Charles.Beaumont | |
![]() 61 | Charles Julian Edward Beaumont | He/Him "There are those that are born to rule, and those that are born to follow." | Description: A once prominent and well known businessman of Cloverfield, now fallen from grace. Charles built himself up from nothing - if nothing was, of course, two Adept parents who never felt the need to build wealth, but could easily get it from those less fortunate (Blind). It was much the same for him - his unique combination of Blue and Pink Lux making it all too easy to sway people to offer him the best loans, and to buy his products. Eventually, he had multiple successful businesses - a technology company, a city wide pharmaceutical, smaller businesses bought by him. He was one of the richest men in the city. Everyone - on the North Side, that was - knew the name Beaumont. But Charles was incredibly ambitious and intelligent. He wanted more than money, and he wanted more than what tasteful magic could offer him. Why was he born with Blue & Pink lux if not to unlock its full potential. So in his early thirties, Charles began a form of ‘human experimentation’. Paying South Side gangs to kidnap people who wouldn’t be missed, giving him guinea pigs to test out horrifying Blue & Pink spells. Completely rewriting their brains, curses to morph them into whatever grotesque creature he needed, and more sophisticated mind control - pain causing curses that put the test subjects under his control without the need for him to actively spell cast. Then, he got Paranormal. Cracking Emotional Fields with blue lux took some work, but he did it. From there, his magical power only grew stronger - and his spells crueller. Many perished, but a fair few were kept captive as nothing more than mind controlled zombies - and fewer still released back into the world as if nothing had happened. His dark, criminal activities were hidden underneath the legitimate businesses - and no one had reason to suspect. No one could tell. Even his daughter Vanessa, born only to carry on his legacy, was controlled by the same curses he used on his victims. Unfortunately for Charles - and fortunately for Cloverfield - his pride and arrogance led to his downfall. He saw the situation after the Cataclysm as an opportunity to take over the city, and his use of the test subjects was the first sign of what he’d been doing. His business partner - a Green-Pink lux user, and the only other person (outside of his daughter) - saw the fall before it came, and betrayed him. Thanks to this, the Paranormal Authorities in the North Side were able to arrest him. Now Charles is where he belongs - imprisoned and unable to continue his disturbing experiments. But his spellbook and his daughter, trained by him, are both currently missing, with an open case and bounty on both… Abstraction: Adept - Blue & Pink Lux. Channeler: Insignia ring Charles is an incredibly powerful Adept, having trained from a young age and furthered his own magic through constant experimentation with little care for morals. He seamlessly blends together his Blue and Pink Lux to form a large, and disturbing, spellbook. While he can do all the ‘basics’ of both his Lux - telepathy, mind control, cursing people to turn into monsters, creating cursed diseases, ect - he’s constantly pushed the boundary thanks to his combined types. These spells are the ones he truly considers his. Curse of Entry: A primarily Blue spell with a hint of Pink, this spell is the fundamental of Charles’ spellcasting. It allows him entry through an Emotional Field. Once the curst is cast he can get past the target's Emotional Field as he pleases. He’s perfected this to the point of incredible subtlety and speed, along with it being very hard to break. This allows him to cast all of his other spells on Paranormal as if they were Blind. Curse of Hallucination: Curses the target to hear constant, auditory hallucinations in their mind. These feed off their fears and thoughts, able to have a conversation with the cursed as if there was someone else in their head. There’s no escape from it - and these hallucinatory thoughts are always negative. Curse of Erosion: A curse to cause someone to lose their sense of self. Slowly, they lose all the love and joy they get from the world - starting by losing what they got pleasure from. Then, their feelings towards places and people are dampened. Eventually all they feel is apathy. Curse of Incorrect Memory: A curse that subtly changes the cursed memories. Sometimes it removes slight details, sometimes it adds them, sometimes it changes the memory. This means that the target often looks like a liar, or like they might be going crazy. It’s inconsistent, and a spell Charles developed purely for the fun of it rather than any practical benefit to himself. Curse of Painful Resistance: A spell that Charles considers one of his masterpieces. It is a curse directly linked to the target's thoughts. When cast Charles chooses what thoughts trigger the curse. When the cursed thinks any of them, the curse is triggered, causing them intense pain. This is akin to a constant migraine at first, which spreads to their entire body as their nerves send pain signals everywhere. It lasts for half an hour. He can do this for anything - most often causing pain if the target has any thoughts of going against him, betraying him, or