[IC] Shadows in the Moonlight

[Luna]

She nodded "I agree with you there, but we have to try, better try than don't do anything about it" she said hugging him. "I love you Sam" she said smiling at him. She frowned when she looked at her nails "Hmm since the transformation my nail size has really gone down at all and its weird, I look like I have a perfect blank manicure"

[EliteCommander]

Sam gave Stevie a kiss, then chuckled. "Yeah, I've noticed a few changes even outside of my werewolf form as well. My nails really could be used as claws at this point, not to mention all the muscle mass. I personally wonder what kind of other, less obvious changes we have. At any rate, I suppose we should head out tomorrow morning for a secluded spot in the woods. I bought some camping gear and some supplies yesterday, so we won't have to run naked through the forest all day again. It won't be like the first time where we were completely unprepared."

[Luna]

Stevie chuckled in amusement a blush appearing on her face "Its not like we didnt enjoy it seeing each others bodies the entire day as we tried to trace back to where we were before the attack and the first transformation" she said smiling as she thought about that day, the day they also lost their virginities. She squirmed a little feeling a little hot and bothered and shook her head of the dirty thoughts she had.

[EliteCommander]

Sam smiled and chuckled. "Agreed, but at least this time we won't have to worry about freezing in the nighttime air. We'll have plenty of warm blankets and supplies for a campfire this time around. I really don't know exactly how we are going to go about practicing with controlling our werewolf forms, but hopefully we won't lose track of our supplies. I bought a simple GPS too, since I lost my phone when we lost all our belongings. I'm kind of anxious about starting all of this, honestly, but at least we have until tomorrow morning to relax before we go. How long do you think we should make these trips? Maybe a few days at a time?"

[Luna]

"Hmmmm that is a good question,I saw we come back every other week and then leave for a week since I am free until next fall when classes start up again but this time I will be on my final level of schooling and then I can get...oh crap what about the apartment we still have to pay rent and we don't have jobs plus I am afraid to get one since I fear I am going to transform right in front of everyone"

[EliteCommander]

"Well, I think I can probably keep up the rent with just my income. I know you like to pick up jobs between semesters, but I agree that it isn't safe. At least I can work from home with what I do. It will be tough, we might not be able to afford the luxuries we're used to, but I can at least keep up rent. Besides, with us being out of the apartment every other week, our utilities will at least be cheaper." Sam answered. Their financial situation had been the last thing on his mind recently, but Stevie was right to worry about it.

[Luna]

"Yeah you are right that mean more money for food and extra clothing in case we need to replace any of it" she said snuggling into him her earlier panic now gone from her mind leaving her content to lay in her beloved's warm and safe arms. "Oh crap what if our freidns call our parents asking for us what do we do cause we arent really going back home at all" she said looking up at him

[EliteCommander]

Sam smiled, then leaned in and kissed Stevie, rubbing her shoulders to calm her. "Don't worry so much, we can make everything believable. We can...we can tell them that we made a friend that has a place on the beach or something, and we are going to be visiting from time to time. They'll probably ask if they can join, but we can just tell them our 'friend' said no. As long as we're careful, no one will figure us out."

[Luna]

She nodded relaxing under the soothing massage her beloved was giving her "Hmmm that seems like a good plan dear that feels good" she said with a moan of content on her face as the knots from her shoulders vanished under Sam's hands. She leaned forward exposing more of her back and shoulders for him she was very tense, since she was stressed from the problem and everything else.

[EliteCommander]

Sam closed his eyes and leaned up against Stevie as he gave his massage. He smiled, simply enjoying her presence. "Agreed. For now, I'm just content sitting here with you. It's relaxing having nothing to worry about, no reason to get worked up about anything. Just...sit and talk. Maybe we'll be able to have more moments like this once we get a handle on our abilities."

[Luna]

"I look forwards to that" she said turning her head to give him a small passionate kiss before snuggling into him closing her eyes relaxed for the first time in days since what happened in the bathroom. "I love you so much Sam" she said sincerely as she slowly fell asleep needing some much needed rest after a last fews days of stressing that had building on her poor sense of mind.

