[IC] Last Werewolf Pack

[Wick]

Maggie Grey

Maggie got up still chuckling and followed him.

"Wait, werewolves, vampires, what else is there and where are we going? I'm starving!" She said as her stomach grumbled loud enough for the birds to hear it and fly away.

She felt off and a moment later she heard another voice in her head but not the same way that she heard William.

"Hey! I'm Kip."

Maggie stopped in her tracks and whimpered a moment.

"Who are you? Do you live in my head now?" Seeing William stop and turn around she trotted up to him. "There is someone in my head. Is this normal?"

Kip laughed in a wolfy way. "I wasn't talking to you, Kip. That was rude of you to spy on my conversation." Maggie looked up at William like she was totally lost.

[Darkwolf]

William laughed a litte. That happens with us all. I have the same thing in my head. It's your wolf speaking to you.

My wolf's name is Slade. He doesn't talk much but when he does you will know it is him.

William turned around and walked towards town again.

[Wick]

Maggie Grey

Maggie was quiet for a while before asking him, "Why are we going towards town? That doesn't sound like a good idea. Aren't they going to shoot us or something?"

She felt something a little overwhelmed and it felt like she was being shoved backwards as Kip came forward and took over the body and changed direction and ran at full speed into the treeline and disappeared.

Maggie felt like she was watching from far away and she saw a young deer. It wasn't that big but it was big enough. She screamed in her head at Kip. "NO! Not Bambi!"

"KIP no don't you dare!" Kip ignored her and she stalked the young deer and when it was obvious that the deer was nervous and started to take off Kip jumped out and took it down. Maggie covered her eyes inside her head.

[Darkwolf]

William followed behind and watched as the deer fell before Maggie. He walked up behind and delivered the killing blow by biting the deer's neck. You can open your eyes Maggie.

It's time to eat. He started tearing into the deer and eating the meat. He watched as Maggie started eating.

Tastes good doesn't it.

[Wick]

Kip ate until her belly was full and then she retreated into the back allowing Maggie to step forward again. Kip had purred oddly at William and Slade as they came nearer to her kill. She had waited for him to eat with her as was normal. Kip would know things naturally that Maggie wouldn't immediately know about being a wolf.

"I've never had venison before, nor raw meat." Maggie thought for sure she would be sick but in Kip's body things were different. Her senses were heightened and she looked at William a little differently.

"You said I'm in your pack. Does that mean you are my Alpha?" The more she remembered about what she had read the more questions she had.

"What about mates, and rogues, and silver? Are the books right on those things?" She asked him in her mind.

It would be dawn soon and she wasn't sure where her dog had run off to. "OMG! How could I forget about Fluffy! Where is he?" Maggie stood up and her frantic posture caught her alpha's attention.

[Darkwolf]

William came up to the kill and stared eating. Yes, I'm your alpha. You are going to have to stay close to me for a while. The books are true about mates and rogues. Although, silver only hurts us. It doesnt kill us.

William came over to Maggie and sat next to her. Your dog is safe. One of my wolves took him home. I can have him placed in the camp with you if you want.

[Wick]

"Why do I have to live in a camp? Why can't I stay at my house?"

Maggie was a little concerned about the entire mates thing and rogues down right made her nervous.

"So you are saying that some guy is going to claim me and I just have no say in it? That doesn't sound right to me. I think I want to go home." Maggie started to walk away from both him and the kill.

"How do I shift back to my human form?" She said backing up while watching him.

[Darkwolf]

It's for your safety. The humans in the town dont like us very much. You can go back to your home during the day.

You have a say in who your mate is. You can say no if you want to. William walked behind her.

Just focus on what you look like.

[Wick]

Maggie Grey

Maggie pictured herself in her mind's eye and she felt her bones cracking once again but this time it went much quicker. She opened her eyes and she was on the ground on her hands and knees breathing hard from the shifting process. She stood up and her hair was in her face. It took her a moment to pull it back and pick the leaves out of it, but only a second to realize that she was naked and that her alpha was looking at her.