similar. Most typically this was used on stronger Paranormal, or the few people he ‘worked’ with. Curse of Command: Similar to Painful Resistance, this spell is one Charles has perfected. It’s an advanced form of typical Mind Control spells, which he viewed as inefficient. Instead of having to directly mind control people, he implants cursed commands into his targets. Certain thoughts trigger the curse, which then brainwashes them with Pink lux. With enough layered they’re completely under his control without him having to actively cast. Curse of Death: A spell from his twisted desire to cause pain rather than control, this is a curse that causes an incredibly long and slow death. It adjusts the brain to cause constant, excruciating pain while slowly killing it off. Eventually, they suffer from brain death, but not after a long period of suffering. Curse of Monstrous Magic: Beyond just cursing people to have monstrous appearances, Charles developed a spell to turn Blinds into Paranormal - an Abstraction Granting curse. He has a large list of different curses, and was constantly developing more on the Blinds captured for his experimentation. Brain Manipulation: Rather than a spell, Charles’ ability to permanently change the brain is a series of subspells he was constantly developing on his test subjects. More than just changing thoughts or controlling people - this spell allowed him to fundamentally change their mind. He could mess with their nervous system through the brain, forcefully remove memories, create an entirely new person by adjusting their neural pathways. All of these changes were permanent. He saw this spell as limitless with enough time and work. Brain Death: A quick pink lux spell which causes immediate death by ceasing the brain's function, so that it no longer sustains life. |
Robin.Woods | |
![]() 23 | Robin Connor Woods | He/Him "What’s most important is that we’re there for each other." | Description: Bryn’s only brother, and the second Woods child - Robin is a well put together and calm young man. While he didn’t have to take on the same responsibilities his sister did when their father died, he did help fill the gap at home left by their mom’s near catatonic state for years while Bryn worked. Thanks to this Robin has a good head on his shoulders, and is more mature than his age would suggest. He’s kind and caring, often looking over other people first. Robin was inducted into the Grove at a young age, younger than his sister was. He was never trained to be a leader like her, even with him actually kindling. This wasn’t something that bothered him - he saw his skills as lying elsewhere. He’s a supporter, not a leader, and has found his place as one of the few remaining healers outside of the Grove itself. Essential to avoid frequent use of the Grove itself. Outside of being a Grove member he works as a carpenter - often finding work in the city itself. Robin is a taller man, at six-one, with shoulder length dreadlocks and his fair share of tattoos. He’s often found smiling, and his gentle temperament is obvious after only a few moments spent with him. Thanks to his job he’s muscular, and is often found in band t-shirts and jeans. Abstraction: Adept - Red & Green Lux. Channeler: a worn leather watch Robin specialises in the manipulation of wood, with some skill in floramancy as a whole. He is also a talented healer - one of the best in the current Grove. He can heal people through plants and trees he can control, allowing him to easily heal anyone within his sight as long as they’re in contact with the ground. |
Laurel.Woods | |
![]() 21 | Laurel Ffion Woods | She/They "If I work hard enough I’ll be able to get my family to a better place." | Description: The third Woods child, Laurel is the shyest in a headstrong group. Growing up she was always hiding behind Bryn or their parents. She preferred to be inside reading a book instead of playing outside with the other children. But just like all four of them, Laurel has a fierce love for her siblings and community- even though she’s now left it at her sibling’s urging. Incredibly smart, Laurel managed to fight through the obstacles of poverty and a tiny, underfunded school to get into Cloverfield University with a scholarship. At eighteen they moved to the city itself, finding an apartment share in the Lower District and commuting to the north side to attend classes with people nothing like them. While Laurel has to work hard, both to retain her scholarship and in a minimum wage job to supplement what Bryn can give her, she’s come into herself since she left home. While she’s still relatively quiet she’s much more confident, forcing her older siblings to treat her as an equal. Even though they clash more than they used to, she still has a good relationship with Bryn. Laurel kindled at twelve and was inducted into the Grove just afterwards. While she was trained when she was young, Laurel is the weakest magically thanks to favouring academic studies over the magical. She’s still competent enough and retains her Grove membership, attending meetings when she’s in town. Laurel is five-ten, with a well maintained afro and a couple of tattoos in mostly hidden places. Abstraction: Adept - Red & Green Lux. Channeler: Unlike the family tradition of rocks and flowers, Laurel primarily specialises in hydromancy. She has a high control over water, able to take even small sources and use them in deadly ways. Along with this, she can turn her body into water she can freely manipulate, skillfully combining her two lux types. Laurel is also a decent healer, though nowhere near her brother. Her main Green Lux talent lies in body transformation and manipulation. She can make herself or others look different, for disguises or similar. She can also use her Green Lux to enhance strength, speed ect for both herself or someone else consensually. Her magic is generally more supportive. |