[EliteCommander]

Sam held Stevie close as she fell asleep. After the stress of the past few days, he could understand why she would be tired. It wasn't late, so he wasn't ready to sleep, but he was content relaxing where he was and thinking about what to do the next day. He had already picked out a good spot in his mind on where they should make their camp. The part of the forest they originally went to did not see visitors often, but there were trails going through it. He knew of a place that was completely undeveloped which no one really had a reason to go to that would be a perfect spot for them. He really didn't know if they were supposed to be there, but neither did he care.

After a few hours, Sam carried Stevie to their bed, then he went to sleep a bit early himself so they could get an early start on the next day.

[Luna]

The next day Stevie had showered and dressed making sure she had her clothing and sleeping bag packed for their forest trip. Once she saw she was prepared she closed her suitcase and took it to the living room. "I am all prepared Sam" she called out to let him know before going to the kitchen to pack some food for them, some food they would have to go to the store seeing as they didnt have the needed items. "Hey Sam we might have to go to the store for a cooler and some more food" he said again making a small list of items they would need before going to the forest for the week.

[EliteCommander]

Sam had awoken a bit earlier than Stevie, so by this point, he was already cooking their breakfast: the classic bacon and eggs. He smiled to her and chuckled. "Don't worry, I thought of that when I was getting our supplies. I bought one yesterday; it's in the trunk of my car. We'll just have to pick up some ice and other things to cool it with when we stop by the store. I don't think there is anything I haven't thought of, really, unless you can think of something I missed. Just make sure to pack some extra clothes; we might end up tearing up a few sets if we turn unexpectedly."

[Luna]

"Hmmm well we will need a lot of meat at least so we don't go hungry for meat, if we have raw meat around that will decrease the changes of transformation for blood lust like our first transformation" Stevie said thinking about it her clawed finger tapping against her soft pink lips as her eyes went towards around her boyfriend "Ok a pack of meat is about $2.00 a ilb and I have fifty dollars saved up from my part time job of babysitting and walking dogs" she said pulling out her wallet.

[EliteCommander]

"That is a good idea, actually. We want to learn to control our transformations, after all, so hopefully that will work. As long as we can keep the meat preserved, we should be good. We can buy as much as we can with what you have." Sam answered. The breakfast he was cooking finished at about this time, so he turned off the oven and divided the meal between two plates. Picking up both in his arms, he walked over to Stevie and gave her one of the plates with a smile. "Breakfast is served, my love." He said with a slight laugh.

[Luna]

She smiled and took the plate giving him a kiss "Hmm I always loved your cooking" she said smiling at him before she started to eat "Oh love did you fill up the car on gas already cause when I last checked it was almost empty" she asked looking at her boyfriend enjoying her breakfast the smell of bacon and sausage awakening the beat but this time she felt it and gasped stiffening up

Sam sat down beside Stevie, grinning as he began his breakfast as well. "Don't worry, I remembered to fill it up before I came home yesterday. I've been thinking about this trip a lot, so I've thought of...mostly everything." He said, at which point he noticed her gasp. Given the few close calls they had over the past few days, he immediately knew what was going on. The smell of meat, even cooked, was tantalizing for a lycan, apparently. He wasn't sure why he wasn't feeling any urges at the moment, though this entire thing was not an exact science. He started to rub her shoulders and spoke gently. "Don't worry, just...take deep breaths. It will all be fine"

[Luna]

She took deep breaths feeling the creature lurking in her mind "Its awake love and it wont be going back to sleep until it feeds" she shuddered feeling the lycan's blood lust filling her head. She placed her plate down and got rid of the meat before she transformed in the apartment again breaking their small kitchen apart. She wiped the sweat off her forehead and sat down her body trembling as she struggled to keep the beast under control.

[EliteCommander]

Sam felt a mix of fear and nervousness upon seeing Stevie transform in front of him. His own beast started to tug at his mind upon seeing her in her werewolf form, but it did not seem as strong as hers at the moment. He wished he understood the intricacies of how and why their beasts would force their transformations, but for the moment, he just needed to focus on calming Stevie while suppressing his own beast. As near as he could tell, she knew his scent as her mate, so hopefully, she would not be compelled to attack him in her werewolf form. He walked up to the refrigerator cautiously and pulled a pack of ground beef out of the freezer. Opening it quickly, he sat it on the floor in front of Stevie, then slowly and cautiously approached her. His heart pounded with fear as he ran his hands over her fur, trying his best to calm her. "It's going to be alright, Stevie, just...just eat."
