Kissimi

The streets of Lothal's Capital City were already alight with the hubbub of the big city. Street vendors were calling out, attempting to lure customers to their appropriate shops. Civilians were chatting about the latest in fashion, or the weather. But despite the light mood of the city streets, the sky was dark and cloudy. Looking around, Kissimi could see the population of harmless civilians doing as they normally did. She waved a greeting to a street vendor she often spoke to when she wasn't trying to do other things.

She neared the spaceport, intending to go to her ship, but paused as she noticed a new ship coming in. She could feel the disturbance in the Force. Somebody is on that ship. Jedi. Young. Two? That's odd. What do the Jedi want with Lothal? Confusion flickered across her mind, but she pushed her thoughts away. Behind her, there were shouts of surprise and alarm. She turned and saw her Loth-wolf friends approaching. She chuckled and held her hands out to them. Both wolves slowed and nuzzled her hands, barking and yapping. It wasn't long before the city returned to its normal state of chatter, the girl and her wolves forgotten in the duties of daily life.

Megara Shade was hanging in a cell, bloodied and beaten as she heard laughter coming from the next room. It had been three weeks since she had been betrayed by a contact and now being held hired guns for the separatists. They wanted information but she wasn’t giving it. She had to hold on. For any kind of help she could get. But she was weak. She needed help fast.

Then suddenly she felt the pull. Force users were nearby. She could feel three of them. She closed her eyes and focused on those three pillars, hoping one of them would be strong enough in the force to sense her. Then she thought out please…help…find me…before…it’s too late…

Chase and Pira Jackson

As their ship neared the planet, both of the children knew something was off. Chase glanced at Pira, knowing that the Jedi Master they were sent to meet might not take too kindly to ending up with two Padawans. Pira caught her brother's eye and grabbed his hand, her nerves displayed in her expression of fear and excitement. This was new for both of them, and they both shared each other's feeling that something was wrong.

Kissimi

Kissimi frowned as her wolves appeared to hear something. She knew they had some sense in the Force, and then she noticed it too. A third presence, very clearly Jedi. Weakened Jedi. Could be useful. Probably caught by hunters. I could collect the kids and help the Jedi. Maybe I'd get some favor from the Temple too, She thought, glancing around before moving towards where the young Jedi ship was heading, wolves at her heels. We're coming.

Megara flinched as she felt the pillars feel her and she focused again on the closer one. Then thought beware…hunters posing as…innocents…they are in the middle of town…the black warehouse building…with the heads of droids in the door way… she cursed as the cell door opened and a hunter stood there. “Alright Jedi. Your next”

Kissimi, Chase and Pira Jackson

Kissimi knew her wolves were getting the messages too, but she would be forced to delay a rescue attempt. Survive, was her only response before reaching the young Jedis' ship. She waited quietly, then was met with the two children. Few words far from a brief introduction were shared before Kissimi got straight to the point.

"Listen, young ones. My friend was captured by bounty hunters. You two are going to stay here with my wolves. Get something to eat, rest. I'll be a few hours. You will always be safe with my friends," She told them.

Both children nodded, understanding Kissimi's reasoning for keeping her words brief and to the point. Kissimi left the wolves with the two young and began her search. She'd seen the building described before but knew very little of the schematics. Her only advantage was being an unknown player in the game, known only to the Jedi Knight. The kids must be here for whoever the Jedi is. They think I'm who they were sent to meet. I need to play into that. The Jedi cannot know, She thought to herself as she wove through the crowded streets. Since the early morning crowd had died down, she was much more exposed than she would have liked, and her purple lightsaber was visible if anybody passed too close. She wanted to get caught. Getting caught often meant getting in. Just like the wolves taught you, K. Just like the wolves taught you.

Megara was now in the main room, bond to the ceiling and floor. She was bleeding again. She was panting as the head hunter was pacing around her and said “now…where is the holocron you were sent to get? I hate beating up a lovely creature like yourself…”

Megara coughed and said “never…” he sighed then hit the button on his wridd as t band and shocks hit her and she cried out in pain.