Mari.Woods | |
![]() 19 | Marigold Eirin Woods | She/Her "Ain’t it nice that the world’s so fucked up, and we’re supposed to just keep living in it?" | Description: The youngest of the Woods children, Marigold is someone with plenty of love to give - but also often harsh and unyielding. She loves her family, friends and community with all her heart but she also has a deep anger towards all the shit she views as unfair. She’s confident in herself but stubborn and prideful, traits that often lead to her clashing with her older sister, Bryn. In many ways the two are similar, Mari just wasn’t forced to mature like Bryn was. She was spoiled the most by all of her older siblings, so she’s very much the baby of the family. While Mari was only eleven when she kindled, she spent a few years learning with her mom (who was a bit better by then) and getting to actually be a child. She didn’t join the Grove until she was sixteen. On the side of her job in a local shop, Mari is a bassist. She has a band with three other teens from Raven’s Rest - they mostly just play in the local bar, but they’re hoping to make it big one day. She’s the least enthusiastic about her Grove involvement - less so even than her sister who moved to the city- and her mother’s death hit her hard. Even though she’s not so much into the Grove, she’s very in tune with her magic. Mari is five-six, with coily natural hair and multiple piercings. She has to wear glasses, and is almost always found in some kind of goth look with darker makeup to match. Abstraction: Adept - Red & Green Lux. Channeler: a silver ring Mari specialises in primarily the manipulation of plants, earth and rocks. This is often combined with transformation of her own body. She has a high control over both, though her application can often be rough when it comes to the earth and rock manipulation. |
Shaniya.Hart | |
![]() 29 | Shaniya Colleen Hart | She/Her "I only welcome care when I'm wounded." | Description: Shaniya Hart’s path to becoming one of the PRA’s most formidable agents was shaped by her years in Cloverfield, a city rife with crime, corruption, and the constant threat of the Paranormal. Growing up in this chaotic urban landscape, Shaniya was no stranger to danger. From a young age, she was drawn to law enforcement, fueled by a fierce determination to protect those who couldn’t defend themselves. She grew up alongside her younger sister, Cleopatra (Cleo) Hart, a girl with a free spirit and a fiery determination. While Shaniya always felt the world's weight on her shoulders, Cleo often sought her path, which led her into the city’s darker corners. The sisters shared a strong bond despite their differences, which was tested over time. After high school, Shaniya enlisted in the United States Army as an Infantry, where her innate combat abilities and leadership skills quickly set her apart from her peers. Her time in the service honed her tactical mind, and by the time she was honorably discharged, she knew her next mission: the PRA. Titan, a powerful Apparition, had already chosen Shaniya during her time in the military. In the heat of battle during a particularly harrowing mission, Shaniya found herself trapped, surrounded by insurgents, with no escape. Her squad had already fallen, and Shaniya faced the crushing weight of failure. Thoughts of her sister Cleo and the world she was fighting to protect swirled in her mind. In that moment of despair—when Shaniya felt truly broken—Titan appeared, an immense Apparition of pure power. Seeing the raw strength in Shaniya’s will to protect others, Titan bonded with her, offering her his abstraction. The Apparition’s strength flowed through her veins, and for the first time, Shaniya felt genuinely unstoppable. But with this power came the weight of Titan's will—a reminder that her strength was not just for her survival but for protecting those who couldn’t fight for themselves. Upon leaving the military, Shaniya was recruited by the PRA, impressed by her success in handling high-risk situations. The PRA saw her potential and promised her the opportunity to combat the Paranormal nationally. Their ideals aligned with Shaniya’s—she wanted to protect the innocent and keep the world safe from the ever-growing threat the Paranormal posed. She joined the PRA, quickly rising through the ranks, driven by an unyielding resolve to protect Cloverfield and beyond. However, over time, the PRA’s methods began to wear on her. Shaniya’s growing dissatisfaction with the PRA began subtly. At first, it was just the bureaucracy—the mountains of paperwork, the endless red tape, the slow-moving wheels of justice. But the cracks in the agency’s foundation soon became impossible to ignore. Her true transformation, however, came during the Cataclysm. Cloverfield became the epicenter of an