She jumped in mortification and ran deeper into the woods. "Don't look at me!"

[Darkwolf]

William smiled amd looked away. I should have told you that happens. Maggie realized that William was a helpful and respectful man.

William shifted back and put clothes on and brought some clothes to Maggie. Here put these on.

[Wick]

Maggie hurriedly dressed in the large t shirt and shorts that he brought her and came out from behind the large tree she had hidden behind. She was still embarrassed that he had seen her naked and her cheeks were blush pink and she couldn't look him in the eye.

"Thank you but um...I'm just going to go."

Maggie turned and stopped. "Please have someone bring Fluffy home to my house. I don't think I can do this werewolf thing. I'll just stay in on nights with a full moon or something."

[Darkwolf]

Unfortunately, you can't stay indoors on a full moon. If you do, you could hurt someone in the town when you transform. Come back to the camp and I'll give you something that belongs to you.

William turned and walked back to the camp. Also you were born a werewolf. You don't have a choice in that matter Maggie.

William tried not to blush as he thought about how beautiful Maggie was.

Maggie Grey

Maggie hesitated and watched as he walked back the way they had come. After a moment she followed him. She would get there find Fluffy and go. There couldn't be anything else of hers there. She had never been here before, at least not as far as she remembered. Thinking about what he had said earlier about her parents being werewolves her first instinct was that the idea was ridiculous. However, the more she thought about it the more she realized that her parents were out a lot at night. She was guessing that some of the odd conversations that she walked in on started to make some sense now.

She wondered the entire way to the camp why her parents didn't tell her anything about who she really was, what she was.

[Darkwolf]

William walked into the camp and went straight to his hut. He waited for her to come inside. As Maggie entered, she recognized some of the things in his hut. William reached into a chest and pulled out a necklace. Do you remember this?

William saw the look on Maggie's face. You recognize it don't you?

William headed it to her. This was your mother's necklace. I found it on her when I discovered the car wreck.

[Wick]

Maggie Grey

She took it and looked at it closely. It was the necklace her father had given her mother for their 20th anniversary. She had always loved the wolf howling at the moon on it. Tears started to fill her eyes.

"You found them?" she said softly.

"I didn't know that. I was told nothing other than the basics I guess. Do you know what happened?" She hastily wiped the tears away. Undoing the clasp she put the necklace around her neck.

[Darkwolf]

Yes I found them. I was walking through the woods when I heard a sound like metal crunching. I ran toward the sound and found your parent's car smashed up against a tree. Your mother had been thrown from the car. I found her a few feet away barely alive. She gave me that necklace to give to you.

They loved you very much, he said.

I tried to save your parents but your father was already dead. Your mother died in my arms Maggie.

[Wick]

Maggie Grey

Maggie looked away. Unable to stop the tears she clutched the necklace in her hand.

"Why did they hide all of this life from me? If it was so wonderful and great why did they send me away to school?"

Feeling helpless and alone and suddenly extremely tired she wiped her eyes.

"I just want my life back. I want my parents back." She sighed. "I have a lot of packing to do so if you can get Fluffy for me I'd appreciate it."

[Darkwolf]

Maggie, they thought they were protecting you. I begged them to let me teach you. I knew I could help you learn to control the wolf. I always wanted what was best for you. I loved you when we were kids and I still do.

William walked over to Maggie and placed his hand on her shoulder.

[Wick]

Maggie Grey

Maggie looked at the blue eyed alpha and felt her wolf purring again. "Mate" She heard in her head. Her eyes registered what Kip was telling her.His hand on her shoulder sent tingles down her arm. She tried to think back, had he touched her before? Had she just not felt the tingles because of the stress and shock of her situation? Confused about the mash up of feelings inside her she asked him,

"You love me? What do you mean you've loved me since we were kids? Are we related somehow?"

[Darkwolf]

Yes, I love you Maggie. We use to hang out when we were kids. Our parents were great friends. You use to always kiss my cheek and run off. I woild like if you stayed here with me.

He looked at her and wondered if he should kiss her.