Two hunters walked towards kissi and one said “we need to hurry back. The boss is talking to the Jedi again…” they bumped into kissi and the other said “sorry about that”

Kissimi

Kissimi paused, having heard the hunter's words. She checked on her lightsaber- still where it was- then turned and followed them. If she got caught, she'd make up an excuse, but if she wasn't caught, well, she'd get in, rack up a few kills, and get some rapport with a Jedi. Not bad, K. Not bad, She smiled to herself. She hoped the Jedi would survive, and that she could keep from needing the help of her wolves. But they'll come the moment they think I'm in trouble. That's bad. Unless the kids keep them entertained.

The hunters lead her to the warehouse, not very smart they didn’t even check their surroundings when they opened the big bay doors and went inside. It was a slow door so she could easily slip in.

When they got there they could all hear the jedis screams. The boss hit the button again and stopped the shocks and grabbed her neck. “I’m not liking your answers Jedi…one more chance or I start losing my temper…” megara looked at him and said “I’m ready to defend those who cannot defend themselves…can you say that?” He hit her across the face and then in the stomach hard and turned. “Go get the droid. He gets another shot at her” he left the room, leaving her alone as she hung there.

Kissimi

Kissimi slipped inside, smirking at how lazy the hunters were. She followed the Force, letting it lead her to where the Jedi was being held. She studied the room, checked how guarded it was, then slid inside, keeping quiet. Hunters are getting lazy, She thought to herself, smiling as she studied the Jedi. Interesting. Looks like she's been here for a while. She noted silently, moving into the shadows and using the force to unchain the Jedi, careful not to let the other fall too hard. Her only problem now was escape. That would be difficult, but she might get to fight.

Chase and Pira Jackson

Chase stroked the head of the white wolf, while his sister engaged in a staring contest with the brown wolf. He found the wolves odd but did not share this belief with Pira. Pira, however, found the wolves to be wonderful. She was too young to understand how dangerous the creatures were, and Chase envied that. He watched as repair droids went about the ship, fixing and sprucing it up from the inside out. The wait felt like hours, and it perhaps had been hours. He had no real sense of time.

Megara was barely awake when she felt someone come into the room. Then lift her off the hook and lay her on the ground. She flinched and stirred, fighting to open her eyes. She said weakly “whose…there…”

A figure was watching the kids and wolves, his eyes glowing gold as he kept an eye on things.

Kissimi

After a few moments of silence, Kissimi approached the Jedi, kneeling at her side. She didn't speak for another couple moments as she studied the other.

"My name is Kissimi. I was sent to help you," She replied, glancing at the door.

If that door opens, I'll have to fight. I don't want to, but I might have to. Worst comes to worst, She told herself, knowing how bad it would be if she accidentally got her lightsabers switched up. She still had the dual purple lightsaber from Master Windu, but didn't want to risk using her red instead. It was a matter of deception, that would be the issues.

Chase and Pira Jackson

Chase was startled as the white wolf suddenly walked away from him and began sniffing around. The wolf knew something was off, but either didn't or couldn't share with the boy. He glanced at Pira, who hadn't noticed anything was wrong. It was up to him and the white wolf to figure out what was wrong; the brown wolf was distracting Pira still.

Megara flinched and opened her eyes, seeing the woman before her. “You…heard me…I thought…” the door did open and the two hunters from before appeared. “Hey! What are you doing here!?” Megara tried to sit up and threw her bond hands out. The hunters was slammed back and she looked around weakly “my saber…the boss as it on his belt…I can’t leave it…” she tried to stand but her legs couldn’t hold her.

The figure raised an eyebrow when the wolf caught his scent and chuckled. He stepped out, his pure white hair not matching his younger looking face. He held up his hands. “Pardon me but…are you Jedi? I was hoping you could help me find a friend”

Kissimi

Kissimi stood quickly, her hand going to her lightsaber. She glanced at Megara. But said nothing for a moment, feeling a spark of alarm from her wolf. She shook her head to dismiss it.