unprecedented disaster when Nyrah the Ravager, a force of destruction, threatened to annihilate the city. Thrown in the chaos, Shaniya became a pivotal fighter in the war, using her abilities granted by Titan to combat Nyrah and other cataclysmic forces. Her bond with Titan, already forged in the heat of her military service, grew stronger as she faced the devastation head-on. Her powers and status within the PRA made her a highly respected agent, but they also began to push her further away from the agency's methods. As Shaniya continued to protect Cloverfield, she became increasingly disillusioned with the PRA’s bureaucratic nature and heavy-handed tactics. She saw the city’s residents suffering, not just from Paranormal threats but from the PRA's oppressive actions. The agency’s unwillingness to address the real issues in the town began to irritate her, and soon, she was questioning her loyalty to an organization that seemed more focused on maintaining control than helping people. Now, Shaniya stands as one of the PRA's most powerful agents, but her growing dissatisfaction with the agency’s mission looms over her. She’s still driven by the same desire to protect Cloverfield, but she’s beginning to realize that to save her city truly, she may have to go against the organization she’s sworn to serve. Her relationship with Cleo is complex—a mix of love, guilt, and unspoken resentment. Shaniya tries to shield Cleo from the dangers of their world, but Cleo, increasingly drawn to the city’s underworld, has become a force in her own right. The sisters’ bond fractured after a violent encounter in which Shaniya was forced to confront Cleo’s involvement with a Paranormal crime group. Though Cleo escaped, the rift between them grew wider, leaving Shaniya with a sense of guilt over failing to protect her sister from the very thing she was trying to fight. Now, Shaniya struggles with the tension between her duty and her family, knowing that she may have to choose between the PRA and saving what’s left of her relationship with Cleo. Shaniya is African-American, thin and lanky, standing at six-one. Abstraction: Adjoined - Tempest. Shaniya's Abstraction, granted by Titan, manifests raw, elemental power that enhances her physical capabilities and grants her unparalleled versatility in battle. Her connection to Titan gives her enhanced strength, durability, and the ability to fly, making her a formidable force even without using her elemental control. She can engage in close combat with exceptional resilience, shrugging off blows that would incapacitate a normal person, and her strength allows her to perform feats of brute force, from smashing through reinforced walls to lifting heavy objects with ease. Her flight gives her an edge in mobility, allowing her to soar across the battlefield, evade attacks, or strike from the sky with deadly precision. On top of these physical enhancements, Shaniya can manipulate any element she desires, bending the environment to her will. She can control everything from fire and water to more abstract forces like light, electricity, and gravity. Her ability to manipulate the elements works like a slotting system: the more elements she chooses to control at once, the weaker her control over each one becomes. If she slots only one element, she can wield it with devastating power, using all her focus and mastery to harness its full potential. However, if she spreads herself across multiple elements, each becomes diluted, losing strength compared to when she concentrates on a single force. This "dilution" effect requires Shaniya to be strategic in combat, carefully deciding whether to focus on a single element for maximum potency or spread her influence across multiple elements to adapt to various threats. |
Julian.Wilde | |
![]() 24 | Julia Wilde | He/Him "I think if we knock off the top parts, this piece will be perfect." | Description: Jasper hails from the West Coast, born and raised in a beautiful, if boring, city called St. Portwell. While his early years were filled with strife, it quickly shifted courses when he met his now fiance Nico. The two were planning on building a perfect, quaint life together after they graduated high school. Julian went to the local university for art and was quickly building a following when a cataclysmic event happened. He moved out to Cloverfield following it and has been working to build that life here. Art is everywhere for Julian, and he often travels with a satchel that he uses to store a writing journal, painting supplies, or an art book. He tries and spends as much time with his fiance as he can, knowing full well that his disabilities make it hard for him. Julian makes it a point to travel to new places, try new food, and experience new things every week with Nico. As of now, his artwork is not paying the bills completely but he has been able to keep things afloat thus far. Abstraction: His magical eye for art. |
Nico.Ribeiro | |
