Nah, I just had the red color redone and the blonde toned, so it's more platinum. I hadn't been to a salon since November, so my hair was looking pretty weird with the roots growing in xD The stylist thinks I should get a balayage next time I come in, so I'll probably do that to blend the colors in a cool way. He's been in the business for over 30 years, so I trust his judgement.

I borrowed Miles again for this bit, since he's gonna be the one to let Cas in. I'm also thinking that when Cas goes back home later, that's when he'll have the big fight with Atlas, so the next day is when he'll pay for a hotel room for himself and Iris, and they can go there sometime in the evening.

I was gonna go back in March, but COVID happened, so yeah xD I'm glad I was finally able to get it done! And I relate to that. I usually only go to salons like once every 4 months or less because I get lazy about scheduling. I wait until my hair bothers me enough that I make an appointment lol

Good so far, just slow going. Also sorry it's taking me a little longer than usual to reply! I've had a lapse in motivation for some reason. My muse tends to take vacations sometimes without giving me any notice, and I'm pretty sure it did this week ^^; I'll still be getting a reply back to you as soon as I can! Just have to push through the writer's block.

Definitely. I enjoy writing more often than not, since it's my main hobby (I have 9 active stories now, yikes) but every once in a while I'm like 'eh, I need a couple days off to rest my muse.' Sometimes I get cool ideas when that happens though, so maybe I'll think of something interesting for this one.

I definitely did that a few days ago xD I decided no more new RPs when I was at 7, and then one partner reappeared from the void from over a year ago, and we picked up our old story, and last week I caved and started one more because I had a character I've really wanted to use for a long time as a MC lol I have no self control ^^;

I've been good! Just giving lots of attention to my needy cat and talking to some people over text. How about you?

Yeah, I completely understand that feeling! Like it can be so easy to burnout. If you wanna take a break four a couple of days I’m more than happy too! We have been going at this one hard.

Oh gosh nine active ones!! That’s quite intense!! Oh, I bet that’s nice though being able to pick stuff back up after a while. I must admit I really wanted to do one revolving around pirates, but not takers yet haha.

Awh I just saw! Such a cute thing! I’ve been good celebrating a lot of work stuff as we’ve been open ten years today.

I don't think I'll need too much of a break :) If I don't get a post up today at some point, I most likely will tomorrow. I probably won't be online much over the weekend though because a friend from out of state is coming to stay with us for a few days.

Yeah, the good thing is that only 3 of them are fairly active right now. One of my partners is on hiatus and 4 others are only writing about once a month or so recently.

Hopefully you can find someone to do that plot with you! I'm surprised no one has grabbed it yet, since pirates are fun to write. I tried one of those RPs last year but it didn't last long because my partner dropped it. She was one of the few people who've left RPs with me that actually told me she wasn't interested anymore though, so I appreciated that. Ghosting sucks.

That's cool. I don't know many people who like working on weekends, haha. When I was in school it was really draining to have to work on projects when I wanted time to relax.

Oh yeah xD I call it the Storm lmao Whenever everyone replies within 24 hours of each other I want to curl up in a ball and question my life decisions.

Good luck searching! A trick I tend to use is reading some of the other 1x1s on the site to find people who have a writing style that I like. Then I'll PM them to ask if they want to start up a new story with me and see if we have any common interests :) Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I think it’s because I’ve always worked weekends, so I’ve never really seen it as like a bad thing? Or like super annoying if that makes sense. Plus, I much prefer being able to do my bits around on week days when it isn’t as busy in shops.

Oh gosh I can imagine! I gelt so overwhelmed only getting back three in one go let alone thinking of nine!!
