meantime but have a huge plan when Cas is King.

For the next part we need to think on what to do. Does Iris go back to the districts? Or live under the radar in the Capital. Do you have any ideas?

OHH, speaking of Ethan I also wanted Cas to get some ominous text in the next few days or more. Something like I'm not dead, or your death will still happen. I haven't thought it through yet xD

Also this particular post was so fun xD I had an idea and just ran with it lmao Poor Cas was humiliated at the gas station

I'm excited to see what you have planned for Ethan. I was also thinking that Atlas could pass soon, actually. I'm not sure exactly when, but I don't want to put it off too much longer.

I was also thinking that Iris would stay in the capital unless you have something you want her to do in the districts. We could figure out some things to keep her busy, since she's hiding away right now.

I like the idea of the threatening text too!

Yeah I'm happy for her to stay in the Capital, it will be interesting to see how they will do it as she can't stay with Miles forever. Especially with the jealousy thrown in xD

It will certainly stir up trouble when Atlas passes. I think the remainder of the rebellion might make a move soon after his death. Maybe they capture Ethan later on?

I like throwing in comedy where I can xD It also opens the door possibly (depending on how Cas and Iris go about trying to find time alone) for word to get out that the crown prince is seeing someone, which could lead to more drama around the capital.

I can try to think of some alternative ideas for how they hide Iris. I did have one, as well as a transition to get us there, but I have to ponder over it a little to make sure it actually makes sense before I suggest it.

It could be interesting if the rebellion attacks during or right after Cas's coronation. It would put a lot of pressure on him as a brand new king to take care of the threat. As for Ethan being captured, I have no preferences, so we can handle that however you want to. One thing to note is that if he is caught, he'll most likely die, since the soldiers wouldn't waste time interrogating and killing him.

Oh yeah, I think it would fit nicely being attacked so soon after the death. At the end I think Ethan should be killed, whether captured or not his end will ultimately be death. I just don’t know how I want him to die yet haha.

I was out doing more design stuff for the house (finally have all the kitchen/bathroom materials picked out!) but I'm home now so I'll get started on my next post after I eat a quick lunch :)

Awesome! And my idea was that Cas would get a hotel room for him and Iris.

I had a little timeline of events:

1. Cas notices the way Miles is behaving around Iris and starts to worry that something happened between them while he was at the palace. This would also delay his initial plan to spend the night with her, because he would be uncertain about her feelings about him. He'd probably go a little over the top trying to win her affection back, to which she could notice and assure him that he doesn't need to earn it.

2. Cas would have to come clean about his relationship with Iris to Miles, so his friend would realize she's taken and stop trying to flirt with her. Miles isn't a douchebag, so he would back down as soon as he knows she isn't single like he'd thought.

3. Something happens between Cas and Atlas that pushes Cas over the edge. He leaves the palace in a rage, telling his father that he needs space. He goes to Miles' place to calm down, taking comfort with Iris and his friend(s). Losing respect for Atlas, this is when he decides to get a hotel room to spend the night with Iris. Instead of going home at midnight like he's supposed to, he stays out with her all night as a form of passive rebellion.

4. The next morning, he turns his phone back on to find a storm of missed texts and calls. While he was gone, Atlas had another severe episode, had been taken to the hospital to be treated, but didn't make it. He needs to report back to the palace immediately to be prepared for his coronation as the next king.

What do you think? ^^ I enjoy lots of action and drama, so I think it'll be good. I don't have much for Iris's side, but I figured you can find some ways to fill in the gaps. Maybe even give some updates on Ethan's side while she's still stuck with Miles?

Oh, wow I love the whole timeline of events planned out. I think that would work nicely!

In between I can work with Ethan and the plan with them sneaking back into the Capital and plotting to kill the new King. Iris will probably still be struggling with her inner turmoil because she hasn’t grieved for her father so I can see it all boiling over because she doesn’t think it’s right to feel sad over him after all he did, but at the same time it was her dad. Poor Miles might end up witnessing it xD

Gosh though the guilt Iris would feel though, even though it wouldn’t be her fault she would feel absolutely terrible that she had kept him with her that night and not back with his father in the last moments. Then she'd want to go with him to support him, but she knows she can't.

I love a lot of action and drama too so this would be great! I'm already excited :3

Yeah, Cas is also gonna feel terrible that he let his emotions get the best of him and didn't come home. I could see that leading to some interesting interactions between him and Jacob later on when they discuss what happened.

It’s just finding a plausible way to have them sneak into the Capital again and hide, then finding a way to even get close to Cas because security would be tight.

I have a few ideas but again, nothing too concrete.

Ohhh! I also had a bit of an idea to play out because I can imagine the relationship of Cas and Iris getting a little bit rocky with everything. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. With everything going on and Cas becoming the new King Iris would blame herself, I know she would. She would start to believe that she was the downfall of the monarchy ultimately and feels she would end up being Caspians downfall which she doesn’t want. Thinking he would be better off without her she asks Jacob for a favour to sneak her back to the districts without anyones knowledge so she can just disappear thinking it would be better for Cas and the kingdom.

What are your thoughts?

I like that idea :) Were you wanting Jacob to go along with it and help her leave or have him tell her she's wrong and refuse? His response would depend heavily on when Iris asks him. The sooner she does, the more likely he would be to go along with the idea, because at this point, he also thinks she's bad for Cas

I think it would be interesting with either option whether he accepts or denies it. I’d be happy to go along with either. It would be interesting her going back to the districts and to see how Cas would react about it and what he would do. Then it would also be interesting if Cas ever found out she asked Jacob to do such a thing if he refuses. We can have a think on it and see how it fits in with the story when it gets there!

Cas isn't great at dealing with it either, haha. He's getting a little petty because he's mad and he can't address the root of his anger without giving away his feelings for Iris xD