![]() 24 | Nicolau “Nico” Rafael Oliviera Ribeiro | He/They "There’s still a lot of love left in this world. It's our job to protect that." | Description: Born in the wonderful city of St. Portwell, Oregon, Nico moved to Cloverfield with his fiancé, Julian Wilde just over a year ago. Thanks to this they managed to avoid the Cataclysm itself- but saw the after effects. A talented wood carver, Nico lives a relatively simple life in the South Side. A low paying job in a grocery store in the North Side, and a cheap apartment together in one of the worst parts of town. It's not much, but for him it's enough. Nico is someone who tries to see the light in the darkness. With this comes a friendliness that draws people over to him. At five-three, he’s short and unassuming. Scrawny, in a way, but it's easy to feel at ease around him. But he must have a killer skin regime, with skin so smooth it’s like he’s never been hurt. There’s nothing threatening about him- and Nico doesn’t want there to be. He’s trying his best to make his way around a broken city, attempting to forge connections with untrusting people. For now it’s mainly just him and Julian, and a few people from an art collective they formed… but that’s something he’d like to change. At least, he’d like to make some more friends. He’s chronically ill, but manages to live around this as best as he can. Abstraction: The power of being unfairly adorable (non magical). |
Dominika.Zielinski | |
![]() 26 | Dominika ‘Domi’ Tien Zielinski | She/Her "If only the world could be preserved like a photograph." | Description: Originally born in Poland to a Polish father and Vietnamese mother, Dominika ended up in St Portwell, Oregon with her family in her early teens. It was here that her love for photography bloomed, giving her a way to connect with people and a support when her life grew much worse. Then, it was a second income on top of the menial jobs that barely kept them afloat through university. Domi moved to Cloverfield just recently, in the hopes of making a better future. Of course, the South Side of Cloverfield isn’t exactly what dreams are made of… but it’s much cheaper to stay in. She’s never found without one of her many cameras in her hand. Domi stands at five-two, with dark wavy hair and light brown skin. She tends to dress casually, and her face is normally hid behind the lens. Abstraction: Magical ability to make anything photogenic. |
Ash.Price | |
![]() 23 | Ash Bailey Price | They/them "Everything’s fucked, so might as well make that into something." | Description: A drifter, Ash has only recently settled down in Cloverfield. Their life has been difficult and solitary. This is part of their fuel as an artist. Art is everything to them- the only good thing to come from their struggles, and the one thing that helps them with it. Ash is rarely found without a sketchbook, always sketching down their new ideas. While charcoal is their preferred medium, they’ve been able to expand into painting in the past few years. Part of a small art collective in the city, Ash is still a rather quiet and introverted person. But with those they know, their biting wit comes through. They care about those that manage to get through their walls- which is very few people. There’s very little they wouldn’t do for these people. Ash is taller at five-ten, with darker skin and dyed green dreadlocks. Their face is covered in piercings while their fashion varies from alternative and gothic to whatever cleans clothes they have around. Abstraction: None. |
Johnny.Thunder | |
![]() 28 | Johnny Thunder | He/Him "You art nerds are incredibile. Yet my music still brings in the most money." | Description: Johnny is a St. Portwell native who grew up in a performance mindset. Both of his parents were devout Christians, and both were talented performers in their own right. His father was an orchestra player, and his mother was a music teacher. As such, he was held to a high standard morally and musically ever since he first picked up a recorder and could think conscious thoughts. During his teenage years, he began to rebel against his strict parents, and often this was through his music. Where they wanted this perfect student of the craft, Johnny loved the harsh nature of rock and roll and metal. Things came to a head in his sixteenth year and he left his family behind and formed his first band, convinced he would make it big. Seven years later, he met the founder of the Art Collective he now calls home Julian. His sister had brought him to one of his shows, with the fifth band he founded, and after the show, the three shared a few rounds of drinks. Julian told him of this better future, and this drew Johnny in. After a few more meetups, Johnny joined the group and followed them to Cloverfield to pursue a new future. Abstraction: Abstraction: None |
Alice.Smith | |
![]() 24 | Alice Smith | She/Her "I don’t know, I think it needs something." | Description: Born to a poor fishing family, Alice was a surprise child to a couple who married to avoid shame in their family. She did not know much stability, and she was expected to help out on the boat as soon as it was safe for her to do so. She learned many wonderful skills from this work, but most importantly, her eye for her art. Even as a kid, there was a certain haunted quality to her art work that spoke to the strange sights she saw at sea. She won numerous awards through schooling, and eventually continued this pursuit of art when she moved to New York for college. It was here that she discovered her disdain for academic elitism and failed out after a couple of years. Back in St. Portwell, she reconnected with childhood friend Julian and Nico. She became one of the founding members of the collective they would later go on to found, and was an integral part of getting Johnny in as a member first. The two started dating a few months after that and have been inseparable ever since. She followed the troop to the East Coast and is excited about the changes they can bring to this area. Abstraction: None. |
