Also I had a thought! Later on, after Cas and Iris are more officially together (like when more people know about them) what if she gets taken by the rebellion again? Could be interesting if Ethan pulls something like that to try blackmailing or threatening Cas when he's king.

Ohhh maybe Ethan gets the idea of it after trying an initial plan to bring down the monarchy? As he wouldn't know Cas would be King so he would assume it was still Atlas and obviously his first plan fails when they make a feeble attempt with whats left of the rebellion so gets the idea to kidnap her later on down the line in hopes to blackmail him?

Yeah, I think that makes sense. He'd probably end up blackmailing Iris too by bluffing that he has a way to just kill Caspian and will do it if she doesn't leave the capital to meet with him. Security cracked down heavily, so it would be just about impossible for him to get inside the city to take her at that point. He'd have to trick her into coming to him and leaving the safety of the city.

Ohhh I have an idea!

You know how Ethan was going to message Cas about killing him? We can still have that, but perhaps they somehow find a way to message Iris. Threaten her, make her truly believe that they would bring Caspian down as they had spies on the inside along those lines if she doesn’t return knowing that it would work on getting her to go to them.

This could then incorporate that idea I had a while ago.

The one where Iris asks Jacob to take her back to the districts in secret. Spouting nonsense to him that she is not good enough for Cas, she will be his downfall, he deserves better and she should just disappear. Perhaps this is where he takes her back? Not realising she has done it because of the threats to Caspians life because they do the whole you tell anyone we will kill him and Maisie will be next maybe?

And I'll get a post up later today! Our church finally reopened for the first time since March, so the squad is all going and then getting lunch together afterwards ^^ It's exciting. Our county is down to just 60-70 cases per week (even less for our city) so things are pretty safe again.

Sooo change of plans. I may not be able to write until later or tomorrow because we're having a crisis situation. It's possibly not safe for us to be home today, so we're staying with friends until things calm down again.

Not right now, but it should be later. It's a situation we've been dealing with for about two weeks that escalated unexpectedly like an hour ago. We already have a plan to deal with it if/when we need to though, so hopefully we'll be able to sleep at home by tonight. If not, we'll probably book a hotel to wait until tomorrow!

We just got everything sorted out in the best way, fortunately. Nobody got hurt and things should hopefully start going back to normal now! ^^