"Forget your lightsaber. We'd both rather your life," She responded.

Chase and Pira Jackson

The white wolf snarled, and Chase approached the wolf. He stayed behind the wolf. By now, Pira and the brown wolf came up beside Chase. Pira knew enough to let Chase do the talking. He was older, so he knew a bit more than she did. He scowled.

"Who are you?" Chase asked, his voice shaking.

Megara looked at her and said “I can’t…it’s my life…” she used the woman to get up and had to lean on her when the boss came in with more men. Megara glared at him and said “that’s mine” she waved her hand and her saber flew into her hand. Then she said to kissi “don’t rat me out..”

Then she closed her eyes and suddenly shadows moved around them and slammed into the boss and hunters, sending them thru the wall. Megara was breathing hard now as blood started to drip from her. “Let’s go…”

The man said “my name is Bane Clawson. I’m looking for an older Jedi named Shade? Megara Shade. We were working on a mission and then she vanished. I’m hoping you might have word about her?”

Kissimi

Kissimi rolled her eyes. Jedi are so attached to their weapons. Such a shame. She thought. And as if I would rat you out. I need you.

"I won't," was all she said.

She had to admit to herself, she was impressed with the fight that was left in the Jedi. But another spark of alarm from both her wolves sent her collapsing to the floor. STOP THAT! She didn't know if the wolves would get her message. She picked herself up, dusting herself off.

"Stupid wolves," She muttered.

Pira and Chase Jackson

Chase shook his head, though he recognized the name from his lessons. "No. Sorry."

Megara looked at her and said “what’s wrong?” She flinched and coughed, blood hitting her lips “we need to leave now…more will come…I have to…warn the council…” she looked at her saber and said “my master gave me pieces from his…I can’t leave it behind now…the shadows…that’s what can’t get out”

Bane sighed and said “worth a shot…do you have a master with you? Maybe they might know?”

Kissimi

She shook her head, moving toward the door. "Nothing. Can we just get out of this place?"

She was worried about the kids. The alarm from the wolves had been too strong for a normal droid attack or something of the like. Something was very wrong to the animals, and Kissimi didn't like it one bit.

Pira and Chase Jackson

"She's out getting supplies. She'll be back later," Chase replied.

Megara limped with her, holding her side as they moved to get out. But at the main doors more hunters had shown up and Megara cursed and said “too many for a saber fight…get behind me…” she closed her eyes again and the shadows moved again, taking shapes and then slamming into the hunters again and clearing the path. Megara grabbed kissi’s hand and made her run with her out, shadows covering them.

They made it outside and megara swayed and leaned on the wall. Blood dripping everywhere now. “Go…back to your young ones…I have to…” then she fell forward, aiming for the ground.

Bane nodded and moved to sit down and pulled his pair of pistols and laid them in front of him and a blade. “All my weapons. Now everyone can calm down. I’m not a threat. Just looking for my friend”

Pira and Chase Jackson

The wolves snatched the weapons, both still growling. It was clear neither trusted Bane, with their own reason. Bane wasn't their master or charge, so they simply didn't trust him. Chase put a hand on the white wolf's head, trying to calm her down. But the wolf jerked away and paced. It was clear that the white wolf was the temperamental one, and the brown wolf was the logical one.

"I do apologize for my animal friends. They find trust difficult," Chase sounded sorry on the wolves' behalves.

Kissimi

Kissimi caught her before she hit the ground, setting her against the wall as she shook her own head.

"You're in no shape to do anything. The kids weren't here for me. I have no directive from the Council for a Padawan- much less a pair," Kissimi spoke firmly. "We'll go back to their ship, and you can rest. Then you can return to Coursant and speak to the Council."

Bane shook his head and said “don’t worry I get it. More than you know. My other side isn’t trusting either…just don’t lose the the weapons please? I have them on the perfect settings. I don’t t mean harm. My nose told me to come this way”

Megara flinched and said “I have…to find Bane…the holocron…hidden…” she was barely awake, blood loss getting worse