Art. | |
![]() 24 | Art | They/Them "Hi." | Description: Art’s past is shrouded in mystery. While it is genuinely understood that they were born, when or where is as much a mystery to their close friends as it is to a stranger. They don’t talk much about their childhood outside of a pet dog they often reference, and most get the impression that something rather traumatic happened at a young age. To their friends, they simply appeared in a classroom at St. Portwell Highschool in Oregon one day and was a shadow at the back of every room they occupied. People assumed they had a home yet no one ever saw them leave the school, nor arrive in the morning. It was as if they simply appeared there each day. In truth, Art simply used their abstraction as soon as they learned control over it. It was easier for them to simply appear in class than to risk harassment on the bus or the streets. They made only two friends in school, Nico and Julian, and they latched onto the two like a lost puppy on the street. They have followed them wherever they went ever since, and have been a constant friend who Art has had a glowup since highschool. They learned makeup and learned a love for cosmetology. They obtained their liscneces right after highschool and began working in that field every since. Eventually, when the collective opened its doors, Art joined the crew and began to create costumes, wigs, and began to sell them through their locations. They followed the crew when it moved to Cloverfield. Abstraction: Unknown. |
The.Mother.Will | |
![]() ??? | ??? | She/Her "The Pit favors you; it doesn't want to let you go." | Description: The Mother Will is an enigmatic and unnervingly powerful presence within the Pit. She claims to be the voice, the mouthpiece, and the living embodiment of the Pit itself. Whether or not she is truly a being of the Paranormal or something else entirely is a subject of fear and speculation. Mother Will is the Pit’s manipulator, pulling the strings behind its evil influence. She has a chilling, omnipresent quality, able to appear seemingly anywhere at any time. She guides whoever she presents herself to toward brutality, encouraging them to give in to their darker impulses and subtly twisting their perceptions of right and wrong. She is a dark mentor, always seeming to know a person’s deepest fears, desires, and insecurities. Through subtle manipulation, gaslighting, and the instillation of doubt, she can lead her "students" down a path of violence and self-destruction. Her presence feels almost omniscient as if she can see everything happening within the Pit and beyond, her eyes always watching and waiting. When she speaks, it’s as if she already knows the choices that will be made, and her words seem to resonate with an unnatural truth. There is a cruel, almost playful tone to her judgments—she speaks as if the Pit is a living, breathing entity, caring for those it "likes" and punishing those it "hates." Her voice is never without purpose; every word serves to nudge, prod, and push her target in her desired direction. The Mother Will claims that the Pit "likes" worthy people who show promise or strength. If someone catches the Pit’s interest, she assures them they are safe—at least for now. In truth, being favored by the Pit might not be as desirable as it seems. Though the Pit may not harm them directly, it will never let them leave, forcing them to conform to its nightmarish design. Conversely, if the Pit "hates" someone, their end is likely near. However, there is a strange mercy: the Pit may allow them to escape. The Mother Will is always there, a constant presence in their minds, whispering encouragements to embrace the darkness, to become more than they ever imagined. She is challenging to define. Is she an apparition? A manifestation of the Pit itself? Or something else, something far more terrifying? Her influence is subtle, her manipulation insidious, and her true purpose remains a mystery. Some believe she was once a being of flesh and blood, but now, she exists purely as a force of eldritch power, an entity that thrives on chaos and despair. She speaks like a mentor, offering wisdom drenched in poison, presenting violence as a form of liberation, and teaching her "students" that the only way to escape the Pit is to embrace it completely. Her true nature is a question that haunts all who encounter her. Whatever she is, she cannot be easily understood or explained. She is part of the Pit, and perhaps, in some way, the Pit is part of her. The Mother Will looms over Destiny Wright long after escaping the Pit. She whispers promises of power, purpose, and a place Destiny truly belongs—the Pit. Abstraction: The true nature of Mother Will remains elusive. Her essence defies any precise categorization within the realm of the Paranormal. Her influence is unearthly, bending the rules of perception and reality in ways that suggest she may not belong to any world, plane, or system of understanding. Is she a force of the Pit, a product of its corruption, or something older - something else entirely? |
