I DO NOT WANT TO BE THE SOLE GM/DM. My preference is that either I present my idea and then hand it over to someone else or I have a secondary GM who can help pick up whatever slack I may introduce to things. HOWEVER, I've been mulling this idea around for a while.

Ever After would be a Disney/Fairytale RP with either sons and daughters of established lore characters or character based loosely on Disney or Fairytale Characters. There is no strict adherence to canon or lore here, please feel free to write the character how you envision them. Want a male Ariel? I don't have a problem with that. We would need to eventually decide if we'd rather just do descendants of these characters, the characters themselves or some mixture of both if we can swing it. Only issue I see there is that if someone makes a daughter/son of "x" character and then someone brings "x" character, they are now pigeon-holed into playing that character with a daughter/son.
I also really enjoy the aspect of a real or semi-real economy system based on activity. For example, Characters would have starting cash, say $1000, to find a place to stay and get other things they'd like. (We would craft a list of places for rent, purchase, etc that characters can choose from).
Each Month, you would be required to post however many times we decide is fair (I'd say 2-3 posts within a month) and by doing so, you earn money for that month's check. This would mean each month, you'd be required to make an "Activity Check" post in OOC where you link to your posts for that month and settle up on your rent and how much you made from the check. This would not be limited to posts made within the group thread, but to 1x1s between characters as well. The idea here is to create a community of writers within one setting where multiple threads and things are happening in addition to the main thread, if we even have one. Only public posts of your writing would count towards this total for each Month.
From there, they could purchase tools/licenses for jobs and start making additional money per check. and eventually buy their own businesses to make even more money.
I also tousled with the idea of a bounty board of sorts, similar to something like Stardew or My Time at Sandrock, but where I would post up plot hooks/ideas based on current events in the over all plot that players could parttake in.
The plot would take place in a modern day setting, similar to ONCE, but just a modern retelling of a place where fairytale and fairytale flavored characters live and interact. Think small town with growing industry, so nearby forests, farms, and over time, more businesses than just your basic general store.
Money will mostly be flavor and you can sort of do with it what you want. You cannot magically give your character a million dollars or a fancy car, but you can have them "save up" for a car that costs a reasonable amount ($30k, $70k, etc).
The overall tone of the RP would be slice of life/drama/romance. We would keep everything PG with people having the option to take 18+ plots privately and between two writers. Those posts would NOT count towards monthly Activity Checks (AC).
Fail an AC, get a warning and a reduced "pay" for your character. Fail an AC three times in a row and risk removal.
Let me know what everyone thinks based on this premise and if anyone would be willing to either GM this or assist me in GMing this.